It's quick enough to do during my lunch break. The Cyrotherapy takes 3 minutes maximum and is followed by Normatec arm of leg compressions for 30 minutes. The changing rooms are always clean. And organized with robes, gloves, socks, and booties. Just make sure to avoid any metal (ie. bra underwire) during Cyrotherapy. I love doing Cyrotherapy after a tough gym session or football game. It definitely helps with soreness, circulation, and any inflammation. And the fact that it can burn 500-800 calories is a definite plus! I always feel great after though my husband has had some side effects like hunger, excessive thirst, and sleepiness. The owner, Dan is always friendly and informative. He's accommodating and has squeezed me in on same day appointments. It's also easy to book sessions online.

The suit you wear fills with air and adds pressure in a rolling wave from the upper to lower part of your body. It can be a little tight on the feet so be aware. Other than that, you have a 1/2 hour of uninterrupted quiet or a calming music selection to give you the time to pray, meditate and focus on you and your concerns. The facility is bright, well lit and clean. The location is easy to find with free on-site parking, but there is a lot of construction there and is difficult to get into right now.

To schedule an appointment, I simply called their main number and able to schedule my appointment the day of. Not sure if they accept walk-ins but it's always best to schedule in advance. Pro-Tip- scheduling an appointment in advance makes you appear like VIP member. Most times, you are greeted upon arrival and it's lessens wait time. Anyway, I filled out a waiver form to ensure my body would be able to handle the frigid elements which is standard. Then I was taken to the back to strip down. I was given a park of thick socks, Ugg's, gloves and knee warmers (although I didn't use them) to prepare myself. As a man, I kept my undies on and hopped into the chamber. Once inside, the temp ended up getting to -250 and I stayed inside for 3 mins. Let me tell you, ITS WAS COLD! Once outside, my body immediately felt better and soreness seemed to decrease. Let's start with the teeth. About a month ago I decided to finally splurge and go to my dentist for teeth whitening. It was $500, but I'm getting married so I thought why not. It took an hour, was extremely painful and barely made a difference. I then decided to try it at cryomist on a whim and in 15 minutes my teeth were white (but still looked natural) and had NO PAIN! And I have extremely sensitive teeth so this was pretty surprising. I then couldn't resist trying CryoTherapy because I've been hearing so many amazing things about it. I'm not gonna lie... it was FREEZING, but Jen talks you through the entire 3 minute process which kept me distracted from the cold. After, I felt energized and just amazing. Also, the weight loss is a nice perk :) All in all, I would definitely recommend checking this place out. My wife and I met him at the Griffith Park Half Marathon back in 2015 - while…read morehe only gave us a 5 minute demo stretch, his work lasted all 13 miles and made a lasting impression on us. Fast forward to this past November when I injured my IT band: During a back-to-back 10k / half race series, I pushed myself a bit too hard; combined with the abnormally cold weather and steep incline grades, I strained my left IT band with significant pain in my lower calf, knee and mid thigh. After confirming the injury with my doctor (who did nothing but recommend resting and vitamin d), I took the next 3 weeks off - just working out my upper body and using the stupid hand cycle to keep up my cardio. This was extremely inopportune timing as we had another race series in January. After the 3 week hiatus, I tried to run again, albeit slowly and was only able to complete 6 miles. Now in panic mode, due to the upcoming 51.7 mile race series, I found Dorel's business card and gave him a call. He immediately fit me into his schedule and we planned to meet the next day. After ONE, one hour session, I could already feel my tight IT band relaxing. He used a variety of techniques targeting my IT trigger point and managed to work out the injured muscle and tendons. While it was grueling at times, it was 1,000% worth it to fix this injury. Dorel also gave me a sheet on stretches, recommendations for the week leading up to the races and his personal cell phone number in case I had any issues or questions. As you can see from my attached image, my wife and I were able to run all 51.7 miles. I had ZERO pain in my leg or knee. Truthfully, I was a bit skeptical about my recovery - having taken 3 weeks to rest / stretch my leg and then only able to run 6 miles - I couldn't fathom how an hour of massage therapy could get me race ready in less than 1 week. I am so thankful that we met Dorel - these 5 races would NOT have happened without him. If you have any injury, I cannot recommend him enough!!
