The resort is well kept, the dog park was clean, and there is a nice walking path through the property. The staff were friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with. The laundry facilities were also very good, with nice-sized washers and dryers. Advice for future visitors: the laundry machines are coin-operated only, but there is a change machine in the laundry room, so bring quarters or cash. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. We have family in the area and will definitely return.

If you are staying at the RV park you can use the area to fish even if you don't have a boat. The area is so nice because it is a combination of wild area and water. The restrooms are also nice and clean. The bathroom areas are all private. Each bathroom has a shower also. It was nice peaceful and quiet. We did get to see some gators and husband caught some fish. The park is conveniently located just a few miles from the USS Alabama ship and museum. If you want to go somewhere a little more upscale Fairhope is only an about a 20 minute drive. It is outside of town, but within minutes you have grocery and retail shopping.

There's a clear clique includes the manager, Michelle, and a woman who said she worked for her. A large white dog identical to the woman's jumped on my car and scratched the side of it -- and they insisted the dog was "never off leash." Witnesses told me they'd seen the dog off leash. In speaking with Michelle, she insisted her own dog was a "service dog" that it was the only one who could be off leash and it was "never more than 5 feet from her." Alabama law says otherwise, and her dog was not even with her at the time. The law says your property/yard/lot. Michelle works there, she doesn't own the RV park. If you're a Snowbird or traveling with pets, avoid this park. Regular guests get targeted while her clique gets away with anything.

The largest sites we have ever encountered in our 2 years as Full Time RV travelers. The people were amazing and the park was only 18 miles to Gulf Shores. Close to town and a country feel. There was weekly get togethers, Potluck dinners and celebrations. We enjoyed Mardi Gras with them Feb 2018. A hidden gem. A nice clubhouse with a book exchange, pool and very nice laundry. There are two shower rooms in the registration building. Large full hook up spots, both 30 and 50. Shaded and open available. They also have a fenced dog run. Plenty of walking opportunities on the grounds.
