It took over 3 months to actually complete the project, with constant confusion over who was the correct contact person. I thought they did a good job initially, however within 1 month, the door had already cracked in three places. After spending close to $3000 for their work, I am fairly disappointed in the final product and the overall process.

I decided on using them and they did a professional job and provided detailed pictures of the work being done so I would have visual evidence for my insurance company. I recommend them. They do accept credit cards but pass on the four percent charge to customers. And they take checks. One thing you also need to understand, all of this was done basically by remote control. I left for FL to have an operation and these guys kept me updated. You might think there is better but I doubt it. So pleased. Added a few photographs of work being completed. You can see the job being done. My insurance adjuster was surprised that a company provided their client ongoing photographic proof of the job being done. buyer beware of commercial roof usa and any roofing company owned and/or operated by naas ferreira…read more in august 2024, a court in connecticut found that commercial roof usa ("commercial roof"), owned/operated by naas ferreira, acted negligently, fraudulently, and in breach of contract with respect to its business operations and work performed for our brooklyn, n.y., coop and entered judgment against commercial roof in the amount of almost $5,000, to cover all losses we suffered as a result of commercial roof's unlawful conduct. the specifics are as followed: * commercial roof usa refused to honor its written, express 20-year warranty to repair damage to our roof caused by a bad thunderstorm. * we discovered, after the fact, that commercial roof usa was not even registered to do business in the state of new york, as it represented. * a reputable roofer we had to hire to repair the damage to our roof found multiple problems directly caused by commericial roof's poor workmanship and negligence. * our coop sued commercial roof and eventually won the suit with the findings and judgment noted above. commercial roof has not paid the judgment, as ordered by the court, and, thus, is in contempt of court. we post this warning because we do not want anyone else to be the victim of commercial roof's and/or naas ferreira's unlawful and unprofessional practices and conduct. buyer beware!

I live in a Brooklyn Brownstone apartment with a flat roof that has been leaking. Multiple prior roofers evaluated the leak and a new roof membrane was placed, however, the problem persists. To make things more complicated there is now a roof deck above the new roof membrane. Desperate to find someone that could help me find and repair the leak, I scoured the internet and came across Commercial Roof USA and Naas Ferreira. They had previously received wonderful recommendations in the Brownstone forums. I spoke with Naas directly. He could not have been more helpful on the phone and made it clear he was always available. His business is family owned. He sent his sons Erik and Sven to check my roof. They could not have been nicer, more professional or more honest. Erik crawled around under my deck and evaluated every inch of the roof to look for problems. He found several spots on the flashing of the new roof that were the likely culprits. Needless to say, this job would have been much easier if there was not a roof deck, but Erik was determined to do all in his power to not damage anything unnecessarily. More work will be needed, but I won't let any other roofer near my roof deck other than Naas and his sons. I had a hard time getting receipts for permits I paid for but the owner was always at my house for checks to get paid. Cashed them immediately! The quality of work, initially I gave them photos of what I wanted, they changed the design & told me after they started the change & really at the point it was too late to make changes! I like the projects, not love either as it wasn't what I wanted! Not what I requested, gave them photos before? One of the posts on the stairs was not fastened down, he had to come back, also pencil marks, large all over stairs. I found trash under the deck & all over my project area despite putting a trash container at the site. I had to clean up daily their trash, bottles, tools. They TOOK the leftover wood from the project, that I paid for, without asking! I gave this company food & a bonus at the end, that was before I found the trash under the deck & realized they took the supplies that belonged to me!
