Food was delicious but however the service was terrible. We waited 30 minutes until being asked about what we wanted. We had a large group and they have us one bread stick to share with a lot of people. We asked for some more bread and they said no problem but never came back with bread. We asked for drink refills and our drinks were not refilled. The waiter was avoiding us. Eventually an hour into being there half our tables food showed up. 10 minutes later the rest of the tables food came. Our waitress was cold and did not come back until we asked for the bill. On top of that we showed up after another group of people and got in before them. I feel very bad for those people. But the food is honestly amazing. read more

My family and I usually have a pleasant experience here. Today, not so much. Didn't see our "server" Shea until we were basically done our meal. I ordered mild wings which our server got "Parmesan garlic" from. My wife had a "all you can eat salad" but only got one plate (wasn't asked again). When asked if we wanted another loaf of the bread, never got it throughout the entire meal. When we were done, we waited about 15-20 minutes for the bill (with two kids ready to go, that's never fun) which we had to stop someone else walking by. When our server finally brought the bill, we said we've been waiting for awhile and her excuse was they had just got people from the Peterborough Petes come in so she was all over the place... so we get pushed aside I guess. Although this is normally a popular place for us to bring our kids (usually great service), we probably won't be coming back for awhile. read more

We had a great dinner last night partly due to the excellent service we received from the young woman who was our server. Twice the manager came up behind her when we were paying on the machine and said something to her. The 2nd time she said she would be a couple minutes. We are 4 seniors with debit cards, Scene cards and gift cards. She was spending quality time looking after our payments. My question is - WAS OUR BUSINESS NOT AS IMPORTANT AS THE OTHER TABLE HE WANTED HER TO WAIT ON'?? I would appreciate an answer! read more

We had dinner here on Friday. It was fairly busy but we were seated right away and our server took our drink order. That was the only thing that went well. Our food took a long time to arrive...in fact, there were tables of people who arrived, ate and left before we were served our main course. When we finally did receive our food (after asking a passing waiter about it) it was cold, and not exactly what we had ordered. Then we asked for our bill and waited again. Finally one of our party went to the hostess at the entrance and asked to speak to the manager. The manager did remove some items from our bill. All told, we were there for over 2 hours for what should have been a quick Friday evening supper. Ridiculous. We will not return! read more

Went for Birthday Dinner as friends had said at lunch they had a good time at the one in Cobourg a few days before. Pasta was a glob of paste. Sent it back and got veal instead. It was buried in breading which we ended us digging through as it took so long in arriving. Not Birthday song or the free lunch coupon our friends recieved not that I would use the coupon. I will just start off by saying the bread sticks and ceasar salad are amazing.Their food in general is good. I usually order their pepperoni pizza which I find to be delicious. In regards to their service its a hit or miss. I've gone there before and had amazing service but I've also gone there and had to wait a half an hour to get my food. It all depends on what day and what time of day you go. Overall I would have to say that this is a good place to eat, especially if you're in Peterborough getting some shopping done, it happens to be right in the middle of everything so that's a bonus. read more

I have been here many times, and I must say today was not the best. Went for lunch (3 of us) and it was not busy at all. All of are meals were just barely warm. The server did not come back once to ask us how our lunch was. we had to go find our server to get our bill - at which time still did not even ask us how our meal was. read more

Nothing speical but good for the price but I'm more of a drinker there anyways. I likke the TV set up and they were more the happy to switch the sound on for the game and off the music (I was not a fan of the late night music) when I asked just. But keep in mind before 9 there are always kids around the bar area (usually they or the family want to watch the game as well) but thats not to bad just got to get creative when u team starts losing. Over all I enjoyed it but who doesn't injoy free bread salad and soup all amazing buy the way. read more

Terrible food, very greasy and just overall gross. Gave me heartburn and I felt bloated for hours afterward. Don't know how they can legally call this Italian food, truly a disgrace. Servers and workers are friendly mind you, my beef is with the food not them. read more

Been waiting 45 minutes for our food (still waiting). Haven't seen our waitress in half an hour. Restaurant definitely not staffed or prepared when things get busy. Thinking about skipping out of here and making dinner at home. Would probably be quicker. read more

I've had really great experiences eating in at East Side Mario's. Service has always been fast, friendly and attentive without being obnoxious. Food is always at least 'good' if not great. Absolutely love their Caesar salad and garlic bread. Prices and quantities very reasonable - always have enough leftovers for lunch the next day. read more
