If I could give negative stars, I would. This company was an absolute JOKE and they should be investigated. We hired Special Ops to move us out of our home in Aurora, store our belongings for a 3 week period and then move us into our new home in Northern Colorado. It wasn't until our move into our home that we experienced the nightmare that was Special Oops (I mean Ops). I called the day before out move to confirm that everything was on track. Leslie confirmed with me that we were scheduled for a 5/11 delivery with a 3pm-5pm window. She mentioned that they would begin loading their truck with our belongings at 8am and then be on their way. Again, she confirmed all dates and times. On 5/11 (our scheduled moved date) at 4:30pm I had not heard from anyone. I attempted to call. No answer. I tried multiple times with no answer. I was hoping to get an ETA and give more specific directions into the development as our home is not searchable on GPS due to it being new construction. I finally got in touch with "dispatch" around 5pm. He told me when he left the warehouse a couple of hours prior they were still loading my stuff and that "Mike the warehouse manager" would call me in about 15 minutes and if I didn't hear from him, call back. 30 minutes or so later I still hadn't heard from him so I called back. No answer. Mike finally called me and was rather flippant and snarky. He said they didn't start loading the truck until 11am. When I questioned why as Leslie had informed me the loading would begin at 8am he said "well it was close". Um, how is a 3 hour gap considered "close"?! He then became defensive and implied it was our fault because we "have a lot of stuff". If I'm not mistaken, you KNEW how much stuff I had well ahead of time. After all, you DID move it into your pods???? He then said they would be there at 8pm and "not to blow up his phone". 8pm rolls around and still no sign of them. No phone calls, texts, no movers. I try and call. No response. I try texting. Nothing back. He finally responds around 8:30pm to tell me they just finished loading the last pod and that he would call me in 15 minutes. 45 minutes later, nothing. No call, no text, radio silence. We try to call. No answer. We had to call repeatedly (16 times to be exact) to get him to answer the phone. While I do understand there are safety protocols in place while they guys are on lifts making them unable to answer phones, this was completely unacceptably. We received absolutely no communication from these guys on delays, status. We felt like we were being extorted with our own belongings. When Mike finally answered the phone he began cussing out my husband calling him a "pussy ass faggot" and asking him if he wanted to come down to the warehouse to "take care of things". He also threatened to show up the next day (implying there would be some sort of physical altercation). He was yelling at us for calling him over and over. Unfortunately, that was the only way we could get a response out of these people. It was like they were holding our items hostage. We finally got out of him that they would be at our home at 9am the next day. On 5/12 at 9am there was no sight of the movers (surprise). I ended up texting Mike and apologizing for the night before. I felt completely ridiculous for doing so as I am the one who should receive an apology but at this point I was willing to do/say anything to get our stuff! I also asked for their ETA. No response. It wasn't until my husband sent him a text stating that if we didn't hear back from them, we would have to get law enforcement involved that I heard back. Mike thanked me for apologizing saying that it was a long night (he never apologized to me or acknowledged that he was out of line) and said the movers were fueling and in route. At 11:30am they finally show up. When they opened the truck, it looked as though our belongings were just tossed and crammed in there. It was a mess. There was water dripping from the ceiling of the truck, a busted door that was practically rotting. It's a wonder our stuff didn't fall out on the highway on their way up! Boxes marked FRAGILE were crushed, lamps were bent, electrical cords were severed. However, that's minimal to what else we found- They broke all 3 of our TV's. One of them has evidence of water damage and a drop. They broke an antique clock from the late 1800's. Glass completely shattered out of it and the wood broken on the back. All of the pieces on this clock were original (including the glass). This is irreplaceable. I have a 30 year old rocking horse that my grandfather made that they broke the foot off of. We are not sure if our items were broken out of retaliation or they just really didn't give a shit about our stuff. Either way, this entire situation was completely unacceptable and unprofessional! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! THEY WILL LIE AND DESTROY YOUR STUFF!

Moving is a stressful time, when hiring a moving company, you expect that they arrive on time, move everything without damages for if there are issues fully exceed in the experience. I found Special Ops Moving lacking in all these areas. From being 3 hours late, to lying on the whereabouts of the crew, and on damage, while mostly minor it takes more effort than dealing with an insurance company to get any positive response. When Mister Edwards emailed to 'address' my concerns I thought I was reading a canned email spam, not a fourth right apology and drive to address the company's handling of my move. I suggest any on needing professional movers, select another company with a better view towards customer experience.

Two months ago we moved from Denver to outside of Castle Rock. Two huge trucks, five guys and an all day challenge. I was given a quote and they beat it. The quote was substantially lower than other movers. I am thrilled with my choice. I would HIGHLY recommend them and having completed unpacked can tell you not one thing was broken and not one thing is missing or even misplaced. I was given their name by Realtor and she was unsure about them. It was a risk I am glad I took. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. I would use them again and believe out of the 5 moves I made in Colorado they were the most organized, professional and fun. They made a stressful day go quick!

They damaged my refrigerator back in December and I haven't heard one peep from them since. All they had to do was come out and fix it, which they promised to do, but never did. They were late and took a really long time to get me out of my apartment. Quote of the day from a guy with no jacket or gloves, while looking at my apartment, from which I was moving, "So... what should I take next?" Duh. Dude. All of it. read more

We scheduled our move with this company about a month prior to moving. The day of our move they didn't have anyone scheduled to work and we had calls back and forth from 8-11 the morning of our move around them trying to get two guys to come out. After 3 hours of moving ourselves, while they were MIA, they found a second mover to come out. We were already annoyed and informed them to not even show. They had an attitude about refunding our deposit and tried placing the blame on us for cancelling. I can only imagine how the actual move would have gone if they actually had the clerical part down. We found another company to assist with our move of the remainder of our stuff. read more

On follow up with the company they offered to help pay some of extra cost I incurred having to find a last minute moving company on the July 4th weekend. They did apologize and were nice about trying to make it right after having to cancel on me. read more

They quoted one price, we gave a deposit and then they increased the amount of the service over $1200. They would not give us our deposit back. We did not sign a contract with them either. Poor way to do business with your fellow veterans. You will not get a good reference from us so others be warned!!! read more

STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I'm going to try and keep this short because this company does not deserve anymore of my time. When the movers had dumped my things in my new house, they wanted me to complete the paperwork. I walked through the house and noticed that the beds were not put back together, my furniture was not placed where I requested, my home gym was put in the middle of the kitchen, the sofa cushions and pillows were piled in the middle of the room, etc. I asked if they were planning on putting my three beds back together. The mover told me they were. I asked if he wanted to complete the paperwork after the beds were put together. He told me not to worry about it and it would be fine. I completed the paperwork as he requested. He asked if I'd like to add any gratuity. I did. Then, they drove away without putting my beds together. I was shocked. The movers had just lied to my face while asking for gratuity at the same time. I called the company to report what had just happened. The woman who answered told me she'd let their manager know. I called back 30 minutes later after not hearing from anyone. The woman told me she spoke with their manager. She told me their manager told them to go back to my house to put the beds together. The movers said no, they were already back at the warehouse. She said when they tracked their truck via GPS, they were still in Parker (where I live - their warehouse is in Denver). She said they were being insubordinate and this seemed shady. She said she would conference me in with the manager. I spoke with James, the manager, who said he would come put my beds together himself before the end of the day. He said it might take him a couple of hours to get to my house. He never showed up. I left multiple messages with no response from him. Mike, the owner (although I asked who he was, he didn't tell me he was the owner), called to let me know he was trying to find a crew to put my beds together. He didn't. The next morning, Mike sent a crew over to put my beds together. I handed them the bag of screws/bolts. The original movers had put all of the screws/bolts for my 3 beds in one bag. This new crew was not able to figure out how to put my beds together. They made progress, but were unable to put my beds together. I texted Mike to give him that update. No response. I texted James to give him the same update. He asked who makes the beds. I told him two were used and one was from AFW. He wanted to know if I had instructions. I told him the best resource on how to put them back together were the two movers who took them apart. He said he would see what he has available. I never heard back from him. The next day, I realize it's up to me to put these beds together. After putting some pieces together, I notice that the 2nd crew used some of the wrong pieces on the bed that were supposed to be on the other bed. I couldn't get these pieces off. I texted James and asked him to send someone to help. No response. I took the piece to Home Depot, who didn't have the part, and then to Lowe's, who thankfully had the part I needed. I bought the three parts I needed. After spending half a day, I was able to put the beds together. Although one bed still has the wrong parts on two corners. I was never able to get those parts off. I called Special Ops and asked to speak to Mike's or James' boss. I was told Mike is the owner of the company. I called Mike and spoke with him. He said sorry and I would've paid more anyway if the original movers would have stayed. He said they probably left because they put all of the screws and bolts for all three beds in one bag. I told him I wanted a partial refund and at the very least my gratuity should be refunded. He said he would talk to his partner and get back in touch with me within 1-2 hours. And yes, you guessed it, I haven't heard back from him. I called him and left him a message to let him know I'm writing a review of his company online and calling the Better Business Bureau, which I intend to do next. I hope no one has to experience the nightmare that I did. They knew I was a single mom and couldn't put these beds together myself and they lied to me anyway while asking for a tip. This company has horrible customer service. I can't believe they're still in business treating people the way they do. read more

My first negative review on Yelp. I should have read all the other reviews. Showed up with 3 guys to move a cast iron bathtub I told them was 500 lbs. They didn't "think" they would need a dolly (go figure). After a couple hours left having done nothing. I gave them an extra day to get a dolly, people, whatever and they didn't show. Called another company and they moved it with 2 guys no problem. My contractor also said one of the guys was wandering around the house taking pictures. Next call is to the police. read more

I hired Special Ops Moving and unfortunately, they did an awful job. They destroyed the desk and hutch and dropped the desk and ruined the wooden floors. I filed a claim and they denied even though they had all the pictures, documentation, etc. The men that did the move were not physically able to do the job and didn't have the knowledge to move. One of the movers even left during the move and didn't return. We had to remove the doors and put the beds together for them. I would never recommend this company. read more

My experience with Special Ops Moving was absolutely awful. I was misled the entire day on what time the movers were going to be showing up. I eventually reached out to the manager of Special Ops, who was arrogant, condescending, and unwilling to offer any amount of help. Instead, he wanted to point out how many moves (3000 apparently) that he personally completes every year, in addition to pointing out how bad ratings for the BBB are online. One of the most unprofessional individuals I have ever spoken with. I do not recommend using this moving company, and would avoid at all costs. read more

These movers were the worst movers I've ever used, and I've moved many times. First, they called and said they were coming early. The arrival window was from 9 to 10, and they called around 8, so I figured they would arrive soon after. I wasn't very happy with an early arrival, but I agreed. They did not arrive until after 9:30. Everything seemed okay for a while until they dropped an entire box of dishes, marked FRAGILE on every surface, down the stairs. An entire box! Then the plan was to go to a storage facility to drop of some of the stuff. I gave them the address and off we went. Except they got lost. For 30 minutes. Which they charged me for. There were complications so we had to use another storage facility, but that could have been figured out within 5 minutes if they had not gotten lost. Getting everything into storage went smoothly. However, once we got to my new place, these guys decided to go extra slow. One of them decided just to hang out in the truck for a good chunk of time that I was paying 2 movers for. They lost the cables to my printer. They lost the screws to the mirror that attaches to my dresser, which they'd promised they'd taped to the back. Except they never taped them there. They broke so many of my dishes. I've moved many times and usually lose a dish or two, but these guys literally threw my fragile boxes down the stairs, so I guess I shouldn't be so surprised that so many dishes are broken. Overall, a horrible experience. Do not use these movers at any cost. read more

These guys were WONDERFUL!! We had to move my mom, who had been in her place for twelve years, and accumulated wayyyy too much stuff! I think her "stuff" was deceiving in that everything had a place and was well organized! She was given a quote, after they came and looked at everything unpacked. She ended up having way more than anticipated, which of course took longer! And to make matters worse, she was moving into an elderly community where the access to the building was not very "mover friendly"! All that being said, I cannot rave on these guys enough!! They were extremely courteous, so very careful with someone else's belongings, and THEY NEVER STOPPED MOVING!! These guys hoofed it for hours on end, carrying several boxes on their backs at every go! I really don't know how they did it!? They were always aware of the time quoted, and set out to beat that quote! On the other end, moving everything into the new place, which was on the third floor, with an elevator (this slowed them down considerably) they worked sooo hard! And they were bummed that it took them a lot longer than quoted (none of it being their fault!) but they honored the quote provided to my elderly mother! If I would have had an extra couple hundred bucks laying around I would have willingly and happily given it to them as they truly deserved it! They were amazing. Plain and simple. And there is no way my husband and I could have accomplished it without them! Thank you special ops guys! You were the BEST!! I have never been so impressed by a moving company and we've moved many times in my life! These guys are dedicated, honest, hard working, and honorable. You'd be stupid not to hire them over other companies! read more

These guys were great. They worked with my changing schedule and checked in the day of to remind me. William and Paul showed up on time and were friendly and professional. They assured me that my oversize couch would fit in my new place and they made it happen. 2 flights of stairs down and out, then 2 floors up and in to the new place. They were great. I have always moved myself and was wary of just any movers. I definitely recommend these guys and this company and will use them again the next time I have to move. read more

Special Ops is top-notch on all aspects of moving. I only gave them a few days notice on my move and they were more than willing to accommodate me! The process was seamless ...which is a difficult task to pull off. A city move (golden triangle) is never easy and they were on time, quick, and extremely patient as I sorted through what went into the place...what went to storage and what I wanted to donate. Joe and his team were beyond helpful and made sure I had everything placed where I wanted it. They went above and beyond as I accidently and unknowingly 'donated' a box of personal items. Joe contacted me immediately so I could retrieve it. Special Ops attention to detail and overall professionalism exceeded my expectations. Another added bonus is that they will take donations for vets! Highly recommend read more

