She filed the appropriate documents in court on April 21st, '23, and Judge Wetzel granted an emergency ex parte order to protect my Uncle. Alysse Giles REFUSED to have the order served, did not cooperate or communicate at all with us. After 2 months of doing nothing, she had the case dismissed with no explanation and completely ignored a lawfully issued Order from a judge. She is the type of person that is not trustworthy with any issue that is important to you, based on my experience. She demanded a high fee the second we spoke, acknowledged the danger and need for a fast filing, then took a week off for vacation. There's no way I could recommend this firm. I can only warn you to avoid it.

Now, I may sound like I am in sales, because I used to be. But I was not trying to reach them about their cars extended warranty - I was calling because I was in need of a contract lawyer. I called back immediately, and it went to the IVR where it listed different lawyers. I picked one that was on the name of the firm (assuming it was a partner), informed them of what happened, and told them the person answering the phone needed some remedial training in customer service; after all, why hang up on someone when they could be a prospective client? I received a call the next day, and I believe it was the lawyer that I left a message for. His words: "We do do contract law, but we're not interested in working for you." Apparently, he was offended by my voicemail, claims the person who answered the phone has worked for him for over a decade, and he has never had an issue with her before. Her record has been broken. Here is the thing. If a company treats prospective clients in this manner, I fear how they treat current clients. We had a few words, and then I promptly told him ORC 2917.21 and hung up. If you don't want to work with me, that's fine. If you want to hang up on people, that's fine too; after all, it is your law firm. However, in this day & age, with social media, reviews are not uncommon; favorable, and unfavorable. While I may not be an "influencer" with millions of followers, if anyone asks me if I know a lawyer - for ANY issue - I will be sure to steer them clear of this firm. Very unprofessional behavior.
