Got a pour over which was delicious and full flavored. They also offer all kind of coffee and espresso drinks, so something for everyone. They also have baked goods that looked delicious but I certainly didn't need it haha. And to the side are all the beans. Most had roast dates within a week, so all super fresh. Love the vibes inside. Very earthy and natural, yet benches were comfortable and I can see getting some work done here. Love this place! I wish I lived closer I'd totally become a regular.

The day we were there he was offering almost 20 varieties!! The smell of roasting beans was incredible! Hempton boasts a SCA professional coffee certification! The place has a rustic feel to it with handcrafted items in the entryway! The coffee bar features several hot pots of Java for sampling! The owner is happy to educate his customers on types of coffee , roasting and brewing techniques. You are encouraged to wonder around and observe the large bags of coffee obtained from around the world! Hempton is a real expert and coffee historian. Ask him about "cowboy coffee". I didn't buy any at the time but I took a picture of the bags as a reminder. On Wednesday, before new years, I went into their store and was instantly greated by amazing smelling coffee grounds. They have such a large array of different types and the owners were amazingly friendly! They didn't happen to have the kind I wanted ready in full sized bags as they were currently roasting it, but they did have it in "sample" sizes. Their samples are absolutely huge btw. I bought their 6 pack sample special and picked out 6 different types. They were great at helping me pick out the right ones for me and threw in an extra bag. They had amazing coffee accessories in hither shop with their awesome art on them! I live their French press drinking mug!! I MUST get it next time I go! Lol I had to run soo many errands afterward and the coffee grounds made my car smell fantastic! When I got home, I immediately opened the box to find a cute card and two chocolates!! I brewed the Drink from the skull of your enemies coffee and OMG. Best coffee ever! My husband even commented several times on how fantastic the coffee was! I just brewed the last of my first sample bag today! One sample made 4bor 5 pots of coffee (cant remember exactly lol) it's amazing and worth every penny, if not more. Their coffee alone is enough to make me a forever customer and to spread word of their amazing grounds but their customer service, friendliness and absolute amazing personability were above and beyond. 10/10, highly recommend this coffee to anyone and everyone with taste buds!

i went in to the wauseon store to get a large french roast with a little ice and a large frozen…read morecaramel marvel. the lady gave me a medium cup of colored water with ice. i guess the water was suppose to be my french roast. so i asked again for a large french roast with a little bit of ice to cool it down. she then tried to give me a medium, after copping an attitude. strike 2, i asked for the large that i had paid for. she got worse on the attitude, strike 3, so i asked for a refund of the coffee. not the marvel drink. was told they would have to charge my card a 2nd time instead of refunding the money for the coffee. told the lady at the register i didnt want my card charged a 2nd time. told them to never mind and walked out with out my coffee or refund. iv been going there for years, NEVER have i had any kinda trouble there with an order. till today. NEVER, have i gotten a bad attitude there till taday. makes me think about going next door to circle k to get a coffee next time.at least there ya dont get an attitude over a cup of coffee.
