We had out front porch and garage floor coated. Everything about this company was excellent! They communicate well, they show up on time, their concrete technicians worky VERY hard and are VERY meticulous. They take the necessary time to prepare the concrete for the coatings - heavy grinding machines and a lot of hand grinding. I will not hesitate to use this company again. read more

SWIS specializes in excellence and we are grateful for good work performed for us the past two years that has really helped us. They deserve 5 stars, but because of demand (no fault of theirs), they are usually booked out several months. It is frustrating when you need something sooner than 5 months and they can't commit to doing any better. They have on our last job request made an extra effort to get out sooner, and we greatly appreciated that an Ice Dam was installed before the first snow! SWIS Team Members are always cordial and professional. If only they could expand, but perhaps market timing is not right for that right now. There is no better in the Animas Valley/Durango that we know of and look forward to working with them again in the future! read more

I called this company (SWIS) and told them I needed a 30' gutter and down spout. They told me I had to make an appointment for the estimator to come out. I made the appointment, which was 3 weeks out. When they came out they didn't even bring a ladder to go up on the 2nd floor roof to measure. I explained that I was going to put heat cable in myself after the gutter & down spout had been installed. They preceded to tell me they can't do the down spout if I don't let them do the heat cable. I said seriously? He stated yes that's their policy. Who does a gutter without a down spout???. Could have told me when I made the appointment, considering I explicitly told the exactly what I needed! I told them to leave! read more

Very upfront and to the point. Our gutters were in need of repair before installing the Gutter Helmet. That was all included as well as cleaning and flushing out the gutters. The workers were great. They were respectful and efficient taking little more than half a day to do our large 3-story house. Billing was simple and done over the Internet. He and his crew from Southwest Gutter installed a new gutter and down spouts that function as intended. To top it off, he installed the Gutter Helmet system, so no more plugged up gutters! We have had a horrible experience with Bob regarding installation of gutter guards and heat wire to prevent ice damns. We gave 50% upfront and had to wait 6 months for installation. When the gutter guards were installed, the installation team left the debris from cleaning our gutters all over the yard. The heat system still does not work and the plan they worked out without our knowledge, was to wire into existing outlets that were not even checked to see if they were working or could support the demands of the system. We have spent $12,000 and still do not have a working heat system on our roof. Our attempts to get Bob to respond have not gone well and he has been difficult at best in offering to finish the work at our cost to make this system work. Maybe the gutter guards keep you from further gutter cleaning, but I do not recommend the installation of a heating system through SWIS. read more
