What an amazing experience! I did my research on Yelp 1st... Selected a few shops, but really narrowed in on this one. I was in the area and decided to stop in to make an appointment. I was met by a young gentleman who asked if I was interested in getting my piercing done that day. I wasn't expecting the ability to walk-in and get the work performed, but I quickly agreed. Gene was knowledgeable, honest, funny and overall great at what he does. He talked me through re-piercing my nose and getting my very 1st daith piercing. I was in awe w/how great they both look! Went here with a girlfriend to get tattoos. My second, her first. We had Eugene. Everything about the experience was great. They were polite when we came in, helped us pick out the correct designs, and were just all around pleasant the entire time. Eugene kept us entertained with questions and asking us about our hobbies and tastes in music and what not, he certainly made my friend feel very comfortable seeing as it was her first tat and she was so nervous. He even stayed later than closing to make sure we would both satisfied with them before we left. He even added some of his own ideas (after approval of course) which I thought was great. Took the time to make sure my 4 year old understood what was happening and felt comfortable during her ear piercing.

I brought my daughter here tonight to get a nose ring. They were clean, professional and very thorough with protocols and paperwork. Piercing was beautifully done and well placed. We were given very specific aftercare instructions. They are a very busy place! So do your piercer/tattoo artist a favor and show up on time. Client prior to us did not. No big deal for us. This place I thought was great at first until I got the old guy Spaulding. I have gotten Two other tattoos from this place and the guy Eugene did the tattoos and did a beautiful job. One Saturday afternoon I went in there and the old guy was there Spaulding and he said he could do the tattoo behind my ear, all it was was the musical staff And the notes were supposed to be seen through the staff this was in the summer 2015. Fast forward the summer of 2019 and I'm still disappointed in the tattoo I have spent $2000 getting the tattoo removed from behind my ear. It's been excruciating and has been very difficult to look at because it was disgusting. The guy Eugene who had done my previous tattoos offered to try to fix it using some white notes which would've made it even worse! So I continue to work on getting the tattoo removed, And I will never ever go back there again and I'm advising you as well that if you want to get a tattoo there make sure you don't let the old guy Tom Spaulding do it! Everyone here has been nothing but helpful. They are very friendly and eager to work with you. A family member of mine got an old tattoo covered up and Tom did it and it turned out beautifully. They let you pick out a movie and watch it while the work is being done. I know some of the other reviews mentioned the place being dirty, I didn't find that to be true at all. Went here today to get a tattoo. Zack was my tattoo artist. We spoke on the phone the day before I arrived and he gave me his cell phone # so that I could send him my ideas. I of course was nervous as I am not a lover of pain. Arriving at Tattoo World was exciting, walked in the door and it was really clean, nice waiting room. Came into the shop to get my nose piercing changed around 6:00pm. I was told to take seat and I would be helped in a few moments. After waiting a few moments I was brought to the piercing room, took a seat in the black chair, where Gene told me " I will be right back I have to help a person" I said "okay" and patiently sat there. 15 minutes went by Gene did not come back instead he was tattooing another client. I would like to start by saying, Geno is the absolute best. I called tonight in a complete panic. I had gone to another shop to have my nose pierced, the ring was not closed all the way and the ring was no longer coming through on the inside of my nose. He not only stuck around till I got there; he was also extremely kind, helpful, and friendly. He saved my day, and my piercing, and I can't praise him enough. I would recommend him to anyone who asked, he was very thorough about the entire process and made one of the most stressful experiences I have had in a long time seem like nothing. A bit pricey, but it's worth it. I got my navel done here over a year ago. The girl that pierced me was very nice and very efficient; she kept me talking while she did the actual piercing, so before I knew it, it was done. She also took me step by step through the process of how to clean it, how long it generally takes to heal, what to watch out for, etc. They had a great selection of starter jewelry.