This was the worst move I've ever experienced. This company ripped us off and was completely dishonest. I will never recommend this company to anyone. I had a quote for a two-man crew, and was told it would take five hours at the absolute most. Three guys showed up. I was immediately told that one guy was in training, so we would only be charged for the two-man rate. Then at the end of the move, I was handed the phone and told to speak with the crew lead's boss, who proceeded to tell me that I was being charged for the three-man rate. He wouldn't budge. He said he would give me a "discount" for the "inconvenience", which ended up being a measly 10% of a bill that was way higher than it should've been in the first place. It was supposed to be $425 for the move and it ended up being over $700 even with the "discount". The crew was really slow and took way too long. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! We decided to go with Special Ops moving based on price and being a veteran this company says they support veteran agencies, not sure that is true. Our move was on December 30th 2016. We closed on our old house and new purchased house on the same day. After talking to the person booking us it was determined that there would be no problem moving the same day as closing, first mistake.. They promised us that they would be at our house early and would be no problem being out of our house so at closing we could turn over the keys to a clean empty house. Movers showed up about 4 hours late, everyone in panic mode since the new owners were taking possession of their house soon and we were not out. The buying agent was so mad that they withheld funding until they were assured we would be out. Movers packed up and got our trucks loaded and headed to our house. We had boxed our things so it should be a pretty easy move. We did not take out their additional insurance on our goods. Movers asked our son if he could use his sound bar to stream his music, he agreed. Sound bar was stolen. We checked the empty house before leaving, nothing left. Movers told my son they would take it to the new house, didn't happen. When I talked to the manager he stated that they had informed him that they left it at the old house, that was a lie. Manager said that if no one owned up to taking it, he would take the cost to replace it from each of the movers. He also said he would take care of this personally. He also said I should call the police and file a report. I did call the sheriff and talked with them, problem is in the contract there is a process to reclaim missing or damaged items and a stolen item report would be difficult to prosecute. I'm pretty sure that is why the manager told me to file a report, knowing there was nothing they could do. We are almost to the 6 month mark and no one will return my phone call. We also had major items either broken or damaged. The claims department says they are working on it and had to get approval from a manager, still no reply. I guess I will have to go a different legal route to reclaim out property. If I could give zero stars I would. Buyer beware. If anything goes wrong with your move be prepared to just call it a loss. read more

Do not count on this company! They didn't show because "it was cold", then they "couldn't find a gas station", then " picked up the wrong directions " and decided to do a different job first, despite the fact they were already 5 hours late. The person answering their phones couldn't care less. If you take a chance on these people, you should have a plan B. read more

Would recommend looking somewhere else- took 4 hours to move from a studio apartment to another residence less than a mile away. Have done this move with the same amount of belongings and to a farther distance, and it took those movers under 2 hours. Inefficient moving company, takes advantage of the hourly rate. read more

My husband and I scheduled Special Ops Moving, August 26th 2016. I payed the $100 deposit and signed a contract, and was told the movers would come between 4:00PM and 5:00PM. Shortly after 5, no one had showed up yet so I contacted the number provided on my contract and an employee named Robert answered the call. He said he would look into it and call me right back. At 6:15PM, the movers from Special Ops Moving still hadn't shown up or contacted me and there was no word from Robert. I called back and after several missed calls, Robert finally answered saying that the movers were finishing up another job and would call me within 5-10 minutes to update me on their arrival time. 7:00PM and STILL no word from the crew. I called Robert again, who was now ignoring me and my husband's calls. He finally texted me from a different number and said he was on the phone with the crew right then. So we waited to hear what they had to say and NOTHING. At 8:00PM, I received a call from the Owner of Special Ops Moving, Mike, who said he had talk to Robert and wanted to get my side of the story and see what was going on. I told him exactly what happened. He asked me if I still expected them to move me since it was so late and I told him absolutely, that we had been waiting 4 hours, had no bed to sleep in and everything was packed up and waiting for them. At 9 o'clock PM, 5 hours after the scheduled moving time, three movers showed up in a truck. They were rude and mishandled our belonging, banging dressers into walls, chucking bags like they were trash and carelessly shoving the furniture into the truck. When the truck was loaded at 11:45 my husband and I left for the new house and we waited for them. At 12:30AM they still hadn't arrived, so I had to call several times to find out where they were. They had stopped to get food while we waited, exhausted and anxious for them to arrive. One of the movers asked my husband for an iPhone charger to charge his phone while they unloaded, and he let it charged in the kitchen. Meanwhile, countertops were cracked, floors were scratched and walls were scrapped as they again carelessly moved the furniture into our new home. They finished at 1:30AM. I signed the contract and handed over my credit card information in tears, I just wanted them to leave! When they finally left, trash and cigarette butts littered the driveway and the place was a disaster, not to mention the phone charger my husband had let them borrow was now gone. When I complained to Mike, the owner of Special Ops Moving, the next morning about my immense frustration and disappointment, he would do nothing to make it right. He claimed he had preformed great customer service for finding me a crew to move us so late. I asked for a partial refund and he refused any sort of compensation for the emotional stress, physical damage to our belongings or the mess the movers left behind. This has been the most horrific customer service experience my husband and I have ever had! Never in my life have I dealt with such an unprofessional, disrespectful and unreliable company. My husband and I are truly horrified by what took place and hope that no one ever has to go through what we did with Special Ops Moving. read more

Absolutely the best movers I have dealt with. Had a 1,100 # gun safe that needed to go down into a basement. After the safe company bailed on me, then one other bid for $800, and numerous cos. saying they could not even do the job, I found these guys. They came out, gave a bid upfront, did the job next day. Like previous reviews they are great - they call before to confirm everything, let you know when they will be there, confirm he address, etc... and bust out the job. They also have better equipment which allowed them to do the job when others could not. Can't say enough good things about people like this. I even gave them a tip - and I never tip! But they truly deserved it. Highly recommend. read more

My parents used this company to move and I was shocked at the amount of damage to their furniture. It wasn't just a minor scratch, it was gouged, dented, and huge chucks the size of your thumbs were missing on a few pieces. They broke 2 wheels on a rolling tv stand. I was just amazed they didn't know how to wrap and pack a truck to avoid damage. I had less damage packing my own stuff and traveling 3,000 miles then they did to move 3 miles. Yes 3 miles and tons of damage. Horrible company. They didn't even offer to pay for a furniture repair company to come out and try to fix the damage. read more

