I would like to add a 0 instead of a 1. My husband passed away unexpectedly and I tried to cancel the cable and internet. I can not afford it on my salary alone. They would not let me cancel it!!! They kept wNting to take to him. I explained that he passed away ND then they wanted to have a copy of the death certificate and I had to fill out a form online. Which I did. Still won't turn it off. I guess the only way to get your service shut off is to just not pay the bill. read more

I went to local spectrum to see if I could get internet clint and jack were the two guys who helped me get my service to where I could afford it they were awesome in every way and went above and beyond of what was expected of them I just wanted to share my experience about these two guys they are the best in the business and if you need help they are on it immediately I highly recommend seeing these guys they rock and get a 5 star rating on my side of things all day long! read more

Worst customer service ever. Drove over an hour to switch my 4 mobile phone lines; left empty-handed and trodden on. Don't bother making a reservation, "appointments don't matter", said the manager. Spectrum, you need to get your house in order; stop advertising services that your customer service team can't live up to. read more

I cancelled my service in tje middle of the month and they charged me more for the whole month than my actual bill. And they got equipment back. Said they dont prorate their Bill's. What the heck. I hate this company and how much they charge for cable and internet and now they do this to the american people. You dont pro rate Bill's. What kind of people make this type of decision. read more

I have been trying to help a neighbor with her phone service thru Spectrum. After being on hold for over an hour, they gave me the option of holding for another 30 minutes or get a call back in 10-15 minutes. That was a 2:30 pm. I still have not had a call back, so I tried to call them again and they hung up on me. My neighbor has fainting spells and needs her phone to call 911 if she falls. The worst service I have ever received. My grandfather waited 9 hours for the cable person to come to our house. In that time period he called Time Warner Cable 4 times. The first time the operator said the cable person was running late. The second time the operator said the same thing. The third time, well after our scheduled window of time, the operator told us they canceled the ticket and rescheduled the appointment for days later. When asked for the reason, they gave us an extension for theirbsupervisor and to call back in 30 minutes. We called back the 4th time to find that the extension didn't exist. I am appalled that Time Warner Cable would treat an 80 year old diabetic so disgustingly. read more

In a land of terribly rated cable companies where one comes to expect awful service, Time Warner has set a new low standard, so much so that I tried to cancel my cable after purchasing Apple TV. Note that I said "tried," as I am still in the process that has been ongoing for several months. In September, I made the initial call to sever ties with TWC, and was told to call back, the person who could help me wouldn't be in for another two hours. I had called early in the morning, so, although I thought it was strange that someone was there who could access my account, only one person who apparently liked to sleep in could cancel my services, I called back at the appointed time. Sorry, there would be a wait, but would I like them to call me back in an hour? Why yes, that sounds better than being on hold. Two months and two bills later, still no return call (I'm lazy, I know, but who wants to deal with TWC customer service?), so I psych myself up one evening to end it once and for all. After what felt like negotiating myself out of a hostage situation, I still only got away with basic TV and Internet (weak, I know). I return my cable box, and get home to find an email confirming an appointment to install cable--wait, what the WHAT?! I just cancelled that! A relatively short Internet chat later, I am given three numbers to call to cancel the appointment, because you can't just do that online, one of which doesn't work at all, the second of which is a survey to win a Caribbean cruise (yes, a fake number) and then the third of which takes me to the saddest man alive because he actually works for this sham of a company. The next morning, I wake up, and have an email billing me for my regular cable bill ($182) PLUS the cable downgrade ($48), so I'm being charged an additional amount for downgrading! Another Internet chat later, I find out they plan to bill me then credit my account as being "overcharged"...um, no thank you. I ask them to stop this since I have not actually been charged yet, and guess what? I GET THREE NUMBERS TO CALL. read more

The worst service I've ever seen. Had a cable line hanging two foot across main road. I called and was told it would be a week before they could come and repair line. I had to call fire department to come and tie line up so cars would not tear it down. If I were anybody looking for service I would call Direct TV. read more

It would kill these people to say "thank you, have a nice day". There's one woman in particular who works with the public & she is immature, uneducated, & rude. Half the time they give you misinformation that they themselves believe in a hundred percent. Whether your there paying your bill (giving them your money) or there picking up a cable box that you already ordered, these people will ruin your day. They act like actually dealing with customers is the biggest inconvienence.....apparently they don't want customers but that makes me wonder- why do they like to sit in that tiny office all day alone? Alone doesn't make them or the main company any money....too bad I couldn't rate them 0 stars. read more
