The Houston Mill Rd location in Druid Hills is by far the best location I have ever visited. I came in distraught with tears of frustration in my eyes. I also left with tears but this time they were tears of relief and gratitude. The hopefully "soon to be" branch manager listened intently to my situation. She did all the authorizations as required, without even a moments hesitation, to insure my needs were met. Now that's what being a banker is all about. All of the ladies I encountered there were truly blessings and a ray of sunshine on an otherwise glum day. I'm happy to say we finally found our home branch (although we live across town).

My last visit, I was in need of cash and didn't have the usual suspects on hand (ATM card, ID). The super helpful teller helped me out since I luckily had a few alternative bank things and IDs on me, and I was able to walk out with money. The ATM wishes you a happy birthday during your birthday month, and the teller also told me this during the aforementioned transaction. That's nice. Always ample parking, close to the Emory/CDC. Their 24-hour online banking is anything but 24 hours. Almost every night, I'm unable to transfer…read morefunds from one DCCU account to another. Depositing is no problem. Then, at 6 am, all pending and other incoming deductions are taken out, and if there are insufficient funds, due to being unable to make any transfers at night, they start adding fees for every failed transaction. Now you have to call them to let them know that you weren't able to transfer, and then they will reverse all fees. I was told by a customer service rep, that's why when you call in, they reverse the fees. What kind of backward system is that? Instead of simply being able to transfer money into my account myself, I have to go through this all the time. They were great for auto loans, but that's about it. For online banking not to be available every night for about 5-8 hours is not a reasonable amount of time.