My sisters and I hired Special Ops after seeing them in our complex. I had researched other companies and even pursued hiring our own trucks and independent movers. Both the cost and inconvenience were too much. Our move was a bit more complex than most as we needed items delivered to 6 different locations going in two entirely different directions. We hired two crews. Chuck and Guy (Orange team) came to make 3 deliveries and Ivan and Erik (Black team) came to handle another route. All four men arrived on time, were prepared and knowledgeable, and very professional. What could have turned out to be a really chaotic, even disastrous, moving experience actually went extremely smoothly and was kind of fun. The four men worked as a team, helping each other out when needed, and did an excellent job of preparing (shrink wrapping and protecting) our items for the move and carefully loading them on the trucks. Kelly at Special Ops was very easy to work with during the planning stage that required many phone calls as we finalized the details on our end. According to the men, we did two things that really helped make the move go smoothly. First, by hiring two trucks, we were able to create two direct routes for delivery and therefore no back tracking. Second, my sister color coded all the items to be packed to indicate the order for loading and unloading each truck, and also therefore indicating into which truck each item would be loaded. With some pre planning and two great teams of movers, our move went smoothly and quickly. Special Ops was up front about the costs, there is nothing hidden. We paid a one time "service charge" which covered the use of the truck, gas, mileage, admin, and packing supplies (shrink wrap, tape, blankets). After that we paid an hourly fee from the time the men clocked in at our site (as opposed to when they left their facility) to the time the last item was in place at that last delivery. The men worked FAST! They never stopped packing and loading and knew the quickest, while safest, way to get the job done. The teams took their time driving between locations which we appreciated as they had some of our most valued items in their trucks. We want to thank Special Ops for helping us through this challenging move and would definitely not only recommend them but also work with them again in the future. read more

Moved my items from a storage facility to my new home. One crew member was a veteran mover and the other two were clearly hired that day off the street. They do NOT hire military veterans exclusively. I refused to allow a mover to move any of my personal and valuable items. I moved my gun safe and other items into my home before they arrived. On moving day they moved my things into a garage and the furniture into the areas of the home where each item belonged. They stacked items in front of my gun safe. I found out after I'd moved the items stacked in front of my gun safe, one of these movers had gone through my overnight bag and retrieved the key to the gun safe and stole my Beretta handgun. I've reported this theft to the company and to the police and I've yet to reach any resolution. DO NOT USE this service. They clearly care little about your personal security and safety. read more

Special Ops Moving used to conduct business under another name, Movers Connection Inc. At the end of April 2015 I called several companies for quotes to move my One Bedroom loft furniture to my new apartment. After receiving several quotes, they were the best and the time they scheduled to move me was convenient. Unfortunately they rescheduled on me three times. I had taken time off work to do this and lost two days of work. When they eventually got to my loft ( 2 hours late ), they moved quickly. When wrapping up the glass for my coffee table, one of the movers walked right over it and broke the glass. They took pictures of the broken glass and called their claims department to get a claim started. They assured me it would be taken care of immediately. We were supposed to meet at my new apartment 45 minutes later. They got there 1 1/2 hours later, saying they stopped for lunch. Unfortunately, we were paying per hour. It took 4 hours to get everything back in my new apartment. A quote of $350 turned into $750. After they left, I realized my bedside table leg had been broken and several other items that had been carefully packed and labeled Fragile were also damaged. I called, emailed several times for weeks. There was no response until a month and half later from the claims department telling me I had to file my own claim. I started the process and the insurance company they were using did not have any record of them starting the claim or sending the picture of the damage. I tried several times to get a copy of the picture and they ignored me. In Sept 2015 I received an email from the claims department stating they had changed claim companies, and gave me the new information. I tried to file a claim with them, but needed the picture of the damage. I was never able to get this from Movers Connection. After the holidays, I tried to get this resolved again, only to find out the company had gone out of business. I gave up at this point thinking I had no resolve. I called the claims company to find out if I had any options, and when I spoke with them, they told me they had dissolved any claims with them because of their poor business practices. They did tell me to try and get it paid through the new company name they currently operate business through, which is Special Ops Moving. I have repeatedly left messages to try to get this resolved without bring the BB's involvement. I had no choice but to submit this complaint to the BBB. Currently pending... read more

This company is a joke. I contacted them to schedule a local move in Colorado Springs (which their website says they service). I even had a video chat with Leslie so she could see what items we needed to have moved. She gave me an estimated time of 2 1/2 - 3 hours for 3 movers to load and unload belongings and the hourly rate would be $42.50 for each mover. for a total of $127.50 per hour. We packed and boxed everything in our home and had it in the garage ready for the movers. The only items left in the house was a disconnected washer & disconnected dryer, a loveseat and sofa. I gave my deposit about 2 weeks before my move and was given an arrival time frame of 8:00 - 9:00 am. I even received a call the day prior confirming my move and was again told that the movers would be there between 8-9am. So the morning of the move, we get up at 5:00 am to move the mattresses downstairs (thank goodness we wrapped our own mattresses). My boyfriend stayed at the old house waiting for the movers while I went to the new house to meet with the internet and cable installers. So at 9:30, my boyfriend calls asking where the movers are. I call dispatch and I'm told they should be there any minute, but she will call them and find out. Low and behold, the movers call my boyfriend about 5 minutes later and tell him that they are just now leaving Denver, which means they won't arrive until about 11:00. I call dispatch back and tell them this and she tries to apologize but than proceeds to give me the "song and dance" about why they give a window of time. I told her I understand a window of time due to the fact that they are coming from Denver, but I expected them to be at my house between that window, not leave Denver during that window. Now comes the frustrating part, about 11:15, my boyfriend calls again saying they still haven't showed up, so I tell him I'll call dispatch again, well before I can even hang up the phone, the moving truck pulls up in front of the new house. Only 2 movers get out of the truck. I immediately walk up to them and ask "why are you here, you're suppose to be at the old address to load up the stuff". The head mover Brooklyn asks me "this isn't the loading address? I tell him know this is the "unloading address, why are you here?, I immediately call dispatch and tell them they showed up at the wrong address, there are only 2 movers although my written estimate says there will be 3 and I'm not paying for their time to arrive at the wrong address. They finally start loading at 11:40 (almost 3 hours late). Around 12:30, I get a call from dispatch asking me if someone called me about my bill, I told them "NO". She said the hourly rate would be $99, which I immediately said NO, it should only be $85 an hour since only 2 movers arrived ($42.50 per mover). She finally agreed and said once the movers were finished unpacking, they would call the office and we would go over the bill and then I would pay the bill. Well that was B.S. Immediately once the movers arrived at the new house, Brooklyn came in and demanded I pay for 3 1/2 hours (2 hours to load and drive to the new house and 1 1/2 hours to unload). I told him that is not what the lady that called me said would happen. So now we are both on our phones with different people trying to figure out the mess. He is talking to someone in the office and I'm on the phone with dispatch (the only person who would return my calls all day). So I agree to pay the 3 1/2 hours at $85 per hour, plus the flat rate of $85 for mileage, travel & gas. Unbeknownst to me, Brooklyn is outside telling the person who is talking to that I'm refusing to pay and that person is telling him to just drive off with my stuff and it doesn't matter, cuz she has my credit card information so she'll just charge my card. Trust me when I tell you that I went "ape shit". I called dispatch back and let them know that if additional charges were put on my card, it would be reported as fraud and I would be calling the Sheriff's office to put them on stand-by that the movers were threatening to steal my belongings and double charge me for the move. I immediately called my bank and the Sheriff's office. They finally unloaded my stuff, which due to all the unnecessary phone calls added an additional 30 minutes to the unload. I paid the extra 30 minutes, but let me say this....DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY LIE, CHEAT AND TRY TO STEAL YOUR STUFF. read more

