I wrote a short note to Dennis explaining that it is important to secure the gate to my backyard because my dog got out of my yard and was wandering through my neighborhood. The very next time they mowed my yard, the gate was securely latched when they left - problem solved! Additionally, I was notified after work last night (a Thursday)that my roof installation was rescheduled to the very next Monday. My lawn has been on the Mon-Tues lawn mowing schedule and early this morning, I realized that my lawn mowing needed to be rescheduled around the roof installation. So I messaged Dennis first thing this morning to explain what had happened and ask if they could fit my lawn into the schedule for today or tomorrow (Saturday) prior to my roof installation. That went sufficiently well although we had to wait a couple weeks. We subsequently asked him to do some front yard work including a border for our flower garden and install two trees. The border looks great however it was too far into the summer for the trees and it was suggested we wait until fall. Fair enough. It is now Thanksgiving and we've not heard a peep. It is a very small business that we think grew too fast to keep up which we can forgive. What we can't get past is that he effectively blew us off, never sending so much as a short text. Based on our experience we cannot recommend Over The Field Landscaping which is disappointing given what a nice guy Steve is and the quality of work his group seems to be capable of. The customer service is sadly very lacking and unacceptable.

The pricing may seem high at first but when they take the time to lay down mats for their truck, take every precaution so nothing (including themselves) are harmed, and rake up all the twigs and branches before they leave, it's all worth it. They're also insured so you don't have to worry about anything happening. You should know that even with all the precautions, just be prepared to have to re-seed and maybe level out the ground with all the machines they use. But I knew that coming in and it rained yesterday which didn't help. But with all that said, I would and will be recommending Dooley Brother's to anyone needing any trees trimmed or completely cut down including stump grinding. Would give 6 Stars if I could.
