Jiffy Lube - Thanks for not tightening my oil filter Jiffy Lube, I love what you've done with my driveway.

TERRIFYING. I used to go to these guys regularly, i.e. 3-4x per year. I stopped a few years back…read moreafter I had an odd experience, followed by a very dangerous and disturbing one. The former was when I went for my usual oil change. After it was done, the mechanic had me come right outside. He smiled as he gave me my keys and said, "Have a nice day." I pointed out that I hadn't paid yet. He grinned and said, "Oh, there's no charge." I was confused but when I asked if I could at least give him a tip, he smirked and said that would be "acceptable". I wasn't sure if it was a shakedown or not, but I gave him a $20 tip (it was much cheaper than the $75 I typically pay) and went on my way. In retrospect, I think this guy and his friends may have been playing games. I suspect the manager was off and they were doing oil changes for free and taking tips. When I went there a few months later, the same guys were there. This time, I was charged. After I left, I noticed my vehicle - on and off - was making an unusual humming sound. It was like a vibration. I couldn't figure out what it was, until a few days later, when the left rear wheel of my SUV suddenly CAME OFF AS I WAS DRIVING! Luckily, it was in a relatively quiet area, so I was only going 30, and I was going slightly uphill. I managed to pull over without crashing. The rear wheel was at a bad angle and was locked up. I had my SUV towed to my usual mechanic and he told me someone had deliberately loosened all the lug nuts on that particular wheel ("Someone was messing with your vehicle" is a direct quote). The sound and vibration were from the lug nuts coming off, and the wheel followed. I was livid. I could've been KILLED. Thank God my daughter and her friends weren't in the car. It made no sense. We live in an upscale area with garages and no crime. The only place that had access to my vehicle was Jiffy Lube, and the noise stared shortly after I left there. I calmed myself as best I could and called their corporate office. I spoke to a woman and told her everything. She actually had the nerve to make it sound as if it was my fault for "going along with it". This confirms my suspicion that this kind of thing was happening. With no justice to be found at the Jiffy Lube corporate office, I called the actual location a few days later and spoke to the manager. He told me he'd just started there, and that the entire crew that had been there had been fired. I reported the matter to the police, who weren't sure how to proceed, but they said they'd check their reports and complaints to see if there had been any similar incidents that had taken place. The only thing that I can figure is that the guys who were giving away "free" oil changes got ratted out by a suspicious customer. They assumed it was me and decided to retaliate. They were wrong. Needless to say, I am NEVER going to that place ever again, and Jiffy Lube better start doing background checks on the people they hire.

What?? This would be an additional $119. Because I am a woman and not an intimidating one, I tend to have this problem at Jiffylubes, so I quickly got my husband on the phone because people like this require a man's voice to not take advantage of customers. When I got in the car I immediately noticed a pile of leaves and trash in my car that was NOT there before. They are on the dash board as well as the floor. The service that I paid for included vacuuming. Not only did that not happen, but it is much worse than it was when I took it in. About an hour for all this. Now I have to go vacuum out my car.

I called and 2:09 and the person told me it's almost done, and they were putting the tires back on. I took the uber back to the shop after an hour and my car was outside, and the time was 4:30 pm. I thought great the work is all done. When I went to pay the said they just got the parts, and it won't be done until 6pm. I asked if any work was complete and the guy said, no. Do NOT TAKE YOUR CARE AND LEAVE IT!!!! I waisted money on the uber after dropping it off and picking it up. I was the first person there that morning before the guy turned on the lights!!!

I was asked if I would like to spend an additional $10 for them to go over my vehicle and I declined. While waiting I heard them call multiple people and tell them all that they needed "Cabin Air filters" at a cost of $60+. **Side note: the cabin air filter is located in the glove box and cost roughly $10 and takes 5 minutes to replace**. Now I get approached with an $800 proposal of work. The proposal was for a: -fuel system cleaning (unless you are having issues this is not needed) -inspection (my inspection isn't up till the end of August and it's July 15th) -cabin air and engine filter (both are K&N and do not require changing just cleaning) These sales tactics are not only wrong they are predatory. If you don't know the basics of car maintenance you will be 100% taken advantage of by this establishment. They also display their hourly rate of $170 per hour which is ridiculous for a shop that most likely doesn't have any factory trained service technicians. To add insult to injury I discovered a fresh scuff where the technician scraped my vehicle.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS LOCATION UNLESS YOU WANT TO END UP WITH MORE DAMAGES TO YOUR CAR…read more i brought my car into MIDAS IN WARMINSTER , PA expecting professional service, but unfortunately, I left with damage that wasn't there before. My vehicle only needed to have an exhaust flex pipe replaced due to a small leak. When I called on 6/30/25 the manager at that location gave me a price of $145.00 plus tax. I sechedule my appointment for 7/2/25 At 7:30am. The manager proceeds to call me and rank up the price to $799 plus tax. as of 4:30om my car was never touched. Therefore, I came in on 7/3/25 at 7:30am to pick up my vehicle due to the price being high. My car was not supposed to be touched. I came in to the part being removed and damaged even more. There was a dent to the pipe and the flex exhaust mesh part ripped. The manager had a mechanic that was less experience work on my vehicle due to the original mechanic not coming in until 9 o'clock. The mechanic that put the part back on my car had no clue what to do but did what he was told. When I received my car it sounds like a motorcycle. I told the manager I will not take my car sounding like this. When I brought my vehicle in it had no noise. He said to leave it when the original mechanic comes in at nine he will check to see why it has a noise now. I had to go to work. I left and came back at 2:00pm. I never received a call to inform me on any updates to my vehicle. And no one from the shop took responsibility. When I raised the issue, I was met with excuses and poor customer service. Instead of offering a solution, they denied any fault and made me feel like I was in the wrong for speaking up. I trusted this shop with my car, and now I'm left to deal with the damage and extra cost. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for quality or accountability. Be careful if you decide to bring your vehicle here. Want to include photos or a specific date? I can help with that tooieg

The front desk staff were dismissive, rude, and even made false claims by insisting I had booked the wrong location. They offered no apology or clear explanation. This experience felt both disrespectful and frustrating, especially as someone who values her time and trusts the system. If this service cannot be reliably provided, it should be removed from the online scheduling system--or at the very least, customers should be proactively contacted if the system is malfunctioning--to prevent unnecessary confusion and inconvenience.

I have always been leery of automotive service centers, specifically card dealerships, for their unethical practices and preying on their customers in order to pocket the most money they can from those who lack understanding of the problems with their cars. I had two front tires mounted and balanced as well as having the car aligned. The service was performed in a timely fashion and the technician even checked my fluids and suspension without even asking. John, the manager did not try to upsell me in services that were not necessary which is a common practice at almost all service centers. After several months I returned to have the alignment checked and was greeted without being given excuses as to why he couldn't perform the check. I would highly recommend using this Mavis location, (Easton Rd. in Warrington, Pa),. as they are honest and stand behind there work. Thank you John and your staff for making my service a pleasant experience.