The only reason I give even 1 star is because the two-man team, which started as a three-man team, (the third man was fired mid move for the destruction of one of our dining room chairs) worked hard. They showed up on time, but came with a truck that was too small for all of our furniture, and inadequate supplies to do the job. Their behavior was juvenile, each trying to prove that they were the strongest and most capable. They disassembled much of our furniture and spent a great deal of time rearranging things in the truck to get it to fit. As a result, we ended up with a lot of damaged, and as I stated before, destroyed furniture. We were given an estimate of 9 hours to complete the move. When the movers arrived, they said they would have it done in 5, which would save us money...16 LONG HOURS LATER, (10:30 a.m. Sunday til 2:00 a.m. Monday) our NIGHTMARE was complete! We ended up with most of the furniture scratched, the washer and dryer banged up and dented, and a wall in the new house caved in. We did receive a call on Monday from William Edwards who was most apologetic and assured us that this just never happens. He promised he would pay for the damage to our wall if we would send him an estimate. We supplied him with the paper work and have spoken with him and emailed him many times to no avail. Each time he says he appreciates the "reminder" and he will send the check for the repairs that we have had done. It has been 6 months and we still have not been compensated.. We used this company because we felt like they were doing a good thing hiring the ex-military, etc. Instead, I think just the opposite. If you want one of the WORST EXPERIENCES of your life and you want all your personal belongings damaged and/or destroyed, then, by all means use this company. My advice...DON'T read more

Terrible experience. they did not wrap or protect most items. Several items were damaged and I have received a runaround, including lying to me about when people would come to repair. Now they don't even call me back. So they have stuck me and have no intention of fixing, repairing or reimbursing for any damaged items. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! From the start of our move to the finish was a nightmare! We planned our move a month in advance. They were to pack our complete property and unload at the storage. The location was 2-1/2 hours away which they knew about. They were to bring boxes etc all included in the scope of work and the price. The day of the move they didn't even get to the location till 1:00 p.m. All the things were to be packed and delivered the same day to storage. That didn't happen. They were then supposed to meet me at the storage at 8:00 a.m. the next day and didn't get here till 9:00. Upon arrival they informed us they left a bed behind at the location. They didn't have the tools they said. Who leaves things behind and doesn't tell you? We had a land line so to say they couldn't communicate was a joke. There reason for the delay in start was having to pick up boxes. Don't you have those the night before? Many other little things but this is the meat of the story. I was able to negotiate a discount with the owner who was very apologetic at the time. So if that was the end of the story life would be fine but the next day i get a call from the cleaning lady to inform me there were not 1 but 2 beds left behind and drawers of other things. I text the owner the pictures and he agrees to send the guys back up to remove the remaining items. We were to meet at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday and the guys didn't show till noon. Then they brought their personal vehicle which Im sure was not insured to carry my belongings. No boxes to pack up the other items left and no room to transport all the times left behind because upon our arrival we saw they didn't get any of the items in the shed or porch which was all outlined in the bid and a email before the move. So we had to pack up our truck with our belongings and watch our 700.00 bed be bungie cord strapped to the back of a truck to travel a hour on a dirt road then into town that way. I texted the owner about them being late and having no room and no boxes he told me to just let them do their job. Upon talking to the guys they said they were unaware of all the other items that were left behind so of course they had no room, and also they were not getting paid for the day since it was their fuck up. You can't put it all on your guys if you don't give them the proper information. So shameful. So after a 9 hour day driving up to the cabin (which we shouldn't of had to do) our nightmare with this company is over. If you are looking for a reliable moving company this is not it. Keep looking! And using the Military to solicit business is plan wrong! I would like to see their books and if they give money of every move to the Military cause they sure don't represent them! read more

If there was a negative star I would give this company just that!! WORST company I have ever dealt with!!! DO NOT use them!!! I originally selected this company due to them supporting the military, now after using them and all of their lies I wonder if that is even true!! We were given a time frame of 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., finally at 11:00 we called them and of course no one answered either number (they never answer their phones). After approx 10 tries Michael answered and we were told "oh sorry the movers they were sending had to finish up a job from the previous night and they should be there shortly" . Michael said he would call back in 15 minutes and give us an update as to their location and timing, well after 30 minutes still no phone call. Called again, again no answer. Finally got someone to answer after 45 minutes and again were told they should be there any minute. Well long story short they didn't show up until 1:30 p.m. and the movers told us that they had to be called in as they didn't have anyone scheduled to come to our house that day (even after Michael telling us at least 3 times the crew was on their way)!! Needless to say they didn't get done until almost 10:00 p.m. and they actually wanted me to pay for 8 1/2 hours of work when I was told originally it would take 4 - 5 hours. I had told the company several times that I had very heavy furniture and told the movers when they arrived, well they said that is what took so long (having to move all of the big heavy furniture). While I was standing there watching them move the dryer, they tried to cram it through my back door and it got stuck, one of the movers said oh I don't think that will fit need to go out the front door, so they did. Well when they unloaded the dryer (which is 1 year old) the door was damage and didn't shut and the side was all scratched with a dent in it. Then noticed they had not put a plastic bag on one of my mattresses and box springs (which I provided and they had put them on the other two beds) so the mattress was dirty and all torn up on one end like they just slid it into the truck and out when they delivered it. Doing more checking for damage, huge nicks out of my night stand (solid mahogany wood). Also broke a marble top table. Update: just heard back on my damage claim today, they want to pay me $30.00 for the damage to the marble table top only) what a JOKE!!!!! This company needs to be investigated!!! read more

Special Ops Moving: I think when people are having a bad day, you should still treat others good. I understand that there can be a lot of stress moving people everyday, but please show respect to others as they are atleast paying for your services. You are representing a business! As far as I'm concerned, one star is too much. First, let me say that I am actively serving in the 'Special Operations' community, so I find it highly offensive that a company would operate so poorly and have the nerve to use such a name. I was recently out of country for work and trusted a second-hand recommendation to use these yahoos to move my household belongings. My lady tells me the following. Three guys show up, several hours late, in an unmarked truck. They moved slowly and aimlessly and took several breaks. Suspicious of such a poor work ethic, my lady asked about past military service, to which only one guy answered to only being in long enough to get boots. After finally loading, hours beyond the initial quote, they head for Denver, to the new house. They show up considerably late and their excuse is that they got lost on the way. They take their time unloading as well, complaining about where they are directed to place our goods. They over stacked boxes and containers causing ones on the bottom to crush. After taking too long and excessive complaining, my lady began helping the guys unload the truck. Apparently that upset them so they started making comments, one of which was, "f**k it, let's let this B*tch unload the sh*t herself." After all was said and done, the bill came to over $600. We have complained to the company and apparently the supposed 'owners'. More disappointment... Unanswered calls and messages. They did not dispute the poor service of their workers, but also did not offer any compensation for the excessive time used for the move. One 'owner' said, "good luck trying to get any money refunded, the company has no money to pay you back anyway." He also proceeded to tell us that we can't effect their business because they have a long-standing contract with multiple veteran's organizations. I have never felt so mistreated and disrespected by a company. Especially one that claims to be so appreciative and accommodating to military veterans. Do yourself a favor, stay away from these fakes! Reading the other reviews I notice a trend. For every bad review, it appears that a friend of the company or employee posts a good review. Very dry and scripted... No other way to account for such a contrast in reviews. read more

