We had an initial conversation to discuss our ideas about the shoot and he took the time to listen and learn about what was important to us. This was entirely evidenced by the final product. His pictures are very "us" and turned out beyond our expectations in perfectly capturing our life and relationship. The day of, we had a great time. Alexandre made us feel very relaxed and comfortable. He was a perfect balance of hands off, but also supportive in providing feedback and suggestions for shots. We really appreciated this about his style of photography. He was extremely prepared and had obviously done alot of pre-work in researching good locations around the area we had suggested. He took the time to get a wide variety and strong quality of pictures. And we really appreciated not feeling rushed or held to a strict time-constraint. The whole process felt very organic. I cannot recommend Alexandre more highly. He is a true artist and we are very thankful for his time, consideration, and professionalism!

You can model for a discount on pictures, but you end up paying more to model and for outfits, than the discount is worth. All of the pictures are oddly sexual pictures of teenage girls, and the only male model I've seen was in a full football uniform. The one thing that we asked for was a picture holding a guitar and they refused. Plus they're overly strict about photo rights and watermarks. It all just seems like a scam to me.

Al worked with us several months before the reception to iron out details and get to know us over cocktails. His outgoing personality eased my concerns and I almost instantly felt comfortable giving him the reins on our dance party. Al is equipped with all the music and lighting you would need to enhance your dance floor (ours was in our garage as we had a backyard reception). On the day of, Al went above and beyond to help us keep to our timeline. He checked in with us and our families as we were busy mingling with guests, but in a way that was not intrusive. When my dessert donuts didn't fit the pegs on my MOH's donut wall, Al stepped right in to help us organize donut boxes. We didn't ask him to do this, it was simply out of the kindness of his heart. I would have Alan DJ our event again in a heartbeat. I was so impressed with how he continually kept the energy up on our dance floor (my legs were jello the next day!) and our guests expressed similar sentiments. You won't be sorry!

Poor customer service/poor communication/your pictures will be late/very disappointed in our…read morepictures-and we would not recommend booking with them. When we originally talked to Shem about taking our engagement pictures in October he told us this wasn't his busy time so he would be able to get our pictures back within 4 weeks. We were excited because we thought we could get save the dates out for Christmas. After taking our engagement pictures Shem told us his family was taking a 4 week vacation. We were naive and thought we would still get our pictures within 4 weeks. We contacted Shem at 5 weeks and he told us standard processing time is 8-12 weeks. So at 11 weeks 6 days we contacted them again to see if we would be getting our pictures back on time and he said they were behind on pictures and ours might be late which was frustrating considering he told us it would only be 4 weeks when we were talking about booking with him. We were getting married during the pandemic (October 2020) we asked about what would happen if we would have to cancel our wedding due to a government shut down, and Shem told us to look in the contract. In the contract, it states if you have to cancel your wedding for any reason you're out all of your money. So he was not going to be workable with us if it wasn't our choice to cancel our wedding we were just going to be out the $3,300 dollars. Our wedding pictures were also very late. We had to ask to get our pictures back (at 13.5 weeks after our wedding) and then we were disappointed in what we received back. It appeared as if they put the same filter on every picture which turned the bridesmaid dresses red instead of purple. At first Shem claimed it was the lenses he used, and later on he claimed it was the camera itself that caused the color issues. One of our bridesmaids touched her flowers to her dress and it made a very obvious water mark on her chest, and they didn't even try to edit it out. It appeared as if they didn't do individual editing on our couples pictures because on my husbands shoulders there was face make-up and deodorant in a majority of the pictures. There were spacing issues, phones and hands in pockets, jackets that weren't straight and things any normal photographer would point out and fix before taking group pictures. When you get your pictures back they will be separated into categories like bridesmaids, bridal party, couple, and family. When we asked Shem if they could fix the dress color on the pictures to turn the dresses back to the original purple color they only fixed the pictures in the bridesmaids folder. So the family pictures, and bridal party pictures were still red. When we contacted Shem again to ask him to finish correcting the pictures he ignored our two emails and voicemail. We notified Shem that we were going to seek legal action against him and he instantly replied to our emails stating "I did get the phone messages and emails, but in all honesty I ignored them." He's unprofessional to work with. It took a little under 19 weeks to get our "completed" pictures which meant an additional 16ish pictures we asked them to fix the color on instead of finishing all of our pictures. Our last thing we were frustrated with was the communication with Shem. We would text him, email him or call him and it would take multiple days to weeks for him to respond. Just totally unprofessional. *this review has nothing to do with Bekka. She took pictures of our wedding and was absolutely amazing to work with she would get 10/5 stars.
