Bain Park Cabin - Outside -- Friday, 5 July 2024

    Bain Park Cabin

I visited this park on Friday, 5 July 2024 at 5pm for an outdoor wedding. Bain Park also has a…read morecabin that is available for rent. Chairs were placed outside in a slightly wooded area with trees. Due to rain that started as soon as my friend, the bride, walked down the aisle, the wedding ceremony was cut extremely short. The whole ceremony took about 5 minutes because of the rain. After the ceremony, we all took cover under the white gazebo for about 20 minutes. Then, everyone proceeded to the cabin in the park where dinner would be served. Unfortunately, I couldn't stay for dinner but I briefly entered the building/cabin however, I didn't see much because I had to leave. It was most likely set up with tables and chairs for dinner. Regarding having a simple wedding here, it looks like alot of people do host weddings here. Give them a call at 440-356-4444 if you want an indoor wedding in the cabin or an outdoor wedding in the wooded area outside. I've only been here once so a 3/5 rating is fair. **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 55/150 total reviews in 2024 - 705 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 6 July 2024

There is a beautiful little wooded area with a stream and old stone bridges that are perfect for pictures any time of year and you are nearly guaranteed to see deer. There is a no alcohol policy, hopefully they change their minds on that, I think they would be booked every day.

This place is an experience; this is their main production facility, which also has a huge bar and restaurant space. It's so well planned; sit wherever, order food at one place, beer at another. They have bar seating, big and small tables, high tops, etc. Even with all the variety, it was still pleasantly loud and busy. At the entrance, you can go to the merchandise area, which is big. They have all their canned selections ready and cold to go as well. To the left of the bar is a self-guided tour hallway, where you can see a lot of the brewery and their huge wall of major beer awards from over the decades. We sat at a high top near the bar; the bartender was so efficient with our beers, there were so many to choose from I only wished we could've stayed longer. It's family friendly with games. Prices are super reasonable for the continued quality and arguably strong beer styles. If you're a beer fan, whether new or a veteran, this is a must-visit regional powerhouse. I look forward to visiting again soon.

We started with the Frickles, crispy pickle chips served with honey mustard and sriracha 1000 island dressing. The sriracha 1000 island is so good that we always ask for an extra side to dip our fries and chips in. I ordered a house salad with the Bumbleberry Poppy Seed dressing, which was fresh and flavorful. My youngest son stuck with his usual favorite, the Smoked Brisket Poutine, which never disappoints. My husband ordered the June special, the 5-OH Burger. This massive burger features an 8-ounce patty topped with ghost pepper cheese, Hawaiian BBQ candied jalapeños, bacon, onion straws, a grilled pineapple ring, and a cream cheese jalapeño popper. The flavor combination was outstanding, and the spice had a delayed kick that sneaks up on you a few seconds after each bite. My oldest son went with the BBQ Burger, loaded with smoky BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, house bacon, onion straws, pickles, and horsey sauce. Another excellent choice. To wash it all down, my husband enjoyed two beers: the Hazy Headhunter and Hop Thunder from Down Under, both of which he really liked. The food is consistently great, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere is always lively and welcoming. Today we sat outdoors on the large patio. After all these years, Fat Head's continues to be one of our family's favorite places to eat. Highly recommended!

We worked with the owner, Nick to make sure that everything went off without a hitch. We had heard some bad stories and read some poor reviews, so they also hired a Wedding Coordinator whom had held events here in the past for extra assurances. We're really glad we did both because everything went so well! The venue looked beautiful on the morning of the wedding! Nick had everything ready and had the outdoor landscaping trimmed as requested. The food was amazing and everything was presented right on time. Our guests were all treated wonderfully by the staff. Thanks for assisting in making our son's wedding day such a success!

We were looking for something special, and what we found was so much more than a meal. Chef Nick and his staff truly make you feel like you are at his home. His home is a unique relaxing experience filled with unique pieces of art and decor that are a reflection of Nick. The grounds are equally inviting and relaxing. I could go on, but I don't want to ruin it for you. We had the 5 course, and every bite was delicious. Each plate was thoughtfully presented and paired beautifully with a wine. (I started of with a refreshing cocktail) If we stopped at the soup, it would have been a great food experience. The portions were sized perfectly, leaving you satisfied and wanting more. The salad was fresh and fit in perfect with the evening, the fish course was perfectly prepared and the Steak was sublime. I had more than a meal, I had the singularly best food experience that I can remember. The hardest part is knowing it changes each weekend and I can get back there soon enough. A perfect place for a wedding, reception, shower, reunion, etc. Go with a desire to relax, enjoy an evening and amazing food!
