They have meat from Rihms locker, and mix it with cheese and onions on a buttery grilled bun. Excellent diner style steak sandwich. The decor is ecclectic and plenty to look at while you have your beer. It reminds me of the Toby Keith song, "I love this bar." There are bikers, farmers, firemen, hippies, chain smokers and boozers. You can go here to laugh and have a conversation with a stranger, or sit in silence at the bar with a drink. It is a true classic "dive bar". It is locally owned, and you can tell that the owner truly cares about her patrons. We stopped in on the evening of Thanksgiving. I thought it was so neat that the owner had assembled a Thanksgiving dinner for all of her normal patrons. We had to move a dirty plate and glass over to the end of the bar. After about six minutes of sitting there with no bartender appearing we decided to just get a drink, and go elsewhere later for food. Finally a gal approached us, and it seemed that she was the only staff member on duty for both dining rooms and the bar. She was nice enough, but it was disappointing that she couldn't have just removed the dirty dishes which were six inches from my husband's elbow, not to mention the bar wasn't wiped down. The dishes were still there when we left. We caught her passing through after a while to ask for the tab, which was $7.77. My husband put down a $20 bill and she brought back $12.00. Now I realize some places are in a state of panic hysteria over "penny shortages" but you don't just round UP a guest's tab and certainly not by almost a quarter. Some places give you a discount for cash; this one penalizes you. The decor is nice, rustic and countrified. I don't know how the food is obviously. As we were leaving I noticed the front dining room tables still hadn't been cleared and we were there about 20 minutes.

Their tin tacker is of a slightly obese dad in an undersized sleeveless shirt, headband and white New Balance sneakers riding a beer can. Perfection. Genius! I got my standard flight with I'll Turn This Car Around (Hazy IPA), Kiss the Cook (DIPA), Snooze Button (Imperial Stout) and a Tapestry of Obscenity (IPA).
