He had no idea how our vehicle was badly scratched on the bumper, door, back hatch, hood and front bumper. We explained to him we went to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area during a car show recently and where we parked there were people moving cinder blocks around. The clearances were tight, but at these events you try and do your best. We came back to our car and found what we believe to be concrete block scratches on several parts of our car including the front left fender, front bumper, hood, door, etc. where it appears something literally rubbed against the car and damaged it. I cannot prove it, but I believe some of the damage was purposefully done by someone on site, but I cannot prove it, we were not near the car when all of the damage occured. Other people at the site said they experienced damage on their vehicles as well. Long story short, Mr. Tim Pulliam, an estimator with Gary Force Paint and Body shop comes along "after the fact" and makes a statement to the hatchet lady at State Farm Insurance Company that he just does not see how the damage could occur at the same time, like he was there and witnessed the damage. It's always bad enough working with an insurance company who you have had insurance with for over 20 years on multiple cars as well as home owners insurance to have a know it all estimator from a body shop come along after the fact and try to give the insurance company a reason to deny a perfectly legitimate claim. They came back to us and said, well, we believe we need to charge not one, but 3 $500.00 deductibles! All of this began because Tim Pulliam of Gary Force Body Shop decided he would just flex his guesstimating muscle and throw a huge bolder in the works, where the State Farm Insurance adjuster could come back to us and say, oh, the Gary Force professionals said there is no way that damage could have been done at one time. There are no words to express our anger. I trust you will remember our experience when we took our vehicle to Gary Force Body Shop. This battle is by no mean over yet.

For the second claim, I had to go out of town and dropped my vehicle off to be worked on while I was gone. It wasn't ready when I got back because the shop was closed due to the weather - a cold front with snow came through. There were about 51 hrs left of work to be done. So, they needed a full week to finish the job. By the following Monday, my vehicle was ready by noon. It looked like a brand new car. Mike was easy to work with and delivered.

He saw I was stuck and out of the kindness of his heart he lifted the rear of my truck up so I could back underneath it with my trailer. He didn't charge me a dime. If he had not stopped to help me out. I would've been caught in the oncoming storm. This is an amazing person and company. THANK YOU!! My 20 year old son took his car to Musser automotive because his car would randomly start reving…read morethe RPMS up and down out of no where! We had already figured out that something within the alternator clip, an electrical short or intermittent connection was causing or at the very least contributing to this problem! I instructed my son to make sure musser was aware of this before they worked on his car! They changed the map sensor, and other components in the car and told him that this would fix the problem! After he got his car back I asked if they addressed the alternator connector issue and he informed me that they didn't have to. The problem wasn't that.... Fast forward six months, and the problem is back! No problem you might say, musser offers a warranty and guarantees their work?? My son takes his car back to musser, while it's still under warranty, and they diagnose it, after my son insists on showing them the issue with the alternator connector. Jason's response was "that's just a coincidence". The next day they call and inform my son that that was in fact what was wrong with the car. Then proceeded to tell him how much they were going to charge him for the fix... that's when I stepped in and asked about the warrenty and their work being guaranteed... I was told they would get back to me... yet the next day by 1pm we still hadn't heard anything! Drove up there to talk to Jason because he said we needed to talk to him face to face, yet when we get there he's "gone to the doctor". We ultimately decided to take the car somewhere else because at this point I just don't trust them to do the right thing! I was never expecting them to pay for the parts, but I was most definitely not expecting them to try and make money off the parts, charge a $75 fee for absolutely nothing, and charge for labor, after throwing a bunch of parts at a problem that they misdiagnosed, and was too arrogant and prideful to listen to what my son had already told them!! I'll never take another car to musser automotive, and if you're smart, you won't either!! I work for General Motors, and know a thing or two about cars, however, I never told my son to go in and demand anything be fixed a certain way. Just told him to make sure they were aware of this so that it could be corrected too!! $1200 down the hole for the first repair that fixed nothing..... unless you've got money to blow, find a different mechanic that actually knows what they're doing, and doesn't do guess work! Edit: No tantrum was thrown! I picked up the phone after Jason quoted my son a price to RE-fix his car after throwing parts at the car the first time that were unnecessary, and ask if they really ran their business like this? He guarantees his work, parts, diagnostics, labor. Well the diagnostic was incorrect, and had he listened, and simply tested the alternator connection, none of the other parts and labor would have happened.... Never once did I say I expected Jason to eat all the cost! But you can bet your hind end I expected them the cover the labor, and eat their $75 garage maintenance fee or whatever the crap they call it! Bottom line, Jason had an attitude with my son because I refuse to let a mechanic take advantage of a 20 year old kid, that would rather pay the money than to be even the slightest bit confrontational! But I'll gladly pay a mechanic, who knows what their doing and will honor their promises, twice the money that I will someone who refuses to admit they messed up and try to honor what they originally promised! Re-edit- I appreciate you not charging us for something we already diagnosed and told you about when he initially brought the vehicle in!! You have a good day sir!

I didn't have the equipment to get the job done. Greenwood Service did! The vehicle also had a case of the creaks which I knew was a bushing, but I wasn't able to isolate the source. They found it was the right rear bushing that connects to the lower control arm. And the lower control arm and sway bar needed to be replaced. I partially expected something suspension related would need to be repaired. They got it done in short order and now I get to wrestle with my decision of having bought a Ford.
