Fun and clean park with an archery range! Kids loved the play structures. Definitely recommend.

Nice enough. I don't understand why they had to take down all the trees in order to put the park here. People like trees! Odd!

For the large dog space, the overpass gives some shaded area in addition to the canopy (with picnic table) and some pine trees. The small dog area includes some benches and pine tree shade as well. Both areas include free-to-use water for both drinking and bathing (kiddie pools are available), as well as some bathing areas available immediately outside of the gated region. Parking is plentiful and outside of the overpass noise and trains the noise is kept to a minimum.

I am from california where there is a dog park on every corner and not many of them have water available to clean em up when you leave you have to stop at the dog wash on your way home so that is totaly rad.. The people and dogs that go to the park are awesome too. You get to meet amazing people who do great things for there pets... and don't mind if you throw a ball or two for them. would highly recomend it..They don't have automatic dog water spickets so if you don't want your dog to drink after other dogs bring your own bucket but trust the dogs don't care. Hope to see you at the park!

It reminds me of hanging out in someone's backyard, watching everyone's dogs play. They do a good job at offering events for your puppies and even sending you reminders when your vaccinations are expiring! Just make sure you have your vaccination records ready to present when you arrive. First, there's plenty to do for the pups. Offering a variety of obstacles and mini pools for them to cool down in is enough to keep them entertained for a couple of hours. Every time we've been there were lots of dogs, and they have always been super friendly (don't get me wrong, there's always a yapper or two but nothing too serious). If you're nervous about coming due to lots of other dogs, they have staff who is constantly roaming the play areas ensuring any aggressive behaviors get resolved immediately. If watching dogs be goofy isn't enough entertainment for you, they offer plenty of chairs to sit down and enjoy a beer or beverage of choice. Everything is in a can (make sure to use the nifty can cruncher onsite and recycle after) and there's a decent list of options to choose from. They also have a few tv's from every angle if you just can't miss the game.

It's like a home away from home for you and your pups. I especially love bringing my dogs on a football Saturday. They play, I watch a game and enjoy a drink and everybody wins! They replaced the tennis courts with sand volleyball courts. The Park has the 2nd oldest disc golf course. It has at least 1 18-hole disc golf course in super-tall pine trees on the east side. You can fish here. The water features are on the south and north sides of Drake Avenue. People catch big mouth bass and catfish here. They have vending machines where you can buy food for the fish, ducks, and geese. There's a free splashpad here, and I think it's on astroturf that's open from Open Memorial Day - Labor Day, every day from 10:00AM to dusk. It closes very Tuesday at 5:30 PM and reopens on Wednesday morning at 11:00 AM to allow for maintenance. There's not a lot of shade near the splashpad, so you may want to bring an umbrella or some type of covering to get some relief in the hot summer months. I can't think of many restaurant options in the immediate area, except for the McDonald's which is just east of the park, the food court at Parkway Place Mall, the City Cafe Diner east of the park on Drake, a walk-up Taqueria El Cazador at Drake, and Triana and another Mexican place closer to the park on Drake. In other words, pack a lunch to enjoy! Covered pavilions are available to rent for events such as parties and reunions. We grew up playing ball in the ball fields at Brahan Spring. It looks like they offer flag football, soccer, and softball and baseball now. Personally, I would limit my visits to daytime/morning hours if I were taking children to this park. Also, the restrooms aren't very convenient to the splash pads and are often locked.
