The cover on the face pad was just a perforated paper towel that I had to stick my face through. I found this to be inadequate and inappropriate but my back was hurting. I had an average massage although I requested deep tissue. After turning over, I was "propositioned" which I found offensive and did not expect. Although I was disgusted, I gave her a $10 tip which she complained about. I feel I should have filed a police report instead but walked out after paying. I will not be back.

The building was nice and the atmosphere was nice. However, I have had over 20 massages in my life and this one ranks near the bottom. Some issues were not Ariel's fault. I would make a suggestion for the owner that the table with the belly cut out was not comfortable. It squished my breasts, that are very sensitive and uncomfortable due to being pregnant. The sheet that covered the belly cut out was very tight and it felt like I was laying directly on my baby. I could not get comfortable. I then was laying flat on my back for some of it, which felt uncomfy too. Wish they had a way to prop slightly. My massage felt more like a deep tissue massage. I asked her to lighten up more than 5-6 times. She always would but would then go right back to doing it so hard. I was even wincing and pulling away at points and she wasn't picking up on it. I left feeling more beat up than anything. She also spent over an hour on just my back and was doing the same repetitive motion on the same spot. It hurt. At a certain point with her, not picking up on my keys and not lighting up after I said it was too hard several times, I just gave up and just felt uncomfortable. Like I said, she was sweet and would listen well but the massage was just not good.

I was told I needed to provide details on the bad experience, which I did. Then I was told massage was a subjective experience, and that I should have voiced my concerns/opinions/wants. Excellent gas lighting by the owner. Zero mention of a refund or reimbursement or anything else to create a better experience. Needless to say, I will not be back.
