We were told the fryers were down, which wasn't a problem since we planned to order breakfast items anyway. Our server was friendly, but service felt disorganized from the start. She forgot to bring my coffee, and I had to ask for it while she was sitting at the desk computer. We also noticed our food was taking an unusually long time to arrive, despite us being the only customers in the restaurant. Eventually, we learned they had to turn on and heat up the flat-top grill after we placed our order. At lunchtime on a Wednesday, that was surprising. Had we known the grill wasn't already operating, we probably would have chosen somewhere else. We're traveling and were hoping for a quick meal, but it took nearly an hour from start to finish, with over 30 minutes passing before our food arrived. Unfortunately, the food itself was even more disappointing than the wait. I ordered a ham and cheese omelet but was served a bacon and cheese omelet instead, which is a pretty significant difference. The pancake was dense, dry, and almost flavorless -- it honestly tasted like it was made from little more than flour and water. The French toast was acceptable but nothing memorable. Overall, we took a few bites from everything but barely touched our food.  We've been traveling for a month and eating at restaurants all over the country, and this was easily the most disappointing meal we've had on the road. The staff was pleasant, but between the long wait, incorrect order, and poor food quality, we won't be returning next time we pass through.

Great time after a long day of driving! Staff was fun and interacted with us. Its a small diner…read morewith lots of character and great food. Worth the stop with easy access off 94. Take a break!!! My dog loved the hamburger they made just for her.

We ordered a flight of beer to try some different styles and the beers were ok at best. The favorite of the bunch was probably the chili beer. All in all loved this place, loved the hospitality and we'd come back just for that and maybe try some of the other beers (maybe they're better)

That's Cross Country Brewing, or at least that was my experience of it. After a long day of driving, me, my girlfriend, and my mother were in the mood for a beer or two, so we jumped when we saw that there was a brewery in town. Glendive, after all, isn't exactly a metropolis with microbreweries at every intersection. Indeed, Glendive (or at least Cross Country Brewing) fit the stereotype of the hostile small town that doesn't much like outsiders. As soon as the three of us walked in we were greeted with that ominous silence and a blank, "What do you expect from me?" look on the face of the thin, bearded, ballcap'd bar tender. No "Hi" "What can I get for you?" "I recommend our famous..." etc. Nope. We picked our beers from the chalkboard menu, ordered them, he poured 'em, and then pushed them over to us with an empty, emotionless stare. I didn't get it. We just looked like normal people, not the Addams family. Why the random unfriendly attitudes? It didn't matter how kind or full of smiles we were, it was like our very presence was an insult to the establishment. Geez, sorry we were trying to give you our money. We promise not to bother you again.

This town is super friendly and this place is no exception. The service was spot on. The food was awesome. My wife was not very hungry so we spilt a French Dip with onion rings. We both got our own plate, read this tip on one of the other review. The onion rings were prefect just the way I like them, thin and crispy. The selection of craft beers is great. My wife and I had different types and both were great. If you ever find yourself in Sidney MT, you need to check this place out!!!

It was late (for dinner, around 915p) & we were all tired and hungry. The location and entrance are awkward. Still, we pressed on. The atmosphere is very bar typical. We snagged a table- maybe it was self-seat, maybe it wasn't, either way we did. There was 1 low table and my father has mobility issues, so we snagged it. They had started cleaning it and hadn't finished. I started cleaning it off, I didn't get very far before a very nice young lady took over. She gave us menus, took our drink order, then advised us the grill closed at 9pm, despite the check-in guy & menu at the hotel saying 10pm, only fried food available. I wanted a cobb salad, turns out those were available too. Portions were huge. I ate less than half. Fish and chips were rated as around 3 star by my husband. The salad was good: perfect avocado, crisp greens, big chunks of cheese, tho I could have skipped the chicken. The gal working was as nice as could be. Sje was tolerant, patient and understanding. She went out of her way to make sure that we were not only satisfied with the food, but comped for our expectations not being met. I NEVER ask for, or imply I deserve compensation. I just pay and write my review accordingly. I put the discount into the tip as this gal really did go out of her way. She was fantastic!
