Great shop to get all your little items, not necessarily cheap but you have some great deals on, from the spar franchise. You can get lottery, and health lottery, pay point for phones and bills etc, friendly staff always happy to help. read more

Figuring I would have to suffer, I managed to spot this shiny new Sainsbury's through my inflamed and tearing eyes. Holding out hope they would have something to cure my ills, I was cheerfully pleased to see a blister pack of 7 Claritin pills on the shelf. Yes, they had a whole bunch more for sale - drinks, candies, magazines, lager, wine, sandwiches, heat-and-eat meals and all sorts of other probably great stuff - but all I needed was relief from the histamine attack going on. I was able to operate the self-checkout and got Nectar points too! Hooray! Three cheers for Sainsbury's! Hip! Hip! Hooray!

If you're limited to only shopping in the centre, then this place is your best bet. They may not have my preferred brand, but they usually have at least a version of the sauce I'm looking for. Your other choices are GG Oriental Snack Shack in Gloucester Green or to venture out onto Cowley Road. My only warning is, if it's not priced, ASK before you buy. I didn't realize until I got home that the one small jar I didn't see labeled with a price and that the till lady couldn't scan, she manually entered 9£ for it!

It is a very large site with a lovely scenic lake where there are water sports available such as ring rides and water skiing. There is a tourist information area where they supply lots of leaflets of local farms, markets and attraction in the area. You can also find a little shop where you can buy necessities such as bread, milk, condiments and newspapers/ A little further from the shop there is a wooden lodge that housed a pub, where you would sit in or outside weather pending! It is definitely worth while having a look or calling to see what prices they have, as it worked out cheaper that a hotel for 4 nights for 4 adults and a child.

The staff are always friendly and helpful, and there are a large number of checkouts which are opened during busy times to reduce the length of time you need to spend queueing to pay for your goods. They sell good quality fruit and vegetables, as well as snacks, ready meals, and household goods. The large size of the store enables it to stock a wide range of products, and so it caters to the vast majority of your needs. The prices are quite competitive, and the quality is good, so it is definitely worth a try if you are in the area.

Great to pop into on your way to somewhere else, or to grab a bottle of wine for a party. They have some really cheap wine that tastes okay, and some surprisingly better quality stuff. Probably not worth going to for a big shop, and the bigger stores do have some better deals, but it's in a useful location. I just hope it didn't take over some nice little independent corner shop or grocers.
