i never write reviews for anything but definitely felt the need to write for spartan ! I had a horrible experience with them.I rented a roll off that was suppose to get picked up on Monday due to us getting our parking lot re paved. Monday came around and no show no answer. called all day Tuesday and the same thing no answer nothing! finally got a text message (not even a call) on tuesday evening stating they would be by Wednesday morning. I pushed my asphalt work till Wednesday and come Wednesday morning still no answer just a text message that they were working on getting it picked up . asphalt company had to work around the roll off until I was able to get a tow truck over to pull it out . Now spartan is refusing to refund the money for the tow truck we had to call. unbelievable!! Please DO NOT go with this company and save yourself the hassles and the headaches ! read more

Spartan got us a dumpster the next day when we needed one quick to start some demo work. Super friendly and their prices were by far the best of anyone we talked to. They even let us keep it over the weekend when we needed a couple extra days without any issue. I was nervous reading some of the reviews but can't say it aligned with my experience. Driver dropped off was super friendly, and the pickup was so easy we didn't even notice until it was gone! They notify you with a text when they're on their way and you can get their location which makes timing convenient. Would recommend! read more

So far our experience has been great! Best price when shopping around; communication was great when getting info from office; driver was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about how and where to place unit without destroying our garage door, driveway or bushes; quick drop off; clean container inside and out. They charge by the week at 1/2 the price of everyone else! Literally half the price of "the other guys". We rented a 12 yard roll-off, filled it with dirt and sod to the top and they hauled it away, perfect customer service, delivery on time, I had a call 30 minutes prior by the driver and 2 of my neighbors used Spartan after my rental. read more

We have ordered from Spartan multiple time before and never had any issues. This last time we ordered a roll off it was dropped 1.5 weeks before Memorial Day. We specifically stated if it could not be picked up before then we would wait until after. We Called the Friday before the weekend and they stated they were sorry and would have it gone Monday, even though it was Memorial Day. We asked are you sure it is Memorial Day and they said yes we are sure as we couldn't pick it up this week. When we returned to the property Tuesday they did not answer the phone all day, we called all day long!Spartan then sent a text late afternoon Tuesday saying the will be there in the morning, sorry the holiday put us behind. We let them know we had asphalt guys arriving early Wednesday and that it needed to be gone by then. They reassured us once again it would be gone and not to worry. Now what do you know it is Wednesday afternoon and it is still here and they do not answer the phone just send texts as a response. I spoke with someone this morning and they said they would send a truck. That was at 730am it is now noon and they keep giving excuses. Now she stated they went and moved the wrong dumpster when i gave her the address and she found it in the system on the phone. I would suggest not to use Spartan as they do not do as they say. The way they handled the situation was absolutely terrible. To tell the customer multiple times that it would be picked up and not follow through is not good business practice and we have plenty other companies to use. One last thing as I was writing this review I just received a text now of them accusing me of being "rude and intolerable" as I told the lady on the other end of the "text" since she doesn't answer the phone! I have never raised my voice, said anything rude, I even said a prayer for their driver they said crashed her motorcycle, if that's even true or just another excuse as to why they didn't pick up the dumpster! Company dumped a roll off on our driveway without verifying the address or that we had ordered it. Dropped it at the wrong location not only leaving the person paying for it out their order but blocking our main vehicle in our garage for an entire weekend. The driver didn't even get out of the truck to make sure he had the right location, just dump and run. The company has no way to get a hold of them when we called and we were forced to find other transportation for the weekend and to work on Monday, costing us hundreds! They made no effort to respond to our calls and when we did finally get a hold of someone they took no ownership or care to the inconvenience they had caused. Blamed the ordering customer and said they would get it moved at some point Monday, no apology, nothing! Use a company that takes the time to verify and cares to provide decent customer service and responsibility for the company they are running. This company is not that! read more