I wish there was a way were you could review with NO stars or Negative stars. I cannot believe the type of customer service this company possesses. I scheduled this move a week prior to my appointment and placed a deposit to make sure the appointment was secured. My move time was suppose to be 2/28/16 between 12-2, I received a call at 10am on the day of move and was told that they would be running about an hour late and would be to my destination by 3. Then they called and suggested I reschedule the appointment for another day. I could not do so as 1. My son started school in the new area of living Monday 2/29 2. I work in that area as well 3. I would have to pay another storage fee of $120.00 if not moved out by 3/1. They said not to worry that they would get me moved even if it meant it was late. 4:30pm comes around and I receive a call that they are about 45 minutes away. I head to the storage unit with my car filled to the top with boxes, 4 cats who haven't used the restroom in 5 hours due to me packing the litter box thinking I would have been moved by then, and a 10 year old son who had been waiting all day to get moved and was hungry. 5:45 I receive a call that they are at the address and that there is no storage unit there, I advised that they must have been at the wrong place and that I could send them the address, I was told that they had the address and would gps it again. 20 mins. later I got a call that they were at the gate of the storage unit, advised them they were not as I was standing at the gate, the guy told me that I was staring right at him and that I had my unit open, told him again that he was at the wrong place, he continued to argue with me (like I don't know where I stored my things).. I then told him I didn't understand why they couldn't get to the correct location as GPS shouldn't give them all these different destinations and that I had had the dispatch clarify that the address was indeed the one I had given her. Jamal told me "this is what the fuck you are going to do, you are going to drop your fuckin attitude or you will not be moved at all" I told him "drop my attitude you are nearly 7 hours late and I still have to load my stuff, haul it an hour away, and unload it putting me at nearly midnight before the job is done" he told me fine I'm not dealing with you and I am going home. Called dispatch and was told I would be moved the following day at 2pm. The following day arrives and I receive a call at 10am that they cannot move me because they are low staffed, ridiculous.. needless to say worst experience ever, had to call into work, reserve a uhaul and pay some friends to take time out of their day to help me.. Guess it was a blessing in disguise. I paid $170 for the uhaul (had 10 hours to use it) paid $100 total to my friends, paid $25 to fill the uhaul back to where it needed to be, and had it all loaded, moved, and unloaded in 4 hours. This place is an absolute joke.. And after reviewing all the reviews I'm amazed they are even in business still.. read more

The company charges a 2 hour minimum (which is pretty standard with any moving company). When the two movers arrived, the younger one was high, while the older one seemed irritated that I lived on the 3rd floor. I informed them that they'd be moving furniture only (honestly very few items from a one bedroom apartment) and as soon as they knew that, they started carrying down one item at a time. One kitchen chair at a time, one lamp at a time, things that could have definitely been carried in multiples. My furniture was scratched and damaged. I'm disappointed in my experience. The only plus side is that some portion of what I paid went to help veterans (hopefully). read more

DO NOT!!!!!!USE THIS COMPANY.They also go by Father and Sons and Movers connection I used them before and had good Luck. So I tried them for storage of my things after my Husband had passed away and I wasn't sure what i was going to do. They were to deliver it 7/2/2016 between 1pm and 3pm . Made me pay $955.00 before they would deliver it. That was $260.00 for removeing it from storage area (vaults 4) and inventorying it. $99.00 for truck and 6hrs to unload. It only took them 4 hrs to wrap mark and count when they picked it up. 3pm no one no call. After third call they called me they were caught in trafffic.Left my son at house drove to office locked no answer.Drove home no traffic problem either way. Kept calling . 5:45 a jamal called asked if i'd be home so they could deliver. I said yes and asked why they weren't her earlier. He went off on me . Asked for money and said if I had an attitude when he got here he'd drop it in the yard. wouldn' unload until I signed all areas even one which should have been when they were through. I wanted my things so I signed it and kept my mouth shut until they were done. Jamel said they did not inventory it had no idea how many boxes or furniture he said it took them 21/2 hrs to load and it took 21/2 hrs to unload 5hrs. He put down 7 hrs. total $955.00 what I had paid. Called and wrote to management no response. Acacia called left message that they did remove inventory and it to them 6hrs.; So I get no refund. all wrapping off all furniture, boxes had gotten wet, they were crushed, boxes opened and gone through missing items antique curio leg broken scroll work on top tore not returned, all items covered with dirt big spill on my matress, looks like coffee i had zippered covers on them gone. I'm 72 and worked more than 50yrs. I'm not taking this lying down. Ginger Craig Aurora Co 7/6/2016 read more

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY - you will be sorely tested! HORRIBLE and protracted experience. With the exception of one person at this company, all the rest we had to interact with were unprofessional, rude, unreliable and non-communicative. This is not a joke, and not exaggerated. I have read the review guidelines. I have never posted a review on social media at all, and this is our 10th move. I feel passionate about protecting others from blundering into working with this terrible company. We are devastated with the outcome to our home items. Over half of our items are ruined with stains, grease, deep scratches on wood items,,,, and the service was awful. Disrespectful delivery men. Passive-aggressive behavior with other staff members with setting the delivery date and time at all. The first day, we waited in vain for 8 hours for our delivery, after paying them upfront for the move-in, and upfront for storage. They NEVER CAME to deliver, would NOT return telephone messages or texts. Then, they claimed we had not signed the requisite form for delivery, even though they had e-mailed it months prior, it was incorrect, and NOT updated to the new correct delivery address. This took over 40 telephone calls, texts, and e-mails TRYING to get them to give us another delivery date. Leslie was the ONLY person there that helped us, or we likely would STILL not have our home contents. For the re-try/re-schedule delivery date: We waited for 7.5 hours - all day with two small children hoping to see their cherished items that had been in storage - they were meant to arrive in a 11:00 - 1:00 'window', , they would NOT call us with check-in to see where they were, and they FINALLY arrived at 7:00 p.m., had the contents jumbled and tangled in the back of the truck , nothing was protected, or wrapped, the dining table top was literally dropped onto the new hardwood floor, our child's small couch, a cherished memory of the nursery, had huge grease stains on it, another small couch was mashed and misshapen and the pillows used to hold up items on the FLOOR BED of the dirty truck itself. Seriously, the majority of our items that we did not box ourselves are ruined. TERRIBLE HORRIBLE treatment from everyone in the company we spoke with, (except Leslie) to the very mean and 'punishing' dispatch, storage and delivery men. DO NOT USE! NOT EVEN ONE STAR IS EARNED, but I had to check one off to get this to post. UNPROFESSIONAL. UNRELIABLE. Very sorry we used them. read more

