We requested Peninsula Tree and Stump Removal is known as - (Stuart & Brenna Wells) at 03 59822210 from Rosebud VIC 3940 Mobile: 0408 171 470; for a quote, and details on a tree to be removed due to Bare branches Eyesore dying tree since 2015. Many dead branches have been falling down for 3 - 4 years and due to OHS the tree needed removal. Any smart person looking at the tree will be able to identify this problem soon with no added frees. We found this man online with NIL recommendations and decided to get a quote. We were sent a quote for $3850.00 with no details on the quote about the tree disease and issues noted. Then after making 2 more calls and a further SMS; we received an email from Stuart Wells asking for a further $375.00 plus GST for this con man to write the reason for the tree removal and disease. What has happened to society and ethics ?? Gum tree Ebola is a disease of the bark and causes exudation of eucalyptus kino or to red gum destroying the tree. The bark dies and lifts off and this results in girdling, or ringbarking of the branch or trunk of the tree. There is no cure known for either human or gum tree Ebola. This is not " Rocket Science", for anyone to ask for $375.00 plus GST. Please watch out public as most people will get caught to this cowboy as our blood boils when these ignorant misleading men think that women are an easy target !!! read more

BEWARE: Magistrates Court of Victoria Damages Order currently against this company for BREACH of CONTRACT (Case No. H10149694). Southern Peninsula Tree Works, aka Kenny's Tree Works aka Southern Peninsula Tree and Stump Removal - all companies associated with Stuart Wells and his partner Brenna Christal Garlick (Brenna Wells). Ill-equipped to do the job they promised and were contracted to do (clear block for new house site). Demanded payment up-front, started work, then picked up equipment and left, leaving a mess and a substantially incomplete job (6 months later). Customer service was non-existent, avoiding calls, refusing to meet and discuss completion etc. They made no effort to honour the contract - or refund client money. Client forced to engage another contractor to finish the job and clear up the mess they'd left. Forced to pursue legal avenue and ended up in the Victorian Magistrates Court. Court found that they breached the contract and awarded client damages and costs. They still refuse to pay, and threaten to wind-up the company so they don't have to make any payments, as per the Court Order. They are now operating this similarly named company hoping to avoid paying any costs/damages. They are the "cowboys" everyone warns you about. Do your research, and read the other negative reviews before engaging them. Wouldn't touch them, or any Company they are associated with, with a barge-pole!! Would rate them 0/5. read more

BEWARE. Ordered and paid for 14 cubic metres of mulch as advertised from Stuart the manager of Southern Peninsula Treeworks (AKA Kenny's Treeworks) and what this company did was off-load and dump 14 cubic metres of virtual GREENWASTE in my driveway that should have gone to the tip. The "so-called" mulch had multiple layers of green waste, heavily decomposed green waste (i.e. black slimy matter), masses of long branches and twigs, enormous amount of large leaves, and a huge amount of other greenery throughout. There was also several big "pockets" (at least 2 cubic metres) of green waste matter that had not even been put through the shredder/chipper that they had just chucked in the truck from whatever job they were on with the intention of dumping it on my property. The actual wood chip in the mix, if you can call it that, was of a huge size and not a garden mulch at all, and looks nothing like the mulch they advertise on their website and on social media. When I told them that this is not what was ordered they put all of the blame on me and refused to take it back - even though I said I didn't want a refund, just please just take it away! So now I have a mound of green waste dumped in my driveway that they didn't want to pay to dump at the tip. The mound is taller than me and cannot be used, I can't get a new delivery of the right mulch because there is nowhere to put it, and I can't park in my property because of their dumped green waste. They refused to talk to me about the problem, didn't answer calls or text messages, and when they did just told me to leave them alone. I had 3 previous deliveries of mulch from 2 other treeworks companies in the area, and it was great mulch as promised - not their green waste rubbish that needs to go to the tip. I can't even advertise it as unwanted mulch for FREE, because it isn't mulch. read more
