We had an initial conversation to discuss our ideas about the shoot and he took the time to listen and learn about what was important to us. This was entirely evidenced by the final product. His pictures are very "us" and turned out beyond our expectations in perfectly capturing our life and relationship. The day of, we had a great time. Alexandre made us feel very relaxed and comfortable. He was a perfect balance of hands off, but also supportive in providing feedback and suggestions for shots. We really appreciated this about his style of photography. He was extremely prepared and had obviously done alot of pre-work in researching good locations around the area we had suggested. He took the time to get a wide variety and strong quality of pictures. And we really appreciated not feeling rushed or held to a strict time-constraint. The whole process felt very organic. We bought the beverages and the glasses and he and his crew mixed the drinks. I requested that no new bottles be opened the last hour before the dj was to be done and asked if the staff carded underage kids. I appreciated they didn't make me feel bad for asking either of those questions. I was most impressed when Jeremy said a little girl was broken hearted that she couldn't find a juice box (since there was a sign, listing we had juice boxes). He went over, dug out a juice box from the tank and tracked the girl down in the venue, making her day. Clearly, that was above and beyond his job but it was very nice of him. It was nice that we didn't have to worry about anything when it came to serving the drinks.

Our posed group photos look natural and the candid photos are excellent, even dealing with the little kids, and windy weather. All of the pictures were great of the wedding. IT WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING This rental company is not very…read morecustomer oriented. I booked chairs from them for my wedding that happens to be on a Sunday. One week before the event, they emailed me wanting to drop them off Friday since they said they're close on the weekends. I had too much on my plate, so I wasn't able to check my email that week. Friday came, and that's the only time someone tried to reach out to me saying their delivery guys were already at the venue. When I clarified it with their customer service, she blamed me for not checking my email they sent 1 WEEK PRIOR TO MY EVENT. They said they can deliver it to me on Sunday with additional inconvenience cost! HAD I KNOWN THIS INFORMATION, I WILL NOT BOOK WITH THEM SINCE I ONLY HAVE THE VENUE RENTED FOR THE DAY. After complaining and arguing to the very rude manager, he finally resigned and said it was a miscommunication, and they will be delivering it for free. However, given the stress they put on me, I didn't want to deal with them anymore as they seem to be not very reliable. I asked for a refund, but they said they're not doing refunds, and they only give credits/gift cash. I will only get married once, and given my bad experience, I don't think I'll ever attempt to use that gift card anymore. So, there goes my money down the drain since their contract isn't really flexible to their customer's needs, but ONLY THEIR OWN GREED. Giving poor customer service and not disclosing important information before the purchase like delivery time, then saying you can't refund if you cancel is just pure DAYLIGHT ROBBERY. Plus, the chairs were not even wiped ready for the next customers. They wanted to get free storage for the weekend and gaslighted me again and again saying other previous customers were okay with it. We ended up getting another supplier who rented the chairs for a cheaper price with better quality. Overall, it was very disappointing!

KROC is a radio station in Rochester, MN. The AM band offers news and talk shows, similar to…read moreNEWSTALK 1010 in Toronto or CJOB in Winnipeg. The FM band is what my review focuses on. KROC 106.9 plays music, with entertainment, weather, and news highlights scattered throughout the day. It's top 40 music. It's a cross between the relaxed tone of CHUM 104.5 and the music vibes of KISS 92.5 in Toronto. When I moved to Rochester years ago, I basically brought a suitcase of essentials and me on a plane. I then furnished my apartment by gradually getting items as I went along. One of the first items that I bought was a clock radio. I still have it to this day and it works. I find that whenever I am in a new city, I turn on the radio to listen to what's happening locally. I liked what I heard on KROC and it became my radio station for two years as a Rochester resident. I tuned into the morning show before I headed into work every weekday. Back then, the morning show consisted of Tracy McCray and James Rabe. Both have since left and have moved to another FM station in Rochester. Small world! KROC is located in downtown Rochester. The building is unassuming. It's beige with small KROC letters on it. It's not like some of the neon signs that we see in Toronto for radio stations screaming out their call letters. Rochester is significantly smaller in population than Toronto, but is still deemed a city. Hey, whatever works is good. It has been around since the 1960's. I liked the music. I got into Lifehouse, the band, thanks to this station, and more. I also learned what community activities were going on, which helped me figure things out as a resident. Luckily, streaming radio stations around the world can be easily done these days. I tend to tune in through a browser, but the station has an app that you can download, too. I'll occasionally check out what's happening on KROC, especially when I need my fix hearing a Minnesotan accent or two. (31)
