One of the WORST experiences I've had interacting with a business. I never take the time to yelp or…read morereview places, good or bad, but wantedto warn others to stay as far away from this company as possible. I first contacted Dwayne "The Sign Doctor" to fix my neon sign in September 2018. After several weeks, Dwayne comes back to replace the broken neon, but it's the wrong color. So he comes back to uninstall and promises to bring back the correct neon in a week.... I hear nothing from him for months. I contact Dwayne in December and he says he's having equipment issues and will bring back the corrected neon in another week or 2....Again I hear nothing from him for months. I contact Dwayne in February to see where the sign is. He told me he was still having equipment issues and it would be another couple weeks..... AGAIN I hear nothing from him. Beginning of April (8 months from first contact), I again reach out to Dwayne. He tells me he's just been busy and to just give him ANOTHER week. He calls me a few days later and tells me he can't find the right color of neon. It's apparent that he hasn't worked on my sign this whole time and now is trying to source materials at the last min. Keep in mind the color I need is just white. Dwayne goes on to tell me that he could get a neon that is close in color, but he doesn't want to pay for the supplies because he only needs a small amount of it to complete my sign. He suggests just putting the sign back with the wrong color, the way it was 7months ago before he took it back to "fix" it. I obviously was not happy with this result after waiting all these months for a repaired sign. I suggested replacing the other part of the word on the sign so at the very least the words would match, even if they did not match the rest of the sign. Dwayne then quickly quoted me a price that was 3 TIMES what we had discussed originally back in September- charging me full price on the incorrect unit, the new unit I needed to match the incorrect one, and including the trips he has made to and from my shop to pick up the incorrect sign. I was extremely offended that after all this time, his inability to correct his mistake, and his non communication over 8 months, that this was his offer to correct the situation. I told him I thought 50% of the "new total" would be fair. Dwayne refused, and told me he would bring back what he had in another week. I came in to find my sign half down and flickering, not just the letters he was supposed to have been fixing, and a buzz you can hear a block away. I emailed him- no response. Today I called Dwayne to tell him what the new problem. Dwayne told me it was broken when he was there back in September, so he left it broken because I didn't want to pay for his trips to and from my shop to pick up the sign that was incorrect. He was extremely rude, and acting like it was me who put him out after 8 months of patiently waiting for "The Sign Doctor" to repair my sign. I've had to push back filming, photoshoots and events at my business waiting for this sign to be completed, and now I have to start this whole process over again. I wouldn't recommend hiring Dwayne to chew gum, let alone to fix the sign on your business. You're better off with some crayons and some cardboard. It would be less of a disappointment.

The worst booth package I've ever seen. The AE was absent most of the show. I believe the show…read moreforeman was drunk (I can't prove that but he smell like hootch) and when I needed "upgrades" like standard side rails, drape etc. it came either stained or warped and hours after I ordered it. I suspect their 1972 recycled banjo drape isn't even fireproofed. The carpet was frayed and smelled like an alpaca. It was such a hassle to have to call the owners to get this crap and on top of that it was waaaaaay over priced. I ordered graphics to have hung above my booth and I didn't get it until show opening. On top of that, they did arrive, it had this "green" vegetable based ink that smudged all over the place while the inept pseudo"rigger" hung it unlevel and acted unprofessional while foot traffic passed my booth up. Also marked the frayed booth carpet with his lift and dropped a shackle that came close to hitting my head. No sand bags on the bases so when a door opened, uprights and drape fell over the place damaging some my product. These are swap meet carnies pretending to know something about trade shows. The worst I've ever had in the US. Next show I'm going with GES or Freeman again.

So I talked to the people at Magnetic Sign and they recommended a banner to put on top of my van. They helped me with the design and than printed it out and delivered it all within the space of 1 week. The part that put them over the top was they helped me design a PVC frame to put the banner in and mount it on my van. The cost of the frame was less than $15. That made my van stand out in the parade. Now I have a banner for my events and have a parade ready kit. They not only helped me with my sign needs but they helped me with brain storm marketing idea's. They have been in business for over 20 years so they have seen a lot of business and they share those tips with me.
