There is a display of figures that were from the old Halle's department store. And they had ornaments that Mr. Hixson had created for the White House. He was there that day, incidentally. I bought a shiny banana ornament, because pretty much every other ornament was golf, nautical or parrot themed. I'm not really into any of those. One thing i thought of was to describe the place as "Hoarders"-ish, then i read my old review and discovered i already had. There were lots of customers that day, and some were buying candied fruit slices out of the front case. Eeps. I'm not even sure those were intentionally candied, or if the ravages of time had petrified them. I' d rather eat my glass banana ornament just to be on the safe side.

See my review of it. Mary Jane Ferris, wedding and event coodinator extrodinaire, sent me to Ferris Steakhouse for a venue. Then she connected me with Brenda, SociallyArtistic for all my flowers and decor. OMG Brenda is unbelievable! She worked with me and completely understood my personal, crazy situation of family etc. My daughter decided the colors for the wedding because she is a busy doctor and hates shopping. Brenda was so understanding and let me wait until my daughter told me the color of the dress she chose before we decided on our pallet. So cool. Socially Artistic delivered all the bouquets and boutonnieres to the church for the ceremony. She was there when we all arrived and pinned the flowers to the men and made sure all the ladies had their bouquets and corsages. It was a little hectic bug Brenda was like a rock in the torrent. I also got a wrist corsage for my mother-in-law. It was exquisite and perfect. My mother-in-law spent a lot of money on her gorgeous dress so I did not want to stick a pin in it. She loved her flowers. In fact, she has not had one word of criticism for the entire wedding and I've been her daughter-in-law for almost a week! I am just getting to the reception. Brenda and her team turned the party room at Ferris Steakhouse into a fairytale scene! Glorious hydrangeas an roses of every pink hue everywhere. And lovely candlelight at multple heights all around the room. There were candlelit flower garlands on the fireplace mantle and over the doorway to the party room. Every table was laden with small and large arrangements. Unbelievably charming!!! There was a topiary on the appetizer table that was magnificent. I told Brenda that I wanted twinkle lights and she delivered! Our reception was magical, thanks to Socially Artistic and Brenda's magic. Now I will tell you how easy Brenda made the whole thing. Really easy. Whether your wedding is in 2 months, or a year or more, call Brenda. You will be so happy you did.

I hired Brenda to be the day of coordinator at my wedding this past weekend and I don't know how I…read morecould have gotten through the day without her help. The first time I spoke with her she invited me to meet with her in person and made me feel at ease to choose her as my coordinator. About a month before the wedding, we met again to go over all the final details. She was extremely helpful in polishing up the last minute details, such as how to add some time to the ceremony. Any uncertainty I had, she had a solution, and a good one! She was very responsive to me during those days leading up to the wedding. The wedding was so well put together the day of. She helped coordinate and communicated our bridal party schedules. She was calm and comforting during what could have been a stressful time. She set up all of my décor in a perfect way. Everything was just perfectly coordinated. I highly recommend Brenda for your wedding. Although we didn't hire her for her full planning package, I am certain she would do a fabulous job on that as well. Don't bother going here, they have no respect for people's time…read more On Sunday, October 23, my girlfriend and I went to Airport Go-Karts because it was a really nice day and I had a Groupon. Since we were coming from Chagrin Falls, I double-checked their Web site, Google Maps, and called to make sure they'd be open. Their site appears to have zero information about when they're open. Google Maps shows they're currently open Thursday through Sunday. When I called there was a prerecorded message which included days and hours of operation. Guess what? We wasted about an hour of our time and two gallons of gas. We made the trip only to find Airport Go-Karts completely closed for the season. In fact, the large sign on the side of the road said the last day of the season was September 25th. So this place has been closed for almost an entire month but hasn't bothered to update its hours on its phone recording or Google Maps (and probably other spots as well). Two other cars showed up shortly after we got there. I talked to someone who got out to look at the hours and he had no idea they were closed either; he hadn't even noticed the message on the road sign. In fact, the sign on the entrance still listed days and times the they're open, there was no mention of being closed for the season. On top of all of that, they still have offers available on Groupon (which will likely expire before they reopen). What a joke. I won't won't waste more of my time trying to go to Airport Go-Karts again in the future.
