We make kolaches at home most of the time so it's good to get a comparison to the in store versions. The sausage quality is a standard issue hot dog sausage and with melted shredded cheese. The boudin kolache was a bit underseasoned and bland and the carb on carb combination was quite heavy. The staff were nice and it's a good spot to have in the area.

One donut is 1.99. I wanted to try them so I ordered a 3 pack and a cinnamon roll. They were good, the cinnamon roll was better, great texture and right about of sweetness. When you want a jelly-FILLED doughnut, a "nickelsized- amount (NO KIDDING!) will NOT do. So...We began a search for Houston's BEST jelly-filled doughnuts. Our search ended at "Glazed Donuts" on Atascosita Rd! THIS is like the jelly-filled doughnuts we grew up with. The lemon filling is PERFECT. And, their glazed doughnuts are equal to Krispy Kreme. We have no need to go anywhere else. Word is out though! We have gone there to find "no lemon filled left" after online orders have processed. Its quite disappointing. So start EARLY if youre. a lemon-filled-doughnut-fan because, once you've had these, you will not want to substitute with a different shop's doughnuts. A couple more things I should include: Their store appears immaculate at EVERY hour, and the people there are super sweet.
