As an American I had a great time looking at different foods that we don't have in the USA, so I snapped a couple of photos of the frozen food products that made me giggle the most. I suppose that to the locals my fascination with the products would be silly, but I had a great time checking out all of their items. If you live in or around this area there are other grocery stores that are actually much larger nearby, but I still loved this little one right in town the best!

The store itself is of a good size, has a wide range of groceries, some are well known brands others are not english brands, and can take some working out, glad there are pictures on the products. The store has a fiar size fruit and veg section which is very good in price and certainly knocks spots off the competatiors. One negative I found was lack of staff on the shop floor as I came across a few items that were not priced and did not want to wait to the till point before asking. The staff at the till are friendly and helpful.

But that doesn't mean they aren't quality they just are probably from abroad It is nice for unusual sweets and treats and they have great variety packs of things like hollow Easter eggs etc. There is a good selection of wines and alcohol too at low prices great for stocking up for special occasions. The store is well aid out, easy to navigate and well sign posted. The store has a (Johnsons?) dry cleaning department, a Photo processing department, and a Starbucks coffee shop. Even of you dont want to go shopping you can still pop in and have a coffee and a snakc at Starbucks. The negative point, although this is not Sainsburys fault, is at peak times the queues to get on to the retail park are lengthly,before Christmas it took me an hour to get from the island to Sainsburys store

This store is excellent, Iceland as a brand has excellent prices and an excellent range of foods. Each freezer is labelled with the food, from Indian, Chinese, Low fat, kids etc. The store also sells a small range of groceries, wines and spirits and an excellent fridge section cotaining staples such as milk, again these prices are competatively priced. he store also sells a small selection of fridges and freezers. This location also offers shop and drop service, you do your shopping and they will drop it off at home for you at a prearranged time slot. The staff are friendly helpful and knowledgeable about the range. Highly recommend this store to all.

Always a good full selection of fruit & vegetables, salad & stuff. Laid out well, easy to get reach, easy labelling to check prices. Fantastic butchering services, if it's not out on the shelf they will do it for you. Boning a shoulder of lamb for instance, not a problem for them. Tesco don't do this. Good value deli, not a spectacular choice but good enough. Love the salad bar & fresh bread. Usually plenty of cashiers on, who will help you pack if you ask. Watch out for the AA/RAC reps on the way out. Just cover your ears and run past, mumbling "no thank you". My only gripe is the lack of price reduction on items that are approaching the sellby date. For example: Brisket joint £6, reduced by 30p to £5.70. Same joint at the end of the day now reduced by another 70p down to £5. Then it's chucked out. Come on Morrisons, it costs you money to have this stuff taken away. Just reduce those items more and they will shift off the shelf.

This shop is a god send, the aroma from the shop is amazing, the staff are really friendly and helpful, and if you are not sure on what strength or flavour coffee or tea to choose, they will ask a few questions and go from there. There is nothing better than fresh ground coffee and this is the place to be.
