It's a great relaxing spa, clean, professional and skilled practitioners. However, the services are very expensive with 50 min treatments that by the time you're actually receiving the massage or facial it's not a full 50 min for the price. Same experience for 80 minutes. This aspect needs to improve that clock should not tick until the massage is active. read more

The reception area was not very "spa-like" and felt somewhat makeshift. For a brief moment, I honestly thought I had entered through the wrong door. There was no seating available, which did not create a welcoming first impression. That said, I was greeted by two wonderful receptionists who were kind and professional. Unfortunately, the attentiveness of the attendants was lacking. I was brought to the back area, where an attendant pointed to a locker and then to the bathroom without any explanation or guidance. There should be a separate changing area. A customer had to wait to use the bathroom while I was changing clothes. I ended up sitting on the bench outside the bathroom for about 20 minutes. One attendant walked by and saw me but did not check in. I eventually asked if this was where I was supposed to be waiting, and the response was, "Oh, you're ready?" At that point, I had been waiting for quite some time. I was then taken to the lounge area, where Keith immediately met me--he was wonderful and likely wondering where I had been. While Keith provided excellent service, the overall experience did not meet my expectations. For the price, I would prefer to go elsewhere for a more complete and attentive spa experience. I will not be returning or purchasing a gift card. Before leaving, I shared my feedback with the reception staff, who were gracious, understanding, and said they would pass along my concerns. read more

Poor manicure skills- damaged my nails. Instead of taking the time to use cuticle remover then gently cut the cuticle, manicurist tried to use a nail drill on my natural nails - I had to tell her to stop. Then she over-filed my nails and just cut the cuticle, yanking them. She did this on one hand and when she tried to do it on my over hand I stopped her and said No! You have to apply cuticle remover and then cut the cuticle. OMG!! Mind blown. I assumed because it was a "Spa" the employees would be properly trained. The massage was excellent HOWEVER, my gift certificate was expired by only a few days (I couldn't get in before it expired because you were all booked up and I only got in because someone cancelled) But the manager had me pay the $40 difference even after the girl at the desk said it shouldn't be a problem. My husband and I booked a couples deep tissue massage two months ago. It was the worst "massage" I have ever had. We basically paid $200 with tip for one person (total for both was $405 with tip) to get oil rubbed on them. At one point in the beginning I asked politely for more pressure but it was clear that person was not capable of giving that. There was no massage really given. I will never go back there. Spa services are a luxury not a necessity. In some cases in order to relax and go to the spa, people take off work, and/or have to arrange for someone to watch their children while at the spa. The spa is certainly a hike for me back and forth. It is important to find somewhere that respects your time, your money, and in general, you. Which St Tropez clearly does not My family, friends, and myself were all frequent patrons of St.Tropez. Unfortunately, after an incident with a very unprofessional person by the name of Diane, we all will not be going back there again, along with letting others know via social media platforms the experience and what to expect from Diane. St Tropez enforces rules where if you are late or dont show up to your appointment, you are charged a fee, normal. But what does st tropez do when your staff are rude and unprofessional to it's patrons? Nothing. My busy day was made clear so I was even More excited that I could make this appointment . I show up on time and I am then greeted by Diane who asked me if i had ever got a "facial" before, I said yes a facial for my face but not one for the scalp. Diane gave me a dirty look and said well this isnt for a scalp its for your face. I said no it's not i booked online a hydro facial for the scalp. After she then said, are you sure? you dont want a facial? i dont really do hydro facials for the scalp, maybe we will do a facial. Im sorry but I want what I booked. Im not negotiating. Why have it listed and why are you able to take customers when your workers either dont seem like they know what they are doing or dont want to do a particular service. Everyone I asked if they were in my shoes told me they would do the same thing and not want services from this lady. It doesn't seem like she knows what she is doing. So after making me extremely uncomfortable and questioning Diane's credibility, I guess Diane had thought I had left to where I hear her and the other lady talking about me! "The manager even said how did u know not what service u were doing she replied with "i saw facial and I just assumed" but it was the "Oh well, that sucks for her" from Diane in regards to not doing my service. that is DISGRACEFUL. This is a review of Spa St. Tropez in Port Jeff. We spoke to the manager day of who was very un apologetic and not helpful and also emailed them with no response. This was our first time coming to Spa St. Tropez. There were 3 of us that booked our reservation way in advance. My boyfriend's mom had purchased the Loving Care Spa day as a Christmas Present for 3 of us. We all received several emails and text messages confirming our appointments and asking us to please call if we needed to cancel. Two of us were called in for our second part, facial, and massage and one person in our group was left in the waiting area for 15 minutes. After waiting for a while she was finally asked why she was waiting. After explaining that she was waiting for a massage she was told to wait some more. After quite some time, she was told that she would be receiving a different treatment because the spa had overbooked and there wasn't enough time for her 50 minute massage. She told them she didn't want that treatment. A few minutes later they came back and said they could give her a 30 minute massage. She took the 30 minute massage and when we went to leave, they handed her a $45 gift card to make up for her not receiving her full massage. We couldn't believe it when she told us what had happened. The $45 dollar gift card did not seem adequate to make up for her massage and the inconvenience. The spa contacted all of us several times making sure we were keeping our appointments. Unfortunately the spa St Tropez did not keep their appointment with one of us. read more

Awesome spa treatments here at St Tropez for the most part, but I've had better and this past experience was awful. It shouldn't cost $140 to get awkwardly and lightly pet, especially when it's called a "muscle melt; I left more tense than when I went in. To put it in perspective, I hit this ripoff of a spa yesterday and I will be hitting foot spa in Babylon for a better, cheaper experience in two days. My $8 massage in Bali was a better experience. Find your masseuse here and stick to them, they are not all created equal, that's for sure. I wouldn't recommend the place, the waiting areas are awkward, I don't think they care about men the way they cater to women, they do have showers but they aren't at all mentioned to you when you are there and it's purely a business.
