I wanted to bundle my Internet cause AT&T was way high and this thief of a salesman tried to charge me a $75 fee quote me a 110 a month for both Internet and TV told me I got all kinds of channels with it he's a liar. I called spectrum Direct they sent a salesman out not only did I get free installation but the first month is free. And he told me the price he quoted me was a lie. He said 110 when it was 140 and it wasn't one gig either do not use this store.!!!!!!! read more

When I walked in a man told me they didn't take internet equipment since they're just a mobile store...yet there's no mobile sign on the front of the store. He tells me I have to go to a UPS Store to turn my equipment in. Wish that was a zero star rating due to rude customer service. The lady that helped me was extremely annoyed that we didn't call to troubleshoot the issues we were having. Me and my wife looked on the app it said to bring the equipment back in. After the new equipment was given to me and I was leaving, the lady made sure to comment on how nasty the equipment looked when it had a couple pieces of fur and was a little dusty. Spectrum has the ABSOLUTE worst internet service I have ever used, in the 27 years I have had Internet and that includes dial up! I have to use them because my apartment complex charges whether I am signed up with Spectrum or not... prior to Richardson Place's draconian edict to use their preferred provider, Spectrum, I had AT&T for two years and in that two years, my Internet only went out once or twice and that was in a storm... when all services were down. Spectrum goes out on average once every week or sometimes two weeks. The longest I have gone is about a month without the Internet being down and having to call and have them reset which takes anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes to an hour. Terrible company... and when you go into their office, you may have every technician doing nothing but they still make you wait anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour if you do not have an appointment. maybe other people have better experiences, but I am not impressed. read more

A neighbor told me to come to this store in person to get help to establish internet for my newly-built house as another store told me bad information and the online help was of no use. I arrived here when it first opened for the day. It's been 30 minutes and counting and they have only 2 staff working on the same 2 customers since I arrived. Now the store is filling up and I don't know how much time it'll be before I finally get waited on. Such a joke. read more

The asian employee got called an ass by a customer bc he was coming across as unwilling to help her. Doesn't make it right that she said it, but she is gone now. Now he is starting to show why she called him that to the existing customers who are patiently waiting well over an hour for help. This is the absolute worst service. My internet goes out at least 6 times a month. Yes, I have the cheapest internet but I also do not need anything more considering I'm a household of one, not a gamer, nor do i work from home. Also I appreciate you raising my prices an extra $15 a month for being a "loyal customer" and me not gaining anything from it. Not just the store but as a whole the company is terrible. My internet service was out for an entire month. I was given the runaround on when it would be fixed. I got new equipment that didn't work, had a technician come out, he told me that I needed maintenance to come and fix the issue within 48 hrs Well maintenance never came. I called multiple times, and was told "oh give it another week". Only after I cancelled did they come and fix the issue. The representative who helped me the last time I called is the only one that followed through on what he said and I definitely appreciate him. Not to mention the store employees are incredibly rude. The tone they take on when speaking with you is one that is not professional but condescending. I understand working with the general public is tiresome. After all that is my job too. Regardless, I don't know how any of them keep their jobs or how the company stays in business because I've never experienced such terrible customer service in my life. I just would have appreciated some honesty and to not have been given the runaround. read more

don't recommend at all. terrible customer service. we went in simply to drop off our wifi equipment which we were told we could do by a spectrum call center worker. i when we walk in no one greeted us. i had to literally get 3 feet away from a group of workers until one of them finally looked up and told me to go "check in" on some tablet at the front. i told her i just needed to drop off equipment, and she tried to tell me that ups does that not them. i told her that we were told by a spectrum employee that we could come here, and said we still had to "sign in" on the tablet. after we signed in 30 seconds later she called us over to a table. the guy that ended up helping us said they can take the equipment but they can't take the box that the equipment literally came in?? these people are stupid as hell. and lisa is a bitch read more

I would not recommend Spectrum. This store is a joke and the service. The Rep told us that we could drop off our equipment at the store. When I got into the store to drop off the equipment, I was told to leave and to take the equipment to the UPS store and have UPS ship it to their store knowing I was already there. read more

His goal is to get defensive and blame the "call center" and then try to tell you how business works and that you can't expect them to train the "thousands of people" working there who gave you incorrect info. When you ask for the manager, you will wait.... And wait... and wait. He claimed she stepped out for a minute to speak with a customer. Lies. She (Lisa) was standing in the parking lot chatting it up with someone- clearly a personal contact. That's fine, but just say she's not available. This place is a mess. They didn't fire James. Still there and terrible as ever. Hiding behind his screen avoiding eye contact even though he could have helped us. Just didn't want to. Probably playing Diablo 4 or something. Anyway, the guy who did help us gave us no instructions and wouldn't you know it, nothing works. Can't get through to an actual help desk person either because...Charter. I have no idea how this company is in business, I've never heard a loss it I've word about their service yet somehow they manage to struggle along. God where have standards gone. Anyway, thankfully Fiber is in my neighborhood now so I'll be switching over. Yeah, ATT isn't great but it couldn't possibly get worse than Charter. Was at a friends house while a technician was out. This is the 4th time she has had someone there. She had requested the supervisors number so we messaged and requested her to the location. Not ever 5 minutes go by and the supervisor Rhonda called this poor tech and started cussing him out, screaming at him for giving a number as he thought that was the correct one. I have never been in utter disgust by this type of treatment from someone. She sounds like a very nasty and unprofessional person. He stood his ground but gosh. Hope this kid get a raise for that. I upgraded my Internet equipment and had to return my old equipment. I was not informed of this when I originally called but I caught it right away in an email. I took it to the store. And when I walked in, I noticed there were two people ahead of me being taken care of. I stood there for about 10 minutes with the big box the equipment came in and noticed the young man working, kept staring at me. Meanwhile, a few more people came in the store. It was then I realized you had to check in on a computer, so that put me at the back of the line. I know he saw me and he could've informed me to check in when I was finally helped. When it was finally my turn, I was helped by another man who was nice enough, but informed me I would have to take the big box with me, even though it was originally theirs. Basically they didn't want to deal with the trash. I usually don't report problems. I just felt this was all around bad business. read more
