Not happy. I have had very little interaction with them prior and assumed it was a…read moremisunderstanding. The online chat with Andrew was less than helpful; he didn't have any answers. I was being charged $15/month (bad address fee) since March with no notification from SCFCU. The address (primary was used to open the account) however, they sent mail to a secondary address where I haven't lived for 13+ years. I'm not sure why they even have that address; I financed my present home thru SCFCU. They obviously know that I moved. Additionally, I got a "dormant account fee" for the account even though I have had a monthly ACH transfer to the account since 2018. I'm a member since 1970; but not much longer. Their service is terrible; do you think anyone on their end is reading these complaints and fixing things??? Doubtful!

Everyone should seriously go in to this location for any BOA needs they have! Certainly beats the lack of personality and round abouts of working online. The initial reason for the visit (opening a Roth IRA account) is on me, as I didn't schedule an appointment days in advance. I was told by a representative on the phone that there were two IRA specialists available here, and that I could be seen within the hour. This turned out to be false, I don't hold that against the North Charleston location. However, the lady working the front podium relayed this information very poorly. She was very rude, and was even conversing with another person, while she was supposed to be assisting me. When I tried to walk away (because her attention was on someone else, when it should've been on me), she called me back, and spoke to me like I was an idiot. So, I was given false information by the representative, and then I was treated like I was dumb by the individual on site in North Charleston. Again, this is very unlike Navy Federal generally speaking. I was very surprised, and disappointed today.
