I wanted to give a better review to this spa as I have been to Spa Asiana before to get my eyebrows threaded and found they did a great job. So when I saw they did pedicures (and I get them every 6 weeks generally) and had a spot open on Saturday, I booked it! The online booking is easy to use which is great. Once I actually got to the salon however things did not go so well. There was no friendly welcome and instead an awkward smile with no real greeting. Once I stated why I was there, they got the chair ready for me and I got to pick my colour. Whenever I've gone to a Spa and paid more then 35 dollars for a pedicure, I've always been offered refreshments so I found it a little odd when this spa did not, however that is not a reason I would give them a lower review. As the pedicure continues things got a bit worse. When my feet were being scrubbed, I found that the esthetician went too hard and I wasn't able to put pressure on my heels making it difficult to walk. I've never had a lot of dead skin on the heels of my feet so I was surprised she was going harder on it but I figured they can see me more then myself. However I was wrong as I was in a lot of pain after trying to walk the rest of the day and I have a fairly high pain tolerance. There were also one of the workers kids there. Normally I do not have a problem with kids being in a spa especially as I understand child care can be difficult to find or things come up. But once again as the pedicure continued, it got less enjoyable. The kids were running around and making lots of noise, which normally I wouldn't be bothered by but when I'm paying 50 dollars plus tip for a pedicure, it should be relaxing. The child also started to bother the esthetician working on me (who I think may have been her mother) which made it hard to not mess up on my pedicure and really pay attention to what she was doing. I felt her time was being wasted with me there and she should really be paying attention to the child. The child later also lost the colour of polish that I was to have (it was later found but I had already decided on a different colour). Once again just making things a bit more difficult and making me feel as though I should have not come in. I'd like to state that I was the only person in the salon at that time. Once the esthetician removed my toe separators she screwed up the big toe. So she tried to redo it a couple of times but it didn't turn out okay at all. At this point, I didn't want to say anything as she tried a few times and I really felt they were trying to rush through me so they could close and leave. I am unfortunately disappointed at the outcome especially as 50 dollars plus tip is a lot to spend on a pedicure that was already ruined before I left the spa. I do not think I would recommend this Spa for pedicures. read more

They do excellent threading, which is more precise than waxing, particularly around the eyebrows. They do all spa services, including hair and skin care. Prices are reasonable and they have monthly specials. For example, one month might be a manicure and pedicure for $35. Check the website for promotions. The spa is just west of downtown; you could easily walk there for a lunchtime appointment. There is a private parking lot. read more

I heard about Sukh and Spa Asiana from several friends who all highly recommended her services. When my favourite shop sold to new owners I thought I would give Sukh a try and have not been disappointed. She loves her customers and is proud of her shop and her work. She has a big personality, which I love because she is so genuine. Other reviewers have complained that they had to wait at times - I have waited once, out of probably 8-10 visits. It happens! It isn't ideal, but it is a small business and at times the schedule has to be flexible. I love her threading! My brows look awesome! I have done 4 treatments of IPL hair removal and can not be happier!! My results are fantastic! It's not a fancy shop, but it gets the job done and the prices are very fair. This was my go-to place in London for years when it came to getting threading done. They have great skill when it comes to threading, hence why I have given them two stars. I arrived three minutes late due to traffic at the intersection in front of the store. I was "greeted" by a younger woman who had her arms crossed and did not even communicate with me at all during my time there. The older woman who did my brows was threading another customer when I walked in. I explained why I was late and apologized. She told me to have a seat, she was finishing up the other client. The seat beside the client she was working on has the clients purse and keys in it. I was not going to interrupt the threading service to have it moved. I then went to the other open chair. After the older woman was done threading the client she called me over to the seat beside the one she was just working in. She then tells me 'it's not complicated dear'. This was in reference to me not sitting in this seat to begin with. I politely pointed out the belongings in the chair, that is why I originally did not sit there. The older woman doing the service was not apologetic in her comment when realizing the seat I was to sit in had another clients personal belongings in it. She said 'We could have moved that.' To me, it felt rude to interrupt the service being given to the client when there was an open chair available. She did a great job with the threading service received. However, she did not brush off any of the excess hair or apply lotion after the threading was finished. I am hoping this was just an off day for the pair working but to treat customers in that manner is uncalled for. Kindness and customer care could go a long way when working with clients. read more

