Wow. Why didn't I read the reviews? The team put the fence up quickly and it looked okay. After a few days I could see that the fence was leaning and not securely installed. Then the gate sagged and didn't close right. After several unanswered calls I needed to pay another installer to come in and fix the job. Shame on me for not reading the reviews first! Everyone's right. He's quick to book an appt to come out and give you a quote and once the job is done take your money. If there are any issues he's a ghost! I had a fence installed around my pool in 7/2022. The inspection guy came out and said one section of the fence there was a gap too wide and failed me. Also some of the bolts were loose and the gate didn't close properly. I tried to reach out several times with no luck. Was very happy with how responsive they were when we were looking to have a new fence installed. They completed the work for a reasonable price and the installation team did a great job. I was therefore very surprised, and extremely disappointed, in their lack of responsiveness when one of the new gates would not latch properly after installation. I contacted the company, and then tried for weeks to get any response. When I did, the response, was that they were too busy and couldn't address the issue for several more weeks. I asked if it was a repair that I could do myself and again, after weeks, no response. I'll have to figure it out myself. Extremely difficult to work with, HORRIBLE communication & very poor quality installation ie: left significant gap between ground and bottom of fence which allowed my large hound dog to repeatedly get loose (the main reason for the fence!), but which wasn't visible until months after the installation in the fall/winter when dense bushes died back revealing the gap. Refused to respond to multiple calls, text messages & email in an effort to get someone to come out to repair a separate section of fence where the bottom tension wire broke. Sure they'll respond quickly to give you an estimate, but after they get your business and $$, good luck. Honestly hard to believe they are even still in business, and no surprise why they have such a poor rating! Would have been no stars except couldn't post review without at least one. read more

Warning!!! I had contracted this company to install a white plastic fence on my backyard. The owner came, and was explained what I needed, he agreed, and several days later 3 Spanish kids that spoke no English, show up while I was still in bed. They began the work without notifying me. I decided to go out to see how they were proceeding, and noticed that they were installing the entire fence in the wrong place, I tried to tell them that wasn't what I had wanted. One of the worker had to call his wife that spoke English to communicate, when asked why aren't they calling the owner, so I could speak directly to him, they told me that he was on vacation. Days later, the owner showed up and went on to tell me that it was my responsibility to tell them where to place the fence. When they came back, they tried to fix it, but the entire fence was installed wrong. Many gaps between the gates, some of the panels were 8" to 10" off the ground a gap large enough for animals to get through, and the entire fence was not in a straight line, but crooked. Mark and his team did a great job of installing the fence in a day at our home. Their price was competitive and work quality solid. However, getting in touch if there is a problem after payment has occurred has been a nightmare. Much to Mark's credit he followed up with me right after the fence was installed (before the final payment) and I identified a problem which was the end of the fence against my house was against a window that made it so it couldn't be opened (not sure why this wasn't questioned when it was first installed). Within a week this was addressed however instead of doing a quality repair the team merely moved one of the posts so it is now at an odd angle and not square. I have been waiting to put in a deck while trying to get this fixed as this be quite aesthetically unappealing with an unsquare deck and fence. My wife and I called and texted the owner and the business leaving messages over several months. The messages at the business were never returned but a few of the text messages were. Someone from his team did come out after several months and fix the latch on the gate that made it very difficult to open and close it, however, this took repeated follow-up and the problem of the crooked fence was never addressed. I wish I could rate their work, but I was told that they couldn't do my fence repair job because it was too small. That's unfortunate because I would like to replace the fence at some point and they just lost a potential customer. Wouldn't recommend. We signed a contact in early June, 90% of the fence was delivered three weeks later, the rest of it never showed. Not Discount Fence's fault the fence was on backorder; however, I had to reach out to them MULTIPLE times to even get an estimate on when we may see the rest of the fence. Kept putting us off and had to chase down many many times. When they finally said that we wouldn't be seeing it until late fall, they offered to install a wood fence. They ended up saying they would charge $900 more than originally quoted. I said it would be "basic customer service" to keep it at the original quote after months of waiting and Mark said "good thing I'm not in customer service." Overall, zero communication. While I know fences are in high demand right now, would have expected a better experience. Didn't end up trusting them in the end. read more

