My group of 7 decided to drop in after a morning spelunking at the Warsaw Caves, tired and hungry...borderline hangry. Restaurant size: Groups larger than 6 may have slight issues getting enough seating (we had to borrow a smaller table and 2 chairs for our 7), and there appears to be a larger skew toward comfortable cab seating for 4 adults. There is a nicely sized patio at the front, which may be an option during the warmer months. Portion size: Mostly well portioned! Our group ordered the following: - Fettuccine alfredo daily special: Quite well portioned, to the extent a takeaway box was needed - Chicken souvlaki plate: Very well portioned with large number of chicken souvlaki pieces, a couple potatoes and a moderate-sized salad - Bacon cheeseburger w/ fries/poutine: 8oz burger with large amount of fries - Chicken souvlaki pita and daily soup (chicken w/ rice): Standard sized pita; slightly larger than those found at Alexandros in Toronto... Service: Not too pushy at taking orders, not too slow at bringing food/drinks. Food quality: The burgers were cooked to a nice texture (not too dry/firm) and still had the char-broiled taste. Shoestring-style fries, almost resembled those from McDonald's, but with much less salt. Although the flavours and sauce for the chicken pita was delicious, there could have been more meat included.The soup was quite flavourful and was full of ingredients. Final thoughts: On TripAdvisor, the reviews raved about the pizzas...we all regretted not getting one due to the potential time. If we're ever in the area, we'd visit again. We're not too sure why the water tasted so funny...but we're all still alive and well, so it's A-OK!

They were touting a new menu when we went in August 2021. Our waitress was friendly and attentive - she admitted to being new to the restaurant, but she was professional and good at her job. However, the rest of the staff seemed to be bickering at each other loudly through the restaurant, and there was a larger woman who seemed to enjoy bossing everyone else around. She also kept removing her mask to wipe her nose with her hand, and then she would go back to working with snotty hands... so that was a bit of a turn off. All around they feature mediocre food and an ambience that left something to be desired.

The place seemed very popular with the locals and was bustling on a Sunday morning at brunch time which is always a good sign. Staff was wired and ready for action! Nice change from the city which can get lethargic and sluggish. Recommended when in the area, which is a nice spot! Well, at 9:30 there wasn't a lot of choice so I took a look at Yelp. And Jim's had a pretty good rating. I ordered and then received my pizza very quickly. Man, this is good pizza. Loaded with toppings! So much cheese! My wife would love this. The cheese has more flavour than you will usually find and Jim's sauce stands out through the toppings. It tastes like real tomatoes not spaghetti sauce. And has texture. Seems they are using real food ingredients rather than super processed alternatives that may be cheaper. The funny thing is, this pizza is very inexpensive. I would definitely return to Jim's next time I'm in Port Hope. I look forward to trying more of the items on their menu. And if it's during the day, I may sit on their sidewalk patio and just enjoy this charming town!

The pizza was decent, lots of toppings, but it was missing the mushrooms we asked for. They also offer a few complimentary toppings like granulated garlic and chilies flakes. The spaghetti was average, it came out of the oven so it was hot and steamy. It came to around $35 for our medium pizza and spaghetti. We had a few slices leftover for two people, and we were both pretty satisfied.
