However, over the past few months I had begun to experience difficulty with the A/C system...would occasionally work though more often not. I was worried about the cost of diagnostic procedures, and once the problem was located, about the cost of repairs. After taking the car to another shop, the freon pressure was deemed appropriate but their options/ideas were stifled at that point. They did suggest taking the car down to Greer's for further evaluation; thus, we were off... The guys at Greer's were able to rule out the expensive fixes (much to my delight) and narrowed the problem down to 2 separate components, each dealing with the electrical system. We opted to go with the least expensive option first, they ordered the part, it showed up on time and had my car fixed in less than an hour. Best part: I HAVE AIR CONDITIONING AGAIN!!!!! And yes, that last statement is extremely important as I will be driving back to Austin Texas in the upcoming months in the evil heat. I am now able to ride in comfortable style :-) Best of all, total cost was $109.05 for both part and labor. Not bad considering past repair bills for the VW. Ouch. So thank you, Greer's Auto Service, for allowing more happy time with my car and for not taking all the money i had (which wasn't much, but happy to have some left over, hehe)! Other notes: the shop was clean, inviting, personnel were extremely helpful, answering all questions I had and even pointing out things on the engine to further demonstrate what they were talking about. As a female, and having dealt with many shops in the past, they treated me with the utmost respect and I would happily return, though hope to not need their services again...if you know what I mean. Most of the time I take my car to the Dealer to eliminate risk of potential complications due to being unfamiliar with Subaru hardware, and without a Subaru dealer in Bowling Green, I was a little worried about finding a good spot to get the work done. The guys who performed the work on my car quelled all of those fears very quickly. The main technician was excited to see the car in the shop, and we had a good discussion about affordable sporty cars, which always warms the car enthusiast in me. I was in and out of the shop in less than 45 minutes (with one other person in front of me, and only 1 bay open, mind you). It'd be nice if both bays were open at all times, but I understand the logistics of a small town probably don't make this a viable option. All told, great work to the Crossroads team. Don't hesitate to bring your car in for an oil change if you're looking for a good value and quick turnaround!

He was told they were closing in 5 minutes and couldn't do it. In my book if they don't want to take anymore business, close it up early. It was an eye opener for us. They had to bring the vehicle from Somerset to Glasgow for us, saving us a 90+ mile drive. I waited until one year passed to post a review (11/2025). We just had the 15k service completed earlier this week. Services so far have been priced fair and all indications the job was done well. The speed at which the service is completed is great; very quick turn around. But the availability of scheduling short-notice is fantastic. A previous Nissan we owned and had serviced at another dealer (we live out of town from this dealership) was at least booked ten days out! I have been telling everyone how great Don Franklin is to work with. One of our sons bought a pre-owned Ram from here June of 2024, similar experience. Definitely five stars.

I woke up one morning to a flat tire in the front right and I didn't know what to do. I have AAA so…read moreI called to get a tow to a local tire company and this one happens to be right down the street from where I live. But that's not why I picked it. My daughter didn't internship at the BGPD and she said that they really like this place. So I called and they asked me if I wanted it fixed or if I wanted a brand new tire I told them probably a brand new tire. They quoted me a price for the tire and for the job and said it wouldn't be any more than that. We had the tow truck dropped my car off in the next day. I was able to pick it up surprise surprise they didn't have to get me a new tire after all they looked at it. It was fixable and I only spent I think about $56 there. No one tried to fleece me take advantage of me. They could a very easily made me pay for a brand new tire and hike. The price I wouldn't have known so I really trust this place and this is where I'll be taking my car from now on.

Driving from Indiana on our way to Florida for spring break, a series of dash lights and acceleration issues had us searching for a mechanic in a more urgent way. Not knowing the area, my quick search found Christian Brothers Automotive nearby and after reading their philosophy I knew this is where we were meant to go.
