The estimate came in around 2k. $630 of that was for weeding the beds, which I could do in about an hour by myself. They budgeted 6 hours for it. They also budgeted 6 hours to put mulch on those beds for another $630. I told them that was too high for the work (and that I'd just weed and mulch the beds myself) and asked them to send an estimate for just the tree trimming (which was about $600). I was told that just the tree trimming would not meet their minimum requirement to send out a team. So, $600 for an hour of work for two men was not worth their time. Holy cow is that a bad business model. I was really surprised by that response. If this is the kind of price-gouging and entitled service you can expect from Primm's, steer clear.

In my opinion, whoever sold him the trash dirt that was spread on my yard is most responsible for the poor job I got, but I have no idea who his supplier is. My yard still looks worse now than before. He said I needed to install a sprinkler system, but I see no need to water clay and rocks. I need good soil!!! None of my neighbors have sprinkler systems. I wish my yard looked half as good as the ones they have. I waited almost a year before writing this review in hopes that all the recent rains would help. It has not. Every time I cut my yard, it's a reminder of the bad job I got from two (Edwin's Lawncare, LLC too) different landscapers. I guess I'll have to try for a third one...someday. They then proceeded to do the same to my neighbor. This happened previously, where I gave them the benefit of the doubt where they just did not spray the fenced in back yard. Everything was done safely, efficiently, and the whole crew was just pleasant to have over for the morning. We also had three stumps to grind. They left all spaces clean and tidy afterwards. They also pruned a huge water maple that is right off our back porch to make it safe. They did a great job of clearing the brush out and the clean up was outstanding, even my roof got a total cleaning of leaves and branches . I would highly recommend these guys.
