A gentleman from Primm's came out to look at the property and give me an estimate on weeding some…read moreflower beds and trimming some trees. Nice guy. We had a good chat. The estimate came in around 2k. $630 of that was for weeding the beds, which I could do in about an hour by myself. They budgeted 6 hours for it. They also budgeted 6 hours to put mulch on those beds for another $630. I told them that was too high for the work (and that I'd just weed and mulch the beds myself) and asked them to send an estimate for just the tree trimming (which was about $600). I was told that just the tree trimming would not meet their minimum requirement to send out a team. So, $600 for an hour of work for two men was not worth their time. Holy cow is that a bad business model. I was really surprised by that response. If this is the kind of price-gouging and entitled service you can expect from Primm's, steer clear.
