The package also included tapas and champagne. Effie completed my body scrub. She was great and very personable. I felt comfortable being butt-ass naked (under the sheet) during my scrub. After the scrub was a shower. The shower inside the room was nice and refreshing. Jenn completed my Swedish massage. Before beginning she asked me if any parts of body was off limits and how much pressure I wanted/preferred. She really cared about my comfort level. Jamie completed my facial. She asked questions about my skin prior and my skin routine at home. She really cared for and about my skin. I always show up on time to my appointments. I thought my appointment was for 11:15. I arrived and nobody mentioned to me that I was late or anything and they just cut my massage short. When I went to checkout I said she just did the express massage it's okay but if you can change it so I just pay for that and they told me I was late and had to pay for the full service. I was honestly shocked because I truly had no idea I was late. They claimed they called and left me a voicemail at 11 but they did not, I live 5 mins away I would have ran there if I got that call. Only confirmation I received was 3 days before the service. I used to work in the service industry and I just feel I should have been told I was late and maybe offered to move my appt. Massages aren't cheap. It's not easy to get time away from my baby and I'm super uncomfortable being pregnant. I just don't think it was fair that I was charged full price.

I got the Combo Pack: 1/2 hour foot 1/2 hour back massages. First off let's address the elephant in the room, and that is that any spa or salon, a one hour massage starts at $60. So already I am a winner!. My feet were cleaned with a hot wet towel that felt luxurious and while I laid in the comfort of the Zen music, dim lighting and good company my massage therapist worked me over like (insert bad joke punchline that you could possibly think of) here. I'm ashamed to admit that there were interesting sounds of pleasure emitted from my body but I was in heaven and left there debating on giving up getting my nails done every couple of weeks and allocating my funds to a weekly massage. I went to the Sayville location as noted by this review so I cannot speak for other facilities that boast of these well-priced massages. Let me just say that my recovery so much more tolerable thanks to Margaret (Maggie)! I made several appointments with her while I was in town. I wish I could bring her back to Texas with me. The spa was very relaxing and very modern. The office staff was very kind and especially accommodating to my schedule. The ONLY reason for the lack of 5 stars was that my undressing and dressing time was deducted from my massage time. I am accustomed to getting a 60 minute massage for 60 minutes, not 45. Maybe it's how they do things up here, first time for a massage upstate for me. Other than that, everything else was amazing.
