In 2016 my 74 yr old mom survived a major brain aneurysm. She was left with numb, sore, tight and tingly feet. Over the next few yrs. she tried everything from massage, cbd, tens unit stimulation, lyrica and acupunture. Nothing seemed to work. About 3 yrs. later after searching for other helpful ways to make her feet feel better I found Care Chiro, Dr. Nancy. So I called and made an appt. for mom. We went to see her and she explained how she helps people with peripheral neuropathy treatment. Because my mom had nerve damage in her feet from the aneurysm this is what she would need. So she explains all these things asks us to watch a video which looked amazing of course. Then tells us it is a scientific 4-step proven approach to heal nerves and reverse symptoms and guaranteed to help her. Then hits you with a price of $6000.00 which she collects all up front! Non-refundable! So my parents decide to fork out the money because mom is desperate at this point for some relief. Well this program consisted of a powder to mix with water and drink everyday, some creams and a footbath with supposed nerve shocks, which she never felt anything. She had an appt. 1 or 2 times a week. Nancy would do some measuring of her gait and some adjusting etc. and tell mom to dome some exercises. This whole program was supposed to last a year! At this point I am just gonna say, she felt nothing, no different at all everrrr! Mom got frustrated and did not want to keep going back because she felt nothing was working. I asked Nancy to send me weekly reports of my mom as to what she thought about her progress because I live out of state and could not go to her appts. She refused to do that and said she would send me a monthly report. I believe I received 1 of those. Any time I would call to question her progress she did not really seem helpful and did not want to talk to me. So basically after day 1 and she had the money she was a different person. I asked for phone calls and never received them. Mom was frustrated and did skip a few appts. unbeknownst to me. The last time I spoke to Nancy near the end of the year, she tried to blame it on my mom for skipping appts. and said she wasn't doing the regimen. I didn't feel or see the compassion from her and neither did my mom! We were and still feel taken advantage of! Let me re-iterate $6000.00 was the cost for this crock for a yr. That is alot of money for my retired elderly parents. We basically just donated that money to her practice, which is a scam, at least the Neuropathy part of it is.
