We loved that we could see into the space in which Lisa has so intentionally curated a colorfully artistic collection of swaddles, props, headbands, outfits, etc.. It was also so fun to watch her and her assistants love on our newborn as they created art with him. Once I received the photos, I realized that the cost was incredibly reasonable. Courtney was able to make me look good three weeks after having a baby, and I'm beyond awkward. She even got my baby to open up and show off her little personality! Courtney did the shoot at our house. She was able to work with the lighting and the roses in our front yard to make the pics look straight out of a magazine. We ended up ordering a photobook for a great price. I guess people are doing these a lot now. Basically you pick out your favorite pictures and plug them into a layout online. You end up with a custom-made photo album, except the pictures are printed onto the page. I know that we will treasure it. Another thing...Courtney has two little girls of her own. Maybe this is why she has a special talent for capturing kids on film. My three-year-old came right out of her shell for some really, really gorgeous shots.
