I had contacted 7 local temp agencies, 4 didn't reply at all, 1 called me in for an interview then never contacted me again, and one set up a phone interview and then stopped communicating altogether. My Green Key recruiter, Erika Silvey, called me in for an interview right away. The interview was quite long and very thorough and by the end I felt like she had gotten to know me and what I bring to the table as far as my skills/experience/personality. Right away she got me a temp job at a management consulting firm that I was able to walk to. Her communication was excellent, from the first day to the last I felt like I could contact her with any questions or concerns I might have. I found the Green Key app very easy to use, and I preferred entering/submitting the hours I had worked on my phone, rather than filling in a piece of paper, getting a manager to sign it, faxing it to the agency, etc. After that first job ended, she said "I know you're looking for something full-time, but for now would you be interested in another temporary position until we find something permanent?". I really appreciated the acknowledgement that I was not interested in being a temp for 2 years (again). She also provided me with very constructive feedback on my resume and what she expected as far as updating it as I ended one assignment and began another. Fast forward ~1 month, quite happy to be working again (and making 50% more than the last temp agency paid!), and after 1 job interview she set up that went well but ultimately was not for me (they were afraid my commute would be too long), Erika had me placed at a local financial institution that ended up hiring me. She gave me good, practical advice as far as negotiating my salary and other hurdles as a potential new hire. Pay, benefits, growth potential, fit, and just overall job satisfaction are the best I've ever had and I would not have this great new career were it not for Erika Silvey @ Green Key Resources. 10/10, have recommended this agency/recruiter to many friends/family.

They have been always accessible for any and all questions I had during the process. Dustin was always on top of things and got me answers right away. I eventually accepted one of the offers initiated by Workbridge and that was in part of my relationship with the folks here. I have interviewed in the past with very young Recruiters, have a bad feeling about them...giggly, unprofessional, silly, un-professional, and have no idea about what it is like to be a consummate professional in the USA, anymore. The most recent Recruiter I spoke with in Ashburn, VA. was a constant giggler! Sooooooo... Annoying. She was NOT working at Woodbridge, per se. but that is the type of Recruiter that I have been running into, all throughout the Virginia area. I am hoping for a much better experience with Woodbridge? I've had other agencies promise me a temp-to-perm positions, but this time it really was! Morgan Stephens has an online payroll process and onboarding. Not only did I get paid every week as promise, they even paid me the day after my timesheet got approved. Instead of waiting until Friday, I got my paychecks on Tuesday. well, after 30 days of working through Morgan Stephens I received a permanent position. They let me go at no cost to my new employer (which is rare) but it gave my new company plenty of incentive to hire me. Thanks you Heather and Morgan Stephens for making my job search so easy!

In my personal experience, the recruiter I was working with was not forthcoming about an…read moreopportunity. When I wasn't available when she wanted me to be for a Zoom interview, she was suddenly unresponsive and passed the assignment to someone else (which is perfectly fine), but was not forthcoming about that at all and instead said that the company no longer needed help with the project. The dishonesty speaks to a lack of professionalism and integrity, and the recruiter Maggie simply could have said that the company needed someone sooner. While temporary agencies have their clients' interest (businesses) first and foremost in mind, that does not mean job seekers and temporary employment candidates need to be lied to. After all, candidates are The Choice's and other temporary agencies source of revenue. In light of this, I write to let others know that candidates deserve to be treated with respect, and to job seekers: advocate for yourself when employment practices are not transparent. As someone else mentioned, the glowing reviews are curious and my previous not glowing review was flagged (most likely by The Choice). I highly suggest consulting other sources such as Glassdoor and Google for more holistic, balanced insight to inform your decision of whether to work with them.
