I wasn't sure if the company was still making the material. I spoke w a woman named Lexi. She said she would get back w me. I called again with the square footage of my room and left the information with the woman who answered the phone. I didn't hear back that week and called again on October 23. I was told that the info was in Lexi's email and that Lexi was "on a well deserved vacation" and was off for her sons birthday. I asked when I should call back. The woman told me "like I said Monday the 31st" (FYI..she never said a date. Just said she was off). I called yesterday, November 3, giving Lexi some time to catch up after her vacation. She answered the phone and asked what I needed. So I went through the whole story. She told me she left me a voicemail (if she did, she left it on wrong number, I have no history of a missed call or of a voicemail from her). She told me the material is discontinued. I asked for the name of my product. She didn't want to look it up. But finally did. And I asked her for the company's phone number (I figured they might know where else I could get something like this or mill it for me...because she suggested they may), she said "you can Google it". I said, no, you can give it to me....she hung up on me. I did call back to talk to a manager and was sent to their normal voicemail. It was approximately 8k worth of hard wood that apparently she didn't want to sell me for some reason. I called the manufacturer and was told that in fact this was not discontinued, they re-mill it all of the time and that they have 8,000 square feet in their warehouse. I called 2 other vendors to check prices and "miracle" they found it and quoted me on the phone right then. So run away from this place. Do not use them.

Dylan Trinh's detailed explanation regarding their refinishing process was the deciding factor in choosing Trinh's. To be honest, I was not impressed when we first saw the building and even less impressed when Dylan opened the overhead door to their "storage" area. No worries. Dylan carefully explained what he would do and it is clear that he knows what he's talking about. Six days later, one day sooner than hoped, we picked up our furniture. Absolutely gorgeous! This matching set actually matches again; no more sun faded surfaces, no more dings or scratches. They even did a few extra things because they weren't satisfied with the initial result, but still honored their estimate. I highly recommend this business!

Issues include: messing up the counters during cutting three times and telling us to pick a new countertop or get a refund. Poor install job. Poor cutout for the sink install. We even emailed them and told them we didn't want one. When they measured for the countertops, they told me the contractor said we wanted the backsplash. NOT true at all! The contractor is my brother and he said the only thing he said to them was "hi". Seems as if they are trying to sell you more but do less work. Fingers are crossed nothing happens to the counters, because I would hate to deal with Granite Works again.
