I chose Kay's as they had a really nice selection of sympathy planters. I love flowers, but for sympathy occasions I do prefer planters. I can't say enough good things about the beautiful "The FTD® Peace & Serenity™ Dishgarden" that I had chosen. The plants and flowers looked so beautiful, and the quality of the basket was lovely! Flowers and planters are not cheap- but I am so pleased what they had delivered to my friend, and she was completely blown away also. Thank you Kay Penny Florists for a beautiful delivery! In my case, we were picking up before closing time on the way to a memorial service so we'd only have a chance to see the finished product. When you provide a higher-end price point (above $150), you're hoping to eliminate the risk of having a small or underwhelming arrangement. Unfortunately, that was the case with the initial arrangement prepared for us. The good news is that a family member went to pick up the arrangement early and saw that it was not acceptable and requested it be redone. To their credit, Jean's flower shop worked with us to redo the arrangement and the final outcome of the team effort was a lovely arrangement suitable for the price point and occasion. Giving 3 stars because they accepted a last minute, same-day request and worked to redo the arrangement but I would have given 1 star for the initial product at the price we paid. I chose Fascination Flowers because they were about 4 blocks from where I wanted to send them. I can't believe how terrible the bouquet was. Just awful. I wanted to spend $30.00 on flowers, but also had to pay $11.95 for delivery (of 4 blocks). So $47.40 with taxes. I've bought much better AND larger bouquets of flowers for that price at the grocery store! So disappointing.

I paid 170$+ for this arrangement and had I not been invited to the service (cap at 25 people due to Covid), I might never have seen the final product. I like seeing what I paid for, we all work hard for our money, so I'm not sure why they couldn't accommodate.