I wish I had read the BBB review of this place before choosing them. It was horrible!! They quoted me 5 hrs and that was generous they said and I finally had to kick them out of my home after 7 hours! All I had them do was move the big furniture into my new home and leave all boxes in garage. It took me weeks to get all the boxes moved in. They drove wrecklas and very slow on the highway and took the longest ways possible. They neglected to even cover my stone top dining room table and just put it in the truck uncovered when they had stacks of blankets and it is scratched and destroyed and when I filed a claim 5 months ago they just now got back to me and want to only give me $40 for my 10 person, stone top dining table. What the hell do I do with $40!! One of the movers also delibritly dropped a box of my family China and broke all in the box and again they wanted to give me $10 for it. You don't even deal with the company when filing a claim it's a third party that never responds to your emails and of course no phone number to call. Trust me just pay a little more and use a better company!!! read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I was told a window of 9-10 am (after I gave a deposit of course). I get a call the night before that I will be notified 30 minutes before the movers show up. At 9:43 am I finally called. They need to replace a battery in the truck and they should be there at noon. I verified this more than once with the caller. I notify the 'office' of this change and ask if there will be a discount because of the inconvenience. Of course there won't be. At 12:40 pm I am still waiting...with no call. I call multiple times and go straight to voice mail. I left multiple messages and emailed with no response. I finally call the random number that called me in the morning and get what I can only assume is one of my movers. He says 'my boss was supposed to call you'. Well he didn't. I ask what time they will be there and he can't tell me a time. Now why would I allow such an unprofessional company handle my personal property? I cancelled the move and asked for my deposit back. Do not use this company!!! read more

I used these guys for a few different reasons. They were a reasonably priced company, but highly unimpressed with the overall ability of the movers. The lead mover consistently said how tired he was because he works two jobs and just drove in from Wyoming. His work ethic and lack move speed showed this the entire time. I had shared that there was a washer and dryer that also needed moved. When called in the morning I did let them know that there would need to be tools brought. This was forgotten. I had to run around to the neighbors to borrow since mine was packed away. So frustrating. When talking to their boss because they couldn't get the washer out after breaking a hose and scratching the washer I was told they can't move it, due to the great cost they were incurring. I removed pieces of the door which I had suggested from the beginning which allowed them to remove the washier with no scratching or issues. Once we arrived to the new house and they had to move items downstairs the one mover complained the entire time of how he was going to bust a hole in the wall. These items where not snug fitting to the wall at all. This one man was VERY lazy and not motivated but freely shared he was very tired and had not slept. I will never use this company again and would advise you look around before booking. read more

i had the worst nightmare ever while using this moving company. the poor guys that actually did the moving were extremely understaffed and most likely will have some type of physical injury. after charging my c. card, the office staff became completely unreliable and unprofessional. they did not send the number of men agreed and show up 6 hours late. they refused to communicate with me the entire day of the move. i should never have signed the work order in the dark, as i did not see the physical damage to my equipment until i unloaded it the next day. read more

If you are considering using the services of this company - DO NOT! Do not put yourself through the frustration. We hired this company to do a two part move. Moving a few pieces to an apartment and the remaining pieces to storage. We were given an estimate that would include two separate trucks w/ 3 movers in each. Our understanding was that one truck would move the apartment pieces and the other would move the storage pieces. My husband and I even took the time to label and separate apartment and storage pieces for easy identification. Logical, right? Well for some reason they decided to load everything on both trucks mixing the pieces and taking things to storage that was not suppose to go and bringing things to the apartment that should have gone to the storage. It also caused us to go over the estimated time by several hours. After the final load was brought to the apartment and we informed them that they did not load the washing machine and brought 4 area rugs that were suppose to go to storage, we were told they would not be taking the rugs to storage (they left them all in the middle of the living room floor of a tiny two bedroom apartment) and they would not be hooking the washer/dryer up bc they were not going to remove the base of the machines to do so. I've placed calls to the person that set the move up as well as the owner of the company. There was so much more that went wrong with this move (broken furniture, cabinets removed and still on the truck, etc.) but I'll spare you the rest of the details. Just know that this company failed miserably with a simple two part move. read more

The Denver location should be investigated and someone should be arrested!! They have lost and damaged the majority of my parents belongings. Everything smelled like weed, box's were opened and rummaged through. My parents just retired and moved to Arizona, Specia Op's were supposed to deliver to her on Friday morning, after several phone calls, someone finally called her back stating there were "mechanical problems," will be there Saturday morning, Saturday morning came and went, this time no one returned a phone call!! Saturday night they showed up, missing over half their belongings, and the mover informed us they didn't even load the truck until 11:30 Friday night!! There were no "Mechanical problems"! After being told her belongings would be in a pod until ready to move, their stuff was just thrown in a wearhouse they didn't know who's stuff was who's!! (From the movers) They load up guessing what might belong to that person!! The items that did arrive were severely damaged!! My moms 80 year old table and buffet were scratch very badly, chairs were broken, dresser looks like someone punched a whole through it! They say they are "vetren" friendly, my dad is a vet, my parents are senior citizens, and this is how they treat them?! They won't return a phone call!! The "owner" Leo is rude, unprofessional, and aggressive! Scheduled a meeting with them for 5:30 pm He finally showed up 47 minuets late! All I can say is god I had a police officer with me, I couldn't imagine his behavior if the officer wasn't there. I felt very threatened! If you value your belongings don't use this company!! Read their reviews and look at the over 40 complaints filed with the BBB!!! Stay away, far away!! read more

YELP SHOULD ALLOW NEGATIVE STARS,! Do not under ANY circumstance hire Special ops AKA delta force movers unless you want to be cheated, lied to and have your delivery held ransom. I have pages of documentation but once they have your goods, nothing matters but more money. The actual workers work hard..once...you pay management again an again...oh and trying to find out who is who is a very interesting adventure. A written and signed estimate with Delta Force of 6287...with me a 66 year old woman doing all the packing of inside house using own boxes and material turned into an 8500 job with Special ops. They cited unpacking at Warehouse as the extra cost even though I was looking directly at the daily bill of laden that added the extra time and was zeroed out each day. They tried to make me go get a certified check for the additional money (@ 1100 Friday when we were closing). Administration said they only took 2000 on credit card. I told them how interesting because I had already paid over 5000...on a credit card...response...OH...KEPT CALLING AND CALLING and messaging and messaging...texted...Delta Force and it was sent back to Special Ops...Their web pages state they work with and donate to veterans...well someone needs to make them prove that hook...my husband is a retired disabled veteran and all this company did was take advantage of him. I DO NOT KNOW HOW DOT allows this group to keep a license. DO NOT HIRE!! read more

