Known him for 12+ years. Hired him at the end of May 2018 to fix storm damage. Gave him a deposit…read morefor materials, keep in mind we've known him for a long time. Told us he'd be over the end of June, didn't show up. Never once contacted us to let us know what was going on, any info we got was from us contacting him. A couple weeks into August, we decided we'd had enough and cancelled our contract with him, the proper way. It is now October 23, 2018, and we still haven't seen our money. He claims he had ordered our materials from 4 different suppliers and was waiting for the returns to be approved and refunds to be issued. Unfortunately, most suppliers do returns and refunds within a week. Oh and he refuses to provide receipts for proof of purchase for materials that he had supposedly purchased. Funny thing is, we found out that he took vacation and bought a boat after he received our deposit. We should've had our refund by now. Shame on us for trusting a friend and boy do we ever regret it.... Kiss Construction LLC IS NOT RECOMMENDED
