Definitely worth a visit! Book a full body massage for sure to get a good relaxing experience. The pools and spa amenities were great. Lovely to have tea, flavored water and fruit available. Would have loved to see the coffee available all day too. Included breakfasts were good each morning. The views were amazing. Loved the bathtub. Was very confused as to why there was not a coffee machine in the room, not even a kettle. I've never stayed anywhere that did not provided coffee in the room. Asking for towels at the spa area was awkward, the staff always seemed annoyed, I understand people are using a lot of towels going from room to room, but that should be a given when you go from pool to shower to steam to room, etc, so maybe just leave them out for ppl to take.

    Gorgeous view from the room

The hotel is nice, staff was overall friendly (except one janitor in particular), but there's definitely room for improvement. The rooms themselves look like they were built in the 90s, dated design even though the exterior of the hotel is modern and it's only been around for 13 years. 2010 is not that long ago. Still, very clean and gorgeous views! But our room never got made up during our 2-night stay. Not sure why. The saunas are definitely the reason to come, there's plenty to do, unfortunately they don't open until 2pm, which is odd since the pool is open from 7am, but how long are you going to sit in a pool? The steam rooms in particular are wonderful, but I've heard there's been changes to the salt steam that people miss. Breakfast goes until 10am, and saunas don't open until 2pm, so there's really 4 hours to kill depending on when you eat. The pools are nice and all but that's a lot of extra time in between. Free EV charging, valet is hit or miss so I just parked my car by the chargers for the 3 days and only plugged in for the ride home. Breakfast was fine, it's included so not much you can complain about but goodness gracious THE FOOD FOR LUNCH/DINNER IS AWFUL. COFFEE IW TERRIBLE. And terribly overpriced. I don't understand why, there's plenty of food options in Vernon and even a few on Predator Ridge - eat there instead for lunch or dinner. Our 2 Caesar salads and side of calamari ordered to the room came to $60 CAD. No joke. I think they know the food sucks but "hey, where else you gonna go? Are you going to leave the resort?" Yes, yes I will. We'll probably come back since I'd really like to give this place another shot, and for the price it's worth it if you don't mind the drive depending on where you're coming from. I just really hope they extend sauna hours earlier and have better food.

There is honestly nothing I had to complain about while staying at Sparkling Hill. The valet parking was easy and stress-free. The lobby and areas within the hotel had Swarovski crystals hanging, which added to the name/brand of the hotel. I wanted to check in earlier, but I also understand that is not guaranteed because it's based on what's available and at least we were able to get in our room exactly on time. The room was beautiful and the view was even more so. Since Sparkling Hill is located high up on a hill, it was just breathtaking looking out the high windows while taking a bath. Unfortunately, due to the smog from the California and Portland fires, most of the view was foggy. We were also able to see part of the infinity pool, which was nice to gauge how busy the pool was at any given time. The infinity pool is salt water and the perfect temperature. I hate it when pools are too cold or too hot. I loved sitting in the hot tub inside and then slowly transitioning outside to the infinity pool overlooking Vernon. I didn't get a chance to swim in the indoor pool. Another huge plus to the hotel was that they encouraged walking around in your robe and slippers. It really added to the tranquil and relaxing experience. We ended up even going to the restaurant in our robe and slippers. The restaurant PeakFine was on the expensive side, but the food was delicious. I don't mind paying a premium if the food quality matches the pricing. The entire experience was and is something I'd like to repeat on a yearly basis to recharge from the daily stress of life.

I loved Sparkling Hill Resort and Spa! They had Swarovski crystals all over the resort and in every room! We bought a hedgehog Swarovski figurine as a souvenir because they're so cute and we ate lots of Purdy's chocolate hedgehog on the way to Vernon from Vancouver. I loved the steams and saunas! I personally prefer steams more than saunas, so I would definitely recommend the Rose steam room and the Salt steam room! It smelled so good in there and so relaxing! I really enjoyed the Java coffee shop and other amenities. The only thing was that there were a few errors on the admin/staff roles. I think they are just too busy to accommodate guests and trying to answer many phone calls at the same time. Overall, loved my stay!

I love this place. It looks like a perfect place for couples to go on vacation, specially ladies will love this place since it's sparkly crystals on adrenaline! It's a little pricey so planning ahead is recommended. The environment, building, rooms, pools and all things at the spa are great. My favourite spots are: Rose steam Crystal steam Igloo Herbal sauna The massage packages that we got and enjoyed were: Empress Sissi Salt scrub The breakfast buffet was included in our package. The quality was very good and there were so many things for different tastes. At the bar/coffee shop, I had an old fashioned, which was pretty good. They also have a very nice view. The food was very good quality and I found the staff very polite and helpful. The whole experience is very relaxing. There are so many things to explore and experience here. I know based on my experience so far, I'll definitely come back here.

