Totally unhappy with the service and quality of my glasses. My wife and I decided to purchase our glasses from Specsaver's Deer park store due to Specsaver's having the best deal at the time, however I wish I went elsewhere. When I picked up my glasses I noticed a scratch on the sunglasses lens and a mark on my seeing glasses, a staff member tried to remove it but was unable so she asked her manager for his assistance which he removed with his finger. I don't believe this is the correct way to remove a mark from any glasses especially when there are special cleaning products provided. Two weeks later I received a call from the store to collect my repaired sunglasses. I thought they were okay until I got home and noticed little dint marks in the inner frame, honestly I did not bother taking them back because I already had enough at this point, however one week later a plastic bit from the glasses fell off so I had no choice but to take the sunglasses back to the store and I requested that the sunglasses be completely replaced with new sunglasses because I was not happy that the sunglasses became damaged with dint marks while trying to change the initial scratch on the lens, therefore the store manager agreed to replace the sunglasses. Two weeks later I decided to call the store to find out what is happening with my sunglasses. I spoke to a lady by the name of Daniella she said "they are not ready yet and we will call you when they are", she did not even provide me with an estimate date of when my sunglasses will be ready. While on the phone I asked Daniella if the sunglasses are going to be a complete replacement she said "only the frame will be replaced" Due to my frustration I decided to call head office and complain about everything. The man I spoke to from head office said he will contact the store to get them to call me to give me a status update, I received a call same day that I originally spoke to Daniella saying that the repaired sunglasses are ready to collect, strange that she couldn't tell me this from the beginning, it shows that she did not even check to see if sunglasses came in. When I collected the repaired sunglasses, I again noticed tiny dint marks in the frame and a defects with one of the lens, I am so tired of their horrible service that I might take this matter further with the ACCC, I just personally don't want to step foot in that store again . Specsaver's may have good deals but I can't say the same about their fake customer service and quality of their products. read more