Special OPS Moving & Storage also known as Movers Connection YOU HAVE NOW BEEN WARNED!!! Do not use this company! The office manager, Acacia and the owner Sarah Thorpe's boyfriend Michael are liars and thieves!!! Your belongings will be stolen if you use their storage facility. Furniture and boxes will be gone and they won't bother returning your calls. Do Not Sign ANYTHING if you pick your items up from their storage. This is how they will scam you about the mediation company in Florida...which is a joke to deal with also! Don't fall for "sign here or you cannot pull away from the dock!" Drive AWAY...you will find you are missing a lot of belongings. What you do have will be broken, gouged and trashed!!! They do not hire Veterans, They lost their BBB Rating and if you think the Attorney Generals Office or P.U.C. at D.O.R.A. will help, that's a joke too! If you have anything in their storage facility, you better get insurance! Let your Insurance company fight with them and win JUDGMENTS. They have numerous ones against them. I was shown copies of the Judgments when I went to go file a claim against them in April 2016. LOSERS!!! LIARS and THIEVES!!! My husband and I are in the army and relocate regularly. We had to move within the Springs this month and use our own choice of movers. We chose Special Ops moving. We saw the reviews werent all great but I know more people ususally leave reviews if the experience was bad versus good or average. I decided to give them the opportunity since they donate to Vets in need. These movers were so great! They worked so hard and were so nice and polite and asked me where I wanted my items placed. Took extra care going through the tight corners with the large items. There were a few marks on the walls(to be expected) I don't really know how they even got the pieces through but they did. I was very impressed and would recommend Special Ops anytime. When talking with Specail Ops I wondered why they had so many poor reviews and they said they move 300-400 people per month and only have 1% complaints. They encourage people to leave good reviews and it doesnt always happen so I wanted to make sure I left a good one for them because they deserve it! read more

Tony and Reggie were FANTASTIC. They arrived promptly at 9am (when they were expected between 9 and 10am), wrapped and padded everything required, worked literally non-stop until 6:15pm when the entire 26 ft truck was loadednacrossnthree stops and then unloaded into our new home. The only break they seemed to take was when driving and when I bought them Snarf's sandwiches (their first time having them :)). We couldn't be happier with our move, and we couldn't have done it without Tony and Reggie. The staff at Special Ops were great, too. Incoming call, scheduling, down payment, and when we had to reschedule our move, were all easy and straight forward. Our neighbor had recommended Special Ops, I will definitely recommend them as well. Compared to Two Men and a Truck and All My Sons, Special Ops had better value and after our experience, I'm not sure how their moving service could be beat. read more

Major shout out to these guys who helped us move a couple of months ago. Efficient, kind, professional and fast. The two-man team worked like an army. They understood that their time was our money and although they were entitled to for sure, neither of them took breaks. They worked hard and moved us with nothing broken, scratched or damaged and no one hurt. I was recovering from the flu and was low on energy to begin with. Their work ethic and strength was so impressive. Seriously, two guys felt like ten as they moved and loaded/unloaded their truck. Give those guys a bonus because I've never seen two people do the work of so many in such a short amount of time. And the programs for injured troops that you support with extra revenue? Nothing short of amazing. Recommending to anyone moving in the Denver metro area. read more

I wanted to write a review on this company Special Ops Moving and Storage. These guys were great. On my last move I downsized tremendously into a smaller house. These guys came and picked up all my oversized furniture and belongings that would not fit into this tiny house. They packed it all up and put into there storage facility for a really reasonable price. I also opened up an office out of state as well as a small apartment when I have to travel there for work. These guys do long distance moves and was great they not only moved a whole HUGE office and unloaded furniture into the apartment but they set it all up for me!!! FANTASTIC!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! SAVED ME FROM DOIG ANY LABOR AND HEADACHES!!! Thanks Special Ops Moving and Storage for EVERYTHING!!! David P read more

Super Service! This moving company was the best my husband and I have ever used. Jamal and Anthony greeted us with a smile when they arrived and where very quick and helpful to our moving needs. They were extremely accommodating and friendly. They never skipped a beat, and where I would have been banging the corners of end tables into door frames, they never scraped a single item or showed a lack of care for our furniture. They wrapped are dresser to my satisfaction and were careful with every box labeled fragile. None of my personal items broke during the move. After all was said and done they clearly explained the rate and final bill. Their tips were well-deserved and I'd recommend them to anyone that's looking for reliability and efficiency at a great cost. read more

Stay away guys !!! Save yourself headaches , wasted time and money . I hired this supposedly moving company to move some of my furniture and equipment . They delibaretely broke an expensive kitchen equipment , a Turbo Air Refrigerated Bakery Case. They tought it will be easier to transport if they took it apart . They removed the front sealed glass and broke it in pieces.. They did so without my permission rendering the bakery case useless. After filing a claim they offered me pennies on the dollar , which was another insult, ignored my phone calls and called me a liar. The case is still pending in Denver court . Those people have no conscience or sense of duty and you would do yourself a big favor by looking for another moving company . read more

Hired them to move a piano. Arrival window was 9-10. I got a call at 10:30, after waiting for two hours, that they won't be able to arrive until 2-4pm. I had blocked off half a day of work. I had them come the next day instead. The 4 people who were supposed to come at the rate I was quoted, were only 3 people, an hour late. Scratched the wall moving the piano, but I had signed several waivers of which didn't hold them liable for floors and wall damage. I asked for a discount for the poor service and for missing a half day of work for nothing. Nothing. The movers were nice enough guys and when the finally showed up they had the right tools and were quick, but everything else was pretty disappointing. read more

I recently made the move out of Denver. Special Ops Moving was amazing. Tony was my crew chief and we had 6 people to pack us and 6 to move us. I can say this was the easiest move I have yet made and who likes to move? I think the fact that I trusted the people in my house and liked their personalities as I got to know them helped put me at ease. The crews were very professional and handled all my belongins with the utmost care.. I would highly recommend Special Ops to anyone in need. Mike came to my house to do the walk through and he was so awesome. Such a nice guy. The booking process was extremely easy and they went over all the information very well. Thank you! You guys are great! read more

I'm normally used to moving from place to place myself, however, I now needed help. Special Ops moved in quick in responding to my email and getting me just the right amount of help for what I needed. David Jr and David Sr. were extremely helpful and with the amount of stress I was going through at that time, actually make me calm and laugh with them. At first I thought the price was a bit high, but for all the stress I was going through and amount of pain my body would have felt doing it alone, it was well worth every penny. Thank you Special Ops and thank you both David's I'm impressed and relieved. All I need now is to unpack all the stuff. read more

The crew that came out were very friendly and polite with customer service at the top of their list. I had a very limited amount of space for them to pack everything into and they fit it all, and all the while letting me know how it would be protected and the best way to unload. they took extreme care to protect my house and all the contents they packed. I just with I could use them when I get back to Northern California, but they only have offices in Southern California. HIGHLY RECOMEND this company. read more

I called Special Ops Moving and was immediately greeted in a professional and friendly manner. This trend continued throughout the moving process. Scheduling, loading, unloading and paperwork were all done in a timely and efficient manner. The movers were polite and professional and did a great job. A quality control representative even stopped by to make sure everything was going OK. I would be sure to recommend Special Ops moving to anyone. Great job Guys!!! read more

This is the first time I've used professional movers, so I was a little nervous. These guys were phenomenal! They were on time and within the window we had agreed upon - they even called in advance to say they were on their way. I had 3 guys and a 26-foot truck. They worked so fast and efficiently it was unbelievable. They had the entire truck loaded in less than an hour. I would definitely use them again. read more

Special ops moved me into my new place yesterday in Cherry Creek and I'm just delighted to be here. With all the shopping restaurants and fine dining and beautiful views. There were a few hiccups along the way as with any move, but overall I was definitely impressed. I would highly recommend special ops! read more