Had an extremely pleasant stay here. We've been meaning to come here and finally have had the time to. We were very surprised at how well the staff are managing with all the new COVID-19 protocols. It definitely makes their jobs alot harder but they've been doing so well. The steam rooms were still closed but the rest of the facilities are open and well operated. Give this place a go if you haven't been, it is absolutely gorgeous here. And please be kind to the staff and have patience, it is hard to navigate under new protocols and they really are doing their best!

We had such a great time at this resort. The pool and the quiet room alone were worth the drive. The Peakfine restaurant served delicious dinner and breakfast.

You guys this place was fan-freaking-tastic!…read more My husband's family owns a beach condo in Celista. We go out there every summer and this is the first time we've ever been to the Quaaout Lodge. It was my husband's birthday today and his parents treated us to a wonderful dinner. This is also the first time we have gone to a restaurant since Covid started, and their safety protocols made us feel very safe. The staff was all wearing masks, the tables were spaced out great, there was sanitizer stations all over the place, and when we arrived they even sanitized the chairs! The service was top notch. Our drinks and food both arrived promptly and we were all very impressed with everything. Everyone ordered the fish and chips but me, but I had a taste of my husband's and it was delicious. I had the Wedge Salad and it was hands down the best salad I've ever had (I highly recommend). I also recommend the Botanical Gin and Tonic The server overheard us mention that it was my husband's birthday and they offered him a free dessert (the best creme brule ever) complete with a candle. Overall we were all thoroughly impressed and will definitely be back next summer!

The lights in the washroom and at the bed for reading are nice and bright. It is so nice to have good lighting when using the washroom and reading in bed at night. The bin they have for recycling is nicely divided into 4 sections labeled paper, plastic, metal and glass. In the bedroom they have a hassock underneath the bedside table, this provides a great seat to be used when writing or making notes. You have a little mini desk. We had a great stay at Quaaot and would highly recommend a stay here. The staff are all very welcoming and helpful.

We booked for 3 nights because we were staying in town looking at real estate to buy, Upon booking…read moreI specifically asked if the jacuzzi and steam room was working. The answer was "as far as I know, yes". This was important to us because we wanted to relax and there's nothing else to do there. In fact it was one of the main reasons we booked. We get to the place and the cabin was cute. Prefabricated but not too bad. Ok. Doable. We go to use the steam room and there's a paper sign on the door with a plastic cover that's worn and very evident it's been sitting there a very long time. It said Out of order. In fact, other people told us the steam room wasnt working which is why we asked. So now we see it's clearly not working. We then take the cover off the hot tub and the water was half full and it was green and not from chlorine. It smelled like it was about to start smelling like a pond. I called the property manager and he met us there and told us the steam room broke down just that day. Ya right! I'm sure they tell this to everyone and I'm not impressed with the dishonesty. I then told him the hot tub was half full and needed more water and he acted annoyed telling me it was up to the line it's supposed to be. I told him I've been dealing with hot tubs going on 20 years and it's nowhere near full. He seemed quite annoyed, impersonal and acting like we were being a nuisance by asking. No public relations or politeness at all. He said he'd add water. We went back and attempted to use it but it was simply too dirty and smelly which makes our trip suck because the website makes it look like it had a fancy steam room and hot tub. So then our guest attempts to use the cable weights and they were so old, used and rusty that the cable instantly snapped and broke nearly tearing his peck right out. The weights were very old and rusty. It wasn't kept at all. Bring your own pillows because cabin 4 has flat pillows that are brutal. They supply 1 sheet and dinky blanket that won't work well so you may want to bring extra blankets and the bed we had was a cheap mattress extremely uncomfortable and wobbly. We were worried it was going to break. I gave it a 2 star because I won't totally knock the place because the cabins are individually owned and maybe the other ones are better and maybe maintenance will be on top of things in the summer season and fix things so I will most likely try staying there again but in a different cabin when I'm back in town shopping for real estate and if things are fixed I'll update my review as the place most certainly does have potential if it was kept up properly and the caretaker was a bit more friendly. The lady on the phone was really nice who took the booking but I'm not happy I was lied too about the steam room. If you have back injuries the beds in cabin 4 are unacceptable. You'll be up at 3 am and won't be able to get back to sleep. The broom was broken making it difficult to clean the cabin especially when you have to clean it when you leave. The toaster only half of it worked. Only half the burners on the stove partially worked. The bulb was burned out above the stove making it dark to cook at night. Basically the maintenance isn't being kept up at all. We ended up driving into town to buy our own pillows because the ones they had were so bad we got no sleep. We can't use the gym, hot tub or steam room which is the main reason we booked. The website was misleading. The lake is also on the opposite side of the highway. The cabins are on a pond they are not on the lake which we thought they were.
