Lots of benches and even little book stations. Just can't stand when people don't pickup after their pets poop. I jogged here and it was approximately under 2 miles. My only complaints were not about the park, but the volume of traffic and how absolutely no one was wearing a mask during these times of covid! Further up there is also a freshly painted half basketball court. The main attraction may be considered to be a small lake with a few ducks in it and a fountain- not so much of an attraction for me. The long walk path is suitable for joggers/walkers. I recommend taking along some bug spray.

Plus, 3 laps = 1 mile, which makes running/walking go by much "quicker" given the typical ratio is 4 laps/1 mile. There are also three picnic tables spread through out as well as many benches along the trail, which is completely paved and the width of an average sidewalk.

If you want to venture off the path, you'll find the creek here with some land area to get an overview of the water. The landscaping done for it is well-kept. The trails are also well-kept although don't be surprised if you find some debris and trash floating around on the grounds and the trail. Seems like it's gotten worse over the past few years. It's a shame as this area provides lovely views during nature walks when the sun is out and the breeze is blowing at a lovely pace. In addition, there is a playground and a softball/baseball diamond tucked here. You'll hear the sounds of bats connecting with balls and kids shouting since baseball games are played here often.

But I think it's lovely and I also use the bike route through the greenway to get to campus. If I had one main critique it's that I would like to see the trails cleaned up more often, the overgrowth has been an issue with the weird rain spell this year.

Traffic flow and management never seemed to be an issue, as roads and roundabouts are thoughtfully engineered. The soccer fields feature really nice grass and level, good quality playing surfaces. The turf fields were in good shape, and it was brilliant to have my son's games continue despite 2 inches of rain the night before. I can't speak for the restrooms or concessions, but the park itself works great for soccer, and we enjoyed our visit.

The mayor nor College station PD has done anything to stop them from tearing up a park that was dedicated to the men and woman who fought for this country! The parking lots are covered in tire tracks and the trash everywhere is gross! Sad to see NOONE gives a crap! I used to feel safe in this park but when the car club is tearing it up they will try and run you over while your crossing on a crosswalk on purpose, they pee out in the open so people can see, they toss their trash in the grass and in the parking lots including glass and just speed through and tear up the entire park and they harass the elderly that use that park to exercise! Again this was a park dedicated to veterans and to see it spit all over is sad. College station should do better

(From February 2025)…read more No one has reviewed this illustrious trail? Well let me be the first! I found this driving along Booneville road, noticing the parking lot and a trail. Stopping here afterwards, I was pleased that the trail goes through the Hudson neighborhood and connects with Tiffany Park along with Copperfield Lane. Plenty of trees and the landscape of homes give a nice view as you cut through the neighborhood. Also the trail is well-kept and covers a good amount of ground. Great for dog walking/jogging. Another great one in Bryan/CC!
