I reached out to Mobility Center (Honda approved installer) and was assited by Alan who after showing me several options that would possibly work in my Honda SUV, I decided the best solution was the Bruno 6900 powerlift that is installed on the inside of the vehicle and can be operated by myself without relying on anyone else which is critical as my lady isn't always available. Alan personally came out to our home here in East Mesa and drove our vehicle to their shop in North Phoenix which is about 45 miles from our home. After the Bruno lift was installed, Alan again personally delivered our Honda back to our home. He then gave me a detailed demonstration on how to load and unload my power chair using the lift. He then had me try it out; it took several attempts to get used to loading and unloading my power chair. I have, after practicing multiple times used my lift to transport my power chair by myself which has been absolutely awesome! I now have the ability to go out independently and confidently to do errands, go to various stores, etc. I cannot thank Alan enough for his OUTSTANDING customer service from beginning to end. I cannot recommend Ability Center strongly enough; if you have mobility needs, they're the place to go. Many thanks to Alan, Connie and the rest of the team at the Ability Center in Phoenix. I wrote an earlier review but took it down. Let me explain…read more.. Last Friday I bought a 2012 Honda Odyssey from Ability Center on 19th Avenue. I want to say that the salesperson I worked with, Christina, was beyond patient and hung in there with me until I found the perfect van. She helped me find financing that I am very comfortable with and was genuinely concerned for my comfort and safety when making sure that this van would work best for me. I took my other review down because a day or two after I wrote it the van had a glitch. The sliding door was closing before the ramp was up. The other handicap van I owned had some pretty major issues with the ramp and I sort of freaked out. This was on a Sunday when Ability Center is closed, so I managed to get the door closed and sent an email to them explaining the problem. First thing Monday morning, Chip called and said they'd get someone there to pick it up. He apologized for the wait. What I didn't know is that there is a 24-7 number I could have called for immediate help from Ability Center. I was glad to get that information for any future problems may have. Long story short, the van was picked up at my residence, worked on right away, fixed and returned to me the same day by a very nice young man named Jose who informed me that not only is there a number I can call if help is needed off-hours, but that Ability Center will service the handicap equipment every six months. He said that this would be available for me as as long as I own the van, and will always help when I need it. I have such faith in the folks at Ability Center. Yes, I was upset when things went awry, but really felt like I had someone in my corner who was happy to help get me back on the road. Impressive way to run a business. Thank you. Allison

He is a great asset to the location. The website says they close at 1pm but there's a sign on the door advising of their new hours (thankfully) til 3pm. For 11 years family and friends started needing more and more care - until they didn't. We find the selections at AZ Mediquip excellent. We have rented and purchased medical beds here. Our wandering the aisle talking about which collaboration we will buy eachother in 2035 is the most attractive, lightest, best features. Then bought one for a family member on our last visit. Cane's, hand and motor-powered chairs, lifters, beds products supporting all kind of medical needs. AZ Mediqui0 has them. We like it here.
