The bathroom was also so filthy and needed a professional deep clean. The tall gentleman I belive his name was trip was too busy checking out my sister which was so unprofessional . He really needs to focus on doing his job and keeping his tongue in his mouth and not gaucking at women that walk in. This is an elevated general store shopping experience! I discovered this location while traveling, it is not close to my home but if it was, it would be my daily destination for "fresh!" They have a huge selection of meats, seafood, cheeses, wine, beer, fresh cut veggies for easy meal preparation. One thing that is hard to find is old fashioned candies. They have them at this location! I bought coconut haystacks. Yummy sweetness! Stripling's General Store is amazing because it has all the necessary items you need to cook and you could even buy a birthday gift, hat, t-shirt, card, or a grill! The staff is helpful and courteous.

So I went to Publix where they don't mind cutting whatever you ask for. So my 12 thick cut bone-in pork chops came from Publix. I guess I didn't learn my lesson on the 1st trip. Not again.

It is always a nice and educational experience everytime I go. You are guaranteed to have a fun…read morefilled time during your visit. This is the ideal place for a family outing. The employees are always friendly and helpful throughout my walk through of the museum. There is a train ride on a 1917 steam train that is a great experience for both children and adults. The cute country store located at the entrance has a nice selection of home decor, clothing, candy, toys etc as well as hand dipped ice cream, hot and cold coffees and pastries.