This is the best place to go in London! I have been to multiple spas and places to have eyebrows, waxing, Brazilians, threading....and this is hands down the best place in London! Sukh and Rosie are amazing at threading! I won't let anyone else touch my eyebrows. I have had multiple services done there including the hydro oxygen combined facial... which left my skin looking 5 years younger, and today the 3DiBrows and these ladies are the best in the business. They make you feel welcome and are the best at what they do! Love this place and will not go anywhere else. read more

I made a spontaneous trip to Canada to visit a friend and knew I had a day free. I've always wanted to try lash extensions so I figured I'll give it a go. I booked an appointment with basically two days notice and got a response right away! When I went in, the space was really clean and open. I was greeted right away and given a room. The technician, I'm so sorry I didn't get her name, but she was so patient and so gentle. I could not had asked for a better experience. She was very thorough as well and made sure I felt comfortable the whole time. I just left the salon and I cannot be happier with everything. They feel so natural and look so natural too. This was the worst experience I've ever had. I had my eyebrows threaded here once before and it seemed okay so I decided to come back for a haircut, brow thread and French manicure for graduation and needless to say it was the worst mistake of my life. Half of my right brow is completely gone and the other one is completely unshaped and uneven.. She cut my hair from a side part to a middle part that I did not ask for and the layers I did ask for don't even frame my face. She didn't even manicure my nails or take my old nail polish off before she started and then had to glue sequins on my nail in a desperate attempt to cover the very visible nail polish beneath the saddest French. Completely untrained and unsterile as I left with a splinter in my finger from a fragment of the nail tip she cut. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY REASON!!!!! read more

Please don't go to this place if you're looking for a good customer service and good service in general. I've been going there for 3 years but I can't remember a time that I left Spa Asiana 100% satisfied. If the aesthetician wasn't on her cell phone talking loud and having me waiting there while she was chatting about personal matter she would do my everybrow and chat at the same time (talk about being polite and caring about your clients agenda). I was trying to give them a chance after chance since I'm from Toronto and I don't know a eyevebrow treading place there as for Spa asiana a family friend reffered to me in the past. So every time I'd come to London to visit family and friends I'd go there to get my eyebrows done, but today, today was definitely the last time ever. First when you get there even with an appointment booked you always have to wait until the aesthetician finsihes her chattings or whatever is more important than her clients, second because last time I was there she offered me a new service they're doing a eyevebrow microblading. Which I'd never trust that place to do such a service. Anyways I'd say oh nice I'll think about it. Until I noticed what she did today was the most unprofessional thing she could've done. My eyebrows don't really grow full and nice so any extra treading is pretty dangerous in my case since I could end up with no eyebrows or a super thin one. She over did mine so I apparently would do the stupid service she kept trying to sell me. This was the end! I left there once again pretty upset and with a very thin eyebrow. And I'll never come back again and I'd highly recommended for you to stay away from this place. read more

I went in to get my nails done and not sure if it was the owner but person who attended me was trying to impose her way rather than listening to me as to what I wanted. Finally when she did the nails, she did a terrible job by leaving my nails looking like I've had them done for two weeks (not a fresh look) and the corners were not completely filled in with nail polish. Lastly, what bother me the most is that she kept pointing out the flaws with my nails...I am in the process of growing them since I am trying to get rid of the habit of biting them and getting them done helps, so the fact that she kept saying negative things as she was doing my nails really turned me off. I have been going here for years- the threading is really good, and priced well. Waxing is decent. I always book an appt and plan to wait 20 min. Today I came in for a Brazilian wax, and ended up waiting over 40 min. Not only was I waiting a long time, the owner was very loud and announced TWICE that I was waiting for a Brazilian, in a room with 5 other people waiting. How embarrassing! I don't want strangers to know what's going on under my clothes. After 40+ minutes, feeling embarrassed and angry, at the end of my half day off work, I had to leave without service in order to get to work on time. I will never come back. read more