We had our fence installed last summer. Recently a portion of the fence is swaying back and forth in heavy winds. We have called 4 times now to have the fence repaired; each time being told someone will be here the following day... so far no one has shown up or called to give an explanation of why they haven't shown. I hired them afew years ago. The job was of a poor quality and had to replace posts shortly after, this fence has a half of fence life compared to what it should have lasted. Upon replacing posts it came to light ,They only dug them 2 feet down into the ground! I had a bad feeling as soon as the job started. It looked shoddy upon completion , complaints went unresolved and the current professional fence installers definitely have had nothing good to say about the fence, quality or the installation of it. I have been extremely disappointed with both the customer service and the quality of work. Great salesman! Once they get your bid and deposit you are treated very differently. From showing up weeks late, to poor quality work, (wobbly deer fence, so loose, poles falling over, ) and most importantly the fence is NOT EVEN CLOSE to being flush to the ground. They came back once to repair it when I complained, but instead of doing it properly, they piled up dirt, rocks and attempted to wire it to the ground and used rocks and boulders to try and fix holes in the wooden fence. I paid over 11,000 for a fence that does not keep my dogs in or deers out. I was so overcharged for a product that is not doing what they said it would. I got an estimate to fix their inconsistent install of $1,000. I emailed Marc and he did not respond until I emailed over and over.. Started out great! They came on time, installed the fence and even came back and replaced some split boards. Then I paid them the final payment and I've been ghosted. They never answer the phone nor do they return calls. The three gates they fabricated from fence panels started warping almost immediately and now I can't open the gate on my driveway. The warping is so bad I am afraid my little dogs are going to walk right thru it. After finally threatening Mark with this review he finally responded to my texts. This time he said they ordered new gates for me? Confusing since the gates they installed were made from fence panels!!. I was way more than patient. I had listened to a friend of mine and hired this Company... worst decision I have ever made. They are very unprofessional, unreliable, no communications whatsoever. Mark, the owner, is an extremely deceptive guy. He is pleasant and prompt with estimate but good luck getting in touch with him once his workers begin the job. He ignores texts, phone calls and his office is seemingly non-existent. He seems to rapidly change his tone and become condescending when talking with woman. Scheduling means very little to Mark and he will pull "No-shows" when he feels and then talk down to the person challenging him. Extremely unpleasant person to deal with and it would be wiser to pay a few extra dollars and get a more consistent company that actually worries about customer feedback. read more

We got a quote for a fence; and it was the cheapest quote around by far. Despite some concerns over customers saying lack of call back; we called our sales person to place the order, and upgrade to a privacy fence in front. We never heard back, so we gave him a call back two days later; figuring its summer and he could be busy. Not a peep! We ended up going elsewhere. We cant speak to the quality of fence that Discount Provides, but the complaints about lack of follow up and follow through seem to be real. RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN! This company is horrible. You will be getting a faulty installation and subpar materials. The fence was installed last year and is hanging by toothpicks. The wood is the lowest quality cedar. There are holes in the fence and the seams are splitting. The cement did not set properly so the posts were not set right. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. They only return calls when they start the project. I left several calls complaining about the fence and they do not return them. I finally got someone on the phone and the guy actually hung up on me! I worked in a service business years ago and you never treat customers that way. If I could give a 0, I would. Horrendous Experience. I paid my bill and then went back to take the measurements of my fence and they were $900 worth shorter than he had on paper. He refunded the $ shortly after. Upon further review I found that parts of the door had been hammered together using scrap wood so I had to have him come back and re-do it. Then, the poles holding the fence doors were not strong enough to hold up the doors so he said he'll have someone re-do it. After 100 texts and phone calls he has yet to come through on this. After speaking to another contractor in the area he said that Mark Pucci is notorious for cutting corners. F- DO NOT Get In to this nightmare. read more

We had a fence installed last year and the workers were going very fast. Then we noticed the gate was too narrow. They only had enough material to make it barely big enough for my tractor to pass. We also had a coupon for light caps on all the posts. Mark Pucci offered us a discount if we just put the caps on the gates. We agreed and made the mistake of paying before he got them to us. Now, dozens of calls and emails later we have nothing. At first Mark kept saying he was coming and never showed. Now he just doesn't respond anymore. The fence looked great and DJ, the sales person was good too. The issue was the start date and expectations. I actually took a day off work to be at home to watch their work. They called after they were supposed to arrive and let me know they switched the day to the next day, Wednesday. They had also called on the Friday before and confirmed the time. I know these things change...but I feel they definitely could've given more notice. They even agreed with me on that point, but were willing to do nothing to make it right. We had our fence installed last year and the whole process was great. Then earlier this year we had some trees fall on the fence, requiring three new panels and a new post. They cane for the estimate in March and it has been radio silence since. My husband and I have contacted them repeated via email and phone. The one time I actually spoke to someone, he said they would come in a couple of weeks. That was at least a month ago. At this point, we just want to know if they are coming AT ALL.
