Can feel like the weight of the world just fell on you and then you're forced to find a nearby solution but gotta say: Richard and Big Tows not only offers that affordable solution but more importantly; a savior! My very best employee, who also happens to be the youngest, just began working for the company and within the first month of his start date he was forced to call me and regret to inform me that he would not be able to make it into work which of course I was very frustrated to learn but then he told me that he was stuck on the side of the road because he was actually already on his way to work (early) and had a serious [scary] break down so then my frustration immediately shifted into concern for him and I asked if he was okay and if there was something I could do to help which of course he said he was fine and that it was his to figure out but I pulled the "boss" card and insisted but he explained "there is no way you'll be able to find someone to come out here in the middle of the highway nowhere near either nearby city and especially not at this hour before 0600 am!" And at that point I even lost hope, especially after trying to make some calls to find someone but then I stumbled across Big Tows and the rest is history! Richard made the entire process so very easy and was able to locate the vehicle even with our limited description and he just put us both at ease; not only offering clear expertise throughout the entire process but did so with a smile and genuine friendliness that was so very needed in that moment. So fast forward two years and of course that "new" employee now runs the show and he's not just an employee anymore but now considered family and honestly I gotta say the same for Richard and Big Tows because they have been our "go to" every single time we're in need and not only just once or twice but nearly a dozen times across multiple vehicles and multiple people we have sent their way but every single time they show up its always just like that very first time: truly a Godsend offering the very best service without the outrageous price tag; you have to give them a call and you'll be singing their praises just as much as we do!

Her Toyota Highlander has been great and reliable transportation for her and her music equipment... until last night. On her way home (Dickinson area) from a gig in Palacios TX, she had an electrical system malfunction, that resulted in the motor dying (among other things). Thankfully, the band leader and his wife were there to park behind her and push her car off to the side, out of the lane of traffic. The first tow company they called was unavailable, but they recommended Richard Valdez of Big Tows who thankfully was on duty and available. He was there in less than 10 minutes, had her loaded on his heavy-duty flatbed quickly and began the 98 mile (per Google) trip toward home. I can't even adequately express how grateful we all were to find Richard and Big Tow. Getting to know him personally was even better. My wife said on the phone that he was extremely kind, reassuring and immediately got her into his cab out of the night air and potential traffic danger. Once they were here at our house, I found out everything she said was true; friendly, funny, professional and very fair. I could go on longer, but to conclude, if I lived ANYWHERE near El Campo and needed a tow at any time of night or day, I would absolutely call Richard first (uploaded a pic of his business card). And, even though we live about a hundred miles from there, I guarantee he will be our first call if we ever need a tow anywhere, because you never know if he might be available. This husband is so very grateful to Richard for being so kind and reassuring to my wife, who was experiencing her first breakdown, at night, in unfamiliar territory. Then no one would answer my calls. After multiple calls and texts the tow truck driver finally text back and said I needed to contact dispatch because they were going to dispatch someone else. Please don't waste your time. After working 12 hours no one wants to deal with an unreliable company or spend their hard earned money.

Quick and efficient load up of my lowered and modified car. He took me back into Houston so I could get my tire replaced. Coming from someone with many cars and all of them modified, I'm very familiar with towing. Hands down the best service I've ever had.

While the tow to the nearest dealership was about 20-30 miles (Brenham) they offered a more than fair price for the service. This recommendation turned out to be very good as the engine block had split due to a design issue and only a dealer could work with me and FCA corporate to figure out a goodwill settlement on the cost of a new engine. The service was also incredibly patient and helpful as my wife was 7 months pregnant at the time and was in the car with my mother-in-law, my daughter and had just picked up her mother-in-law's terminally diagnosed dog. Needless to say, Crosby towing was the one bright spot in an otherwise crappy day!

My other options were towing the vehicle to a Ford dealership in Victoria or to an ACE Hardware in Bay City from Matagorda. My insurance company told me that they had called over 30 locksmiths in the area, and he was the only one willing to conduct travelling key making/programming. The expertise and willingness to help saved me time and countless additional stresses. I was in a single car accident on 1/31/22 they picked my car up and towed it to their storage lot…read morein Splendora. Well when you put the address in the GPS that is on the business card there is no tow yard there. They have the tow yard/ fence and office on the same property as Creekside Off-road Ranch. I called my insurance company on 2/1/22 to file my claim and they told me to call the collision company that is going to fix my car that someone will be towing my car to them to look at for an adjustment quote. They told me my insurance company will send someone out to get my car and thati will need to call the tow company to let them know someone will be out there to get my car and take it to the collision center. So I called them and gave them my verbal consent over the phone about insurance sending out a vendor to get my car they tell me ok. I call the tow company on 2/3/22 to see if my car was ever picked up by the vendor and it was still at thier lot . So i called my insurance company back on 2/3/22 they told me they were waiting for the fees to be paid to the vendor and there were going to expedite the process. I called back on 2/7/22 to the tow yard about my car and to my disbelief my car was still there so I called my insurance company again was other phone with them for over 45 minutes trying to figure out what the hell was going on with my car still being at the tow yard. Insurance said they were still waiting for fees to be paid to vendor and that the tow yard needed my verbal consent yet AGAIN to release my car. Well here it is 2/9/22 the collision company calls me to see where my car is because they haven't received it yet. I called my insurance company immediately to see what is going on and they tell me the vendor called them several times to arrange for pickup on 2/7/22 and the tow company wasn't answering
